### "Finally, Quality Construction Software We've Always Wanted That's Affordable!"

In every way I've interacted with the company, I've had my expectations surpassed. They assign a customer success manager to your account who checks in on you to make sure you're set up and don't have issues. They hired a lady with a doctorate (trained in process management) to help with the training and she's phenomenal and her training videos are best in class and her info is well thought out. The JobTread team believes in hard work and it shows. Like Cal Newport's book, "Be So Good They Can't Ignore You" it's just a matter of time until the market can't ignore JobTread. Incredible experience.

Pros

Having a simple, well-thought-out program that helps us improve profitability!I thought I had a good solution before JobTread, but I always wondered if something more tailored to construction companies existed.It's simplifying our business because it is helping us stay organized in general, track job costs IN REAL TIME, manage jobs, assign tasks to team members, schedule with gantt charts, and reduce email inbox since it comes with a customer portal (and a vendor portal). That means you can have unlimited customers in your database. Having one place to manage everything for the business is truly a dream.

Cons

Very hard to come up with anything negative, but the only improvement I see that might be made is that we have hundreds of customers in our kanban view and it takes a few extra seconds to search for specific customers. This isn't a huge deal since it shows up, but the rest of the app is so snappy, it seems that they'll need some technical change to address that UX loading fix.

Seeing the ratings for JobTread, specifically that it won for usability and customer satisfaction. Then watching some of the videos and getting familiar with the interface, I was able to see that these software engineers know what they're doing and that we couldn't go wrong with it.

Simple, Intuitive award winning product that is perfect for simple project management. Usability is so important in Project Management because no matter how good your system is, if it's not usable, it won't help you. I was convinced that I wanted to try JobTread after seeing that Software Advice had them ranked as the number one for both customer satisfaction and usability. They were also listed on G2 as the least popular and highest rated.

I have loved using jobtread, minus the setting up for our business needs, but that is just part of customizing the system to suit our needs and is definitely worth the pay off.

Pros

Jobtread has helped us immensely with our estimating processes. Managing projects and leads with salesman has been really simple after customizing jobtread to fit our company needs. Im very pleased with jobtreads customer service they go above and beyond! They al very competively priced and offer way more than its competitors.

Cons

There honestly isnt much to dislike. They are constantly improving when needs arise, they have a feature request system that helps show them what we would like added.

### "Jobtread Usability and Performance"

Jobtread is nice to use. It is very useful for communicating and tracking documents and workflow on clients and employees. In budget, it’s also very easy to use for estimating wherein you can also connect it to the vendors or bid requests.

Pros

I really like how JobTread streamlines the estimating process. It’s easy to create, update, and track cost items, and the ability to send bid requests and receive quotes directly through the platform saves a lot of time.

Cons

What I liked least about JobTread is the accuracy of estimating directly from the uploaded plans. Sometimes the takeoff tools or plan measurements don’t align perfectly, which can affect estimate precision.

Incredible! I have never been taken care of so well by a software company. They give their customers a white glove experience.

Pros

The value for money is incredible. It saves me hours on budgeting, estimating, and job costing. Very intuitive and the customer support is next level. They give you an account manager that helps you with anything you need. They are making improvements and adding features so the time. Love it.

Cons

Their CRM is pretty basic. But you can augment it with Zapier. They are getting more into automations now and I would love to see some AI features in the future.

I appreciate most the intuitive nature of the software and the responsiveness of the development and support teams

Cons

Speed of updates sometimes makes it difficult to implement every new change to your workflow. Could be beneficial to move to a quarterly product update which might make multiple UI upgrades at once more easily implemented

Super impressed with all experiences I have had with jobtread. It has only gotten better since joining the platform aswell.

Pros

There customer support is above all else. They are there when needed to walk you through the issue everytime. The value they give with the expansive increase to their software very frequently is another killer selling point.

Cons

The only con would be when we originally started with jobtread there was a lot of helpful articles, however there is always more questions you come up with that weren’t explained super great at that point. But it is all amazing now.

Cons

Still needs commercial support such as RFIs and also be able to pay subs. Integrating with Blue beam will be amazing.

### "Buy JT (but hire an expert to inplement)"

3 year user and I will stick with it and don't see us leaving anytime soon Hire a specialist to help implement the system for your operation To use to it's full potential, it's best to have actual processes in place; if you are fly by the seat-of-your-pants contractor you will struggle, but if you devise processes and incorporate JT you will be successful

It's a simple design and well layed out but not kitschy Great support Reasonably priced Highly customizable Love the budget component

Cons

Highly customizable; I found it complicating Integration with QBD Reports aren't and operations aren't intuitive

Pros

Customer service is exceptional. Ever increasing capability in software capability. Customer portal is a great feature and allows engagement. Value for the money is unmatched.

Most of my cons have been corrected by continuous improvement of the software. There was a learning curve like any worthwhile tool.

### "Finally CM software good at everything!"

We've implemented and evaluated many construction management software programs. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. Highly recommend

Pros

The estimating functionality with catalog and parameters is industry-leading. JobTread has the best Gantt chart we've ever used for scheduling. And the documents are fast, easy, and quality.

Cons

We have no detractions. JobTread is good on all fronts even technical support and collaborating with external users.

### "JobTread Experience Stands Alone"

If you have used any other SaaS similar to JobTread, there are pros and cons to them all. JobTread is in its own universe and absolutely knocks it out of the park. I've tried at least half a dozen other services - buildertrend, costcertified, houzzpro, asana, companycam, and others that I cannot even remember anymore.

Pros

The fact that I can call/text/email my Success Manager Marley, and they immediately know who I am and can help me directly is mindblowing. JobTread is engaged with its customers and actively iterates on the service with continuous improvement.

Cons

It took me years and trying numerous other services until I found them. I wish I found them sooner.

We've only been using JobTread for a few months and our team for less than a few weeks and have had good feedback. \[sensitive content hidden\], our acct rep, is easily available via email, phone or setting a one-on-one appt with to answer all our questions.

Pros

Easy to learn and use. We are a smaller company, so this fits perfectly with our budget and needs. Our account rep is available when I need and extremely helpful. Training videos, especially w/\[sensitive content hidden\], are spot on and concise with how to navigate different items in Job Tread.

Cons

I wish it was more customizable, especially for our proposals, but the price point wins out on this.

It's been fantastic. Every day I learn something new, either by working on it or from their outstanding facebook page. It is a very close-knit community.

Pros

It is very flexible. I t can do almost anything you want. Also the support you get is top notch. We have a dedicated specialist to help us whenever we need it. When she sends us videos, it is from our own site with our own customers etc....

Cons

Would like to be able to do take offs, emails, and send out AIA draws. Can't do it yet, but they are working on all of it.

Customer support is excellent and fast.

Pros

It covers everything we need. form the lead capture thru the estimate to finalizing the agreement. and then scheduling, getting bids, doing change orders and sending bills.

Cons

nothing yet. It functions differently than what I am used to, but a quick call with my rep and easy fix

### "Job Tread, the only project management software you'll ever need"

This software provided the essentials of what we needed to centralize our job data, and share it with trade partners and clients. We have found the customer service reps are helpful, and check in to make sure you are getting everything best for your company from features available. We enjoy watching the new product and feature launches online. The Job Tread team has exceeded our expectations.

Pros

Software looks and feels good, tracks and stores essential job information as expected. Excellent tagging feature to get info for files and photos in front of the right people quickly. Easy to use client dashboard.

Cons

That we did not learn of this company sooner mostly.

We used BuilderTrend for many years prior to starting our construction company. However, we found that BuilderTrend cost structure was too expensive for a small builders.

We wanted to improve file organization, and provide better access of information for our clients and trade partners. Monday was great for us years ago as a startup, but we found ourselves needing a more niche solution. We were very hopeful with Houzz, but painfully found it was not a good solution for us.

My overall experience with JobTread has been great. I look forward to using it each day.

Pros

JobTread has solved a lot of communication and work flow issues that stemmed from not having software that was the right fit. California and our company has unique needs - and no company has been able to help us with even the California aspect so we were constantly making work arounds that didn't even work and we could have no "procedures" because everything was just so choppy.

Cons

The dashboard, I would like it to be more customizable. Also more options for mobile notifications.

Nothing solved our issues "enough". No program is perfect but each program we tried would always be missing a crucial element that we needed.

We used Hatch intially so we would have a shared platform to communicate. Hatch cost twice a month as JobTread and didn't even meet our shared communication needs. Things were hard to find, the app was terrible, etc. Houzz Pro was good at first but quickly fizzled out and we looked for other options. We had to have too many work arounds with Houzz and customer support wasn't helpful.

I can't say enough good things about JobTread! After using four other project management platforms for my company, Royal City Renovations, I can confidently say this is the best one by far. The software is intuitive, powerful, and seamlessly integrates into my business operations, making project management smoother than ever. One of the standout features is the price—it's incredibly reasonable for the value it delivers. But what truly sets JobTread apart is its top-tier training and support. Their training resources are second to none, and my dedicated CRM is available almost 24/7, providing incredible support whenever I need it. I recently attended a two-day training at their corporate office, and it was beyond impressive. Not only did they walk us through how to use the software, but they also showed us how to optimize it to run a more efficient and profitable business. They went the extra mile by welcoming us into their offices, hosting a social event, and introducing us to their entire team. I left truly feeling like part of the family, not just another "user". JobTread has transformed the way I run my company, and I couldn’t be happier with both the software and the incredible people behind it!

There offices are in Dallas. If they were closer I would spend more time there!

### "Small Fence Company Review"

Pros

I love how multi-faceted and customizable it is! As a residential wood fence contractor, it makes my proposals much more professional, as well as my requests for quotes from vendors, customer and project management, and more!

Cons

It can be a steep learning curve, but there are so many tutorials and customer service reps are super helpful and always available. I’d love to go to Dallas for one of their bootcamps!

### "Great Customer Support!"

Very Positive experience. Their website contains training videos that are easy to sort through and learn from. They also make live training sessions available so you can ask questions directly while taking the training. The product is mostly intuitive and easy to use with a little training. I really enjoyed working with this platform as part of my job. They implement suggestions. I have experienced how an improvement was made to the product that enabled me to edit another employee’s Daily Log for the Customer field. This improvement was made within a couple weeks of suggesting it (to my delight) and it saved me an enormous amount of time.

Pros

Support is excellent! Our Customer Support Representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] returned a response within a day of an email, and it would usually have the answer to a question I was looking for. I could schedule a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with her, sometimes within two days and usually within the week, and she was very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Product is available in English and does not translate automatically into Spanish. Many staff members speak Spanish as a primary language, so it is difficult for them to use.
