Its a job based shop management software where it is easy to use and also has different modules for quoting, accounting and costing.

Cons

Costing needs good knowledge about taxes and you should be aware of using the software as deleting the old data to make space for the new.

Exact JobBoss is an advanced fully deployable accounting and financial management software solution. It works best with Microsoft SQL. It uses the CRM tools which is amazing. Easy to use. Easy to Navigate around the software. Their support team needs a lot of improvement though.

Pros

We have had great support for setting up and learning the system. I don't know very much about computers and software... But I don't need to know. They help a lot.

Cons

I can't say anything about this yet; we have not had any negative issues.

Cons

Scheduling is time consuming and not user friendly. Definitely needs to improve the scheduling engine in software.

I suggest having a consultant on site for 1-2 days to get everything configured correctly. We did it on our own and had a consultant come in later to help us clean up.

Pros

The software itself is easy to use. They have excellent Support. There are lots of features and options.

Cons

Set-up can be difficult if you do not think things through thoroughly. You might have to go back and redo things again. Reports are very basic. They can be customized, but only through Crystal Reports. You will need the full version and some expertise. Otherwise you have to pay ShopTech for customization.

This is a simple program to learn the basics of with a multitude of options. The user interface is very straight forward. It is mostly all encompassing as far as ERP systems go. The options are plentiful, buried a bit, but easy to find. Extra seats are Included. A good tool for a small business trying to track quote to cash.
