Pros

The team overall . Super . They made everyone feel comfort and always ready to help.

Cons

Was too fast paced . There’s a lot to cover. Hopefully it can be tailored where once you attend the bootcamp you can start using the software .

JobTread Software has been amazing for us. We used another platform before, that was way overpriced and due to the costs kept us from getting all our processes into one place. Now thanks to JobTread Software we are functioning so much smoother and faster. My team has loved the transition and continues to learn how to make this software work to make their daily tasks so much faster, easier, and more transparent.

### "Finally CM software good at everything!"

We've implemented and evaluated many construction management software programs. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. Highly recommend

Pros

The estimating functionality with catalog and parameters is industry-leading. JobTread has the best Gantt chart we've ever used for scheduling. And the documents are fast, easy, and quality.

Cons

We have no detractions. JobTread is good on all fronts even technical support and collaborating with external users.

### "Best Software for Small Home Builder"

We have been with Job Tread for almost a year. The software has really help us streamline what was manual processes before using excel. Beyond the software, the JobTread Connect conference was extremely valuable. As builders, contractors and remodelers from all over the USA come together and have an opportunity to share best practices and network in a non-competitive environment.

Pros

Their Customer Support! They have been so helpful at every phase of setting up the software. The company is based in Dallas, TX and have an amazing team culture. They encourage taking care of their customers. They do not outsource anything...so you get a live person during business hours if you have a question.

Cons

They only interface with Quickbooks and there was no work around for other accounting software's. We have been using Foundation Software due to their Job Costing abilities. Job Tread does such a good job with job costing that we decide it was time for a change. We transitioned over to Quickbooks and love it so far.

Onboarding was much easier! The Builder GM was trying to take a software meant for large scale businesses and make it work for small businesses so there was missing functionality to be price competitive with JobTread.

If you have used any other SaaS similar to JobTread, there are pros and cons to them all. JobTread is in its own universe and absolutely knocks it out of the park. I've tried at least half a dozen other services - buildertrend, costcertified, houzzpro, asana, companycam, and others that I cannot even remember anymore.

Pros

The fact that I can call/text/email my Success Manager Marley, and they immediately know who I am and can help me directly is mindblowing. JobTread is engaged with its customers and actively iterates on the service with continuous improvement.

Cons

It took me years and trying numerous other services until I found them. I wish I found them sooner.

Overwhelmingly positive. \[sensitive content hidden\] has taken a lot of the pain away with the transition from Jobber. Super communicative and willing to help.

Pros

The estimating is very robust and gives us a lot of freedom to play with numbers to make sure our projected margin is right where it needs to be. Customer communication and lead management is also fantastic.

Cons

While the estimating is as feature rich as I could possibly hope for, the process is a bit cumbersome. I hate that I have to delete an estimate and revise the budget in the case of a change of scope or change order. I would rather just edit the estimate.

We've only been using JobTread for a few months and our team for less than a few weeks and have had good feedback. \[sensitive content hidden\], our acct rep, is easily available via email, phone or setting a one-on-one appt with to answer all our questions.

Pros

Easy to learn and use. We are a smaller company, so this fits perfectly with our budget and needs. Our account rep is available when I need and extremely helpful. Training videos, especially w/\[sensitive content hidden\], are spot on and concise with how to navigate different items in Job Tread.

Cons

I wish it was more customizable, especially for our proposals, but the price point wins out on this.

### "A+++ Powerful and well devised software"

A+++ This software rocks. I'm thankful to have this tool to run my business. It's a bargain compared to my previous CRM, and the feature set is incredible, especially the vast 3rd party integration capabilities. The customer service is incredible, and the company has a super positive culture.

Pros

The number one reason I love JobTread is the fantastic customer support. I have a dedicated success manager who I can contact directly or can schedule group sessions to answer random questions about the software and how to best adapt it to my business. Once you build your catalog of services/products, you will be able to generate detailed proposals in just minutes. The second reason why I love JobTread is because the feature set is extremely well thought out. After the initial setup, the workflow to produce proposals and convert to an active job is seamless. I can easily incorporate employees, subcontractors and client to participate in the project by only adding their email in the system. The software maintains a repository of all communications automatically.

Cons

Honestly, nothing. I think this software has been perfected and the development team is clearly on top of adding customer-requested features and fixes issues promptly. For my purposes, it meets all of my needs for now.

Pros

This management software has been a life saver! It truly is keeping me and my entire team organized. I have already recommend this platform to 3 others!

Like anything, you have to take time to learn their lingo and how this system works.

JobTread has been a game changer for our company. We have tried several platforms over the years and always struggled to find one that fits our needs and/or has the capability to customize. JobTread does it all and everyday it's makes everyone's life easier both in back office and the field. The customer service is of the highest quality

Pros

I love the ability to customize at every step. All along the way, the interface is intuitive and extremely simple to adjust.

Cons

Remembering to push save! But this is more about the user. The program is amazing.

From the beginning, the experience has been pleasant and easy. The software is very thorough, but not too complex, though it takes some time to learn because of all it has to offer.

Pros

JobTread is very affordable for as deep and thorough as it is. It was clearly designed by people with construction backgrounds and they keep the needs of their contractors in mind by continually improving and changing the software to make it even more useful and helpful than it already is. They love to see you succeed and their customer success team is focused on just that— helping you succeed! They want nothing more than to see you succeed and benefit from their software and they blow any other construction software out of the water.

Cons

I can’t think of a single complaint I have.

This software provided the essentials of what we needed to centralize our job data, and share it with trade partners and clients. We have found the customer service reps are helpful, and check in to make sure you are getting everything best for your company from features available. We enjoy watching the new product and feature launches online. The Job Tread team has exceeded our expectations.

Pros

Software looks and feels good, tracks and stores essential job information as expected. Excellent tagging feature to get info for files and photos in front of the right people quickly. Easy to use client dashboard.

Cons

That we did not learn of this company sooner mostly.

Trying to remember all of the functions that are available, however that not a bad problem to have just learning as I go because JobTread offers so much.

### "Run dont walk to Jobtread"

The experience I have had has been phenomenal. 10x better than what I was dealing with on my previous software, plus being able to save some $$$ is a nice perk. They are always on top of things and really make me and I would say other users as partners in the software for changes and to make it a better system.

Pros

The customer service is phenomenal and they always take your ideas and critiques into consideration and will make changes. They also strive for working together with other contractors to figure out the best way to do things and making us more efficient but also profitable.

Cons

There isn't much that I don't like about JobTread. The only thing I have noticed so far, and it is minor, is not having a yearly budget in the software. Just having that constant assurance that I have it in there and the software is tracking it makes me feel better, but it isn't a deal killer for me.

We absolutely love JobTread. It is a robust system with a lot of functionality. Their customer service, training and documentation is second to none. Our team has used MANY platforms and moving to JobTread has been a sigh of relief. It is robust enough to grow with us but easy enough to use that adoption has gone very well well! My overall experience with JobTread has been great. I look forward to using it each day.

Pros

JobTread has solved a lot of communication and work flow issues that stemmed from not having software that was the right fit. California and our company has unique needs - and no company has been able to help us with even the California aspect so we were constantly making work arounds that didn't even work and we could have no "procedures" because everything was just so choppy.

Cons

The dashboard, I would like it to be more customizable. Also more options for mobile notifications.

Nothing solved our issues "enough". No program is perfect but each program we tried would always be missing a crucial element that we needed.

We used Hatch intially so we would have a shared platform to communicate. Hatch cost twice a month as JobTread and didn't even meet our shared communication needs. Things were hard to find, the app was terrible, etc. Houzz Pro was good at first but quickly fizzled out and we looked for other options. We had to have too many work arounds with Houzz and customer support wasn't helpful.

### "Great Customer Support!"

Very Positive experience. Their website contains training videos that are easy to sort through and learn from. They also make live training sessions available so you can ask questions directly while taking the training. The product is mostly intuitive and easy to use with a little training. I really enjoyed working with this platform as part of my job. They implement suggestions. I have experienced how an improvement was made to the product that enabled me to edit another employee’s Daily Log for the Customer field. This improvement was made within a couple weeks of suggesting it (to my delight) and it saved me an enormous amount of time.

Pros

Support is excellent! Our Customer Support Representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] returned a response within a day of an email, and it would usually have the answer to a question I was looking for. I could schedule a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with her, sometimes within two days and usually within the week, and she was very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Product is available in English and does not translate automatically into Spanish. Many staff members speak Spanish as a primary language, so it is difficult for them to use.

### "It's a No Brainer!"

It has helped us to stay organized, know exactly where we are in the project, and show us in real-time when we are behind on tasks and how that affects our margins. I love that everything is in one place now! Before we job-costed with JobTread, we used our "little black book" to record our hours for the day. We thought we were doing good... Fast forward to the first job we tracked in JobTread and it told us a different story! We did not realize the tasks we were falling behind on or getting ahead of. We were able to adjust in real-time. When we saw one task getting behind and the profit margin getting lower, we were able to adjust and make it up in other places. It has helped us improve our margins after just one project!

Pros

The other aspect I love about JobTread is that everything is in one place now! I had a separate time-tracking app, task list, invoicing system, etc...Now I can do everything in one place! Some of my favorite features are: Task Lists-We set priorities for the day for each person in our company and can see when they are accomplished so everyone stays up to date. No more miscommunication.Kanban Views-It's important for us to be able to track where our leads are in the sales pipeline. This view makes it easy! Finally, I can't say enough about the customer service of this company! They truly feel like they are cheerleaders for our company.

Cons

The CRM is geared more toward Projects and not leads.

JobTread staff listen to their customers' needs and actually work to make those changes. We have been with JobTread since September 2023, and in those short 8 months we have seen so much development from their team that benefits us as customers. I feel like they KNOW us and we KNOW them, which is RARE for a software company. If I have a question, I can text \[sensitive content hidden\], my customer success manager, or hop on the Facebook group and receive immediate support from fellow users or the \[sensitive content hidden\] himself! (\[sensitive content hidden\] are always helping too!) JobTread is a solution that everyone loves -- our clients, our team and our trade partners. People who I never would expect to utilize the system, are using it! Because it is simple for them. As you can see, I cannot say enough great things about JobTread. If you are thinking about making the switch, just do it!

Pros

JobTread is an amazing company! We own a small general contracting business. We needed a software to help us organize our communication between clients, trades and employees. We also needed a software to help us better manage our schedule and communicate updates efficiently (without being super complicated). Finally we needed a software that could help us better track actual job costs to increase profitability and become better at estimating future projects. JobTread is our solution!

Cons

Document numbering is a little funky with integration with Quickbooks. This is NOT a big deal and literally the only thing I can come up with for a con.

Great- I would work with them again and recommend them to anyone who is working on multiple projects who needs to organize information all in one place as well as keep on a schedule!

Pros

Ease of learning and access to support! All information in one location.

Cons

I would like to be able to email out of and keep that information within the system as well. We are still having to email sometimes as some companies have trouble opening our documents and links from JobTread

It has been nothing but 5 star all the way. Each and every one of them are 5 star. Beyond that, greatness attracts greatness and the user following that embodies Job Tread is the least arrogant, most helpful, selfless and empowering group of professionals I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Pros

At first, the design, the flow, the ease of use, and the onboarding process but as we have become more and more involved and invested in Job Tread, all of that pales in comparison to the people to make up Job Tread. The people who pick up the phone every single day, answer messages, emails, social media....No matter what. The Job Tread team is absolutely a class act. I have used just about every CRM software there is and Job Tread's capabilities and their team is unmatched.

Cons

When people are in your corner to help you succeed and are there for you regardless of the type of day they may have had, you become close to those people. Having met many of them at Job Tread Connect, we wish that Atlanta was closer to Dallas so we could visit with them more.

Each of the other companies have their plus's but they have all completely lost touch with the "why." I did not feel valued there in the slightest. Their developments and improvements were for them, not their customers. Their user base was disgruntled, unhappy, frustrated and that translated into a very negative environment. That negative environment translated into the tech support which had their hands tied. Their negativity circled right back towards the users. None of the 3 were favorable environments to work in.

### "We've found our enterpise software!!"

We joined a few months ago and it has COMPLETELY improved our business 10 fold! In this short amount of time, we've been able to expand our business, as we've been able to balance more contracting jobs at once. We've been lot more organized, since our current staff can now handle more work... I can't even imagine how we survived before this. I can't wait to run our numbers at the end of the year to see the results. This is now our 3rd enterprise software, and I'm so happy we've finally found our home!

Pros

Ease of use. Ability to manage multiple jobs requiring multiple days at job site. Excellent price point. Excellent customer service, never have to wait to get answers I need. Excellent training videos. Accessible dedicated customer support manager, dedicated to our team, who is extremely knowledgeable of the software.

Cons

It does not currently have the ability to notify customers from the app (on or way texts and job reminder notifications).
