### "Finally, Quality Construction Software We've Always Wanted That's Affordable!"

In every way I've interacted with the company, I've had my expectations surpassed. They assign a customer success manager to your account who checks in on you to make sure you're set up and don't have issues. They hired a lady with a doctorate (trained in process management) to help with the training and she's phenomenal and her training videos are best in class and her info is well thought out. The JobTread team believes in hard work and it shows. Like Cal Newport's book, "Be So Good They Can't Ignore You" it's just a matter of time until the market can't ignore JobTread. Incredible experience.

Pros

Having a simple, well-thought-out program that helps us improve profitability!I thought I had a good solution before JobTread, but I always wondered if something more tailored to construction companies existed.It's simplifying our business because it is helping us stay organized in general, track job costs IN REAL TIME, manage jobs, assign tasks to team members, schedule with gantt charts, and reduce email inbox since it comes with a customer portal (and a vendor portal). That means you can have unlimited customers in your database. Having one place to manage everything for the business is truly a dream.

Cons

Very hard to come up with anything negative, but the only improvement I see that might be made is that we have hundreds of customers in our kanban view and it takes a few extra seconds to search for specific customers. This isn't a huge deal since it shows up, but the rest of the app is so snappy, it seems that they'll need some technical change to address that UX loading fix.

Reason for choosing JobTread

Seeing the ratings for JobTread, specifically that it won for usability and customer satisfaction. Then watching some of the videos and getting familiar with the interface, I was able to see that these software engineers know what they're doing and that we couldn't go wrong with it.

Simple, Intuitive award winning product that is perfect for simple project management. Usability is so important in Project Management because no matter how good your system is, if it's not usable, it won't help you. I was convinced that I wanted to try JobTread after seeing that Software Advice had them ranked as the number one for both customer satisfaction and usability. They were also listed on G2 as the least popular and highest rated.

I’ve used all the big software packages and there’s just no comparison to job tread. Only what you need, nothing more. Great price. Absolutely top-notch support when you need it. Proud to be a job tread user

I appreciate most the intuitive nature of the software and the responsiveness of the development and support teams

Cons

Speed of updates sometimes makes it difficult to implement every new change to your workflow. Could be beneficial to move to a quarterly product update which might make multiple UI upgrades at once more easily implemented

### "Jobtread Usability and Performance"

Jobtread is nice to use. It is very useful for communicating and tracking documents and workflow on clients and employees. In budget, it’s also very easy to use for estimating wherein you can also connect it to the vendors or bid requests.

Pros

I really like how JobTread streamlines the estimating process. It’s easy to create, update, and track cost items, and the ability to send bid requests and receive quotes directly through the platform saves a lot of time.

Cons

What I liked least about JobTread is the accuracy of estimating directly from the uploaded plans. Sometimes the takeoff tools or plan measurements don’t align perfectly, which can affect estimate precision.

My company since starting with Jobtread being able to estimate and build proposals and track our jobs has helped me to grow our company over 1600% in the last three years.

Pros

Jobtread’s ease of use for me was a game changer, In estimating and sales. We began using the job tracking feature about two years later after we started and it also has been a game changer to know where our company is.

Cons

It’s really difficult to find a Con in a product that has provided so much. If I had to mention one, it would be the selection item would be the most difficult to use. However, following the tracking of the software and people putting work into it, this is a piece of the puzzle they are putting together.

Builder trend canceled my training sessions for six weeks in a row leading up to learning how to invoice projects. When they canceled my training sessions I needed to invoice for over $90,000 in work and it left me hanging and in a bind. I was able to Jump onto Jobtread on a Sunday morning and by Sunday evening I estimated $70,000 in work and build out for 60,000. Something that I was not able to do in months of training with builder trend.

Pros

Fantastic customer support, consistent feature updates, the estimating features and billing features were super important for me when I signed up. Great value compared to competitors

Cons

I wouldn’t really say that it was a dislike, but switching from buildertrend was a challenge because I was so used to it , and the framework is completely different from buildertrend

Super impressed with all experiences I have had with jobtread. It has only gotten better since joining the platform aswell.

Pros

There customer support is above all else. They are there when needed to walk you through the issue everytime. The value they give with the expansive increase to their software very frequently is another killer selling point.

Cons

The only con would be when we originally started with jobtread there was a lot of helpful articles, however there is always more questions you come up with that weren’t explained super great at that point. But it is all amazing now.

3 year user and I will stick with it and don't see us leaving anytime soon Hire a specialist to help implement the system for your operation To use to it's full potential, it's best to have actual processes in place; if you are fly by the seat-of-your-pants contractor you will struggle, but if you devise processes and incorporate JT you will be successful

From researching their product, to scheduling the demo and implementing the software daily in my business, it has all been amazing thus far. The demo was absolutely flawless, they gave me a lot of insights into the software and upcoming updates too! So far, I haven't used 100% of the features, but I can tell you that it has helped me drastically. Especially as a service business in the construction industry. Now, I don't have to worry about losing a customers contact, or forgetting to send them their quote or even their invoice. It's amazing! Also, it's not hard at all to incorporate the system into your day to day. It took me about 3-4 days to get to that "Aha!" moment.

Pros

I was looking for a platform that could help me integrate many features for my service based business. I stumbled upon JobTread while researching and testing different software. I initial had my doubts, especially because JobTread does not offer a free trail of their software. However, their team does offer 1 on 1 product demo, where you could ask as many questions as you'd like. Aside from offering exactly was I was looking for, their customer service is above and beyond. They also have an extensive library of videos and resources online to help you answer quite literally anything you're looking for.

Cons

Despite having all the features I was looking for, their customer portal UI seems to be a tad bit difficult to navigate. For example, a customer who has no idea about navigating the portal, may take some time to realize how to navigate from the "Dashboard" tab, to the "Documents" tab. I believe that if JobTread were to replace their current navigation (ON MOBILE), to something more familiar such as the default 3 lines menu button, that would help customers significantly. Another thing to add would probably be how cramped the mobile experience feels, especially for the client. I wish it had less of a CRM feel (ONLY CUSTOMER SIDE), and more of a simple UI.

### "Finally CM software good at everything!"

We've implemented and evaluated many construction management software programs. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. Highly recommend

Pros

The estimating functionality with catalog and parameters is industry-leading. JobTread has the best Gantt chart we've ever used for scheduling. And the documents are fast, easy, and quality.

Cons

We have no detractions. JobTread is good on all fronts even technical support and collaborating with external users.

From the beginning, the experience has been pleasant and easy. The software is very thorough, but not too complex, though it takes some time to learn because of all it has to offer.

Pros

JobTread is very affordable for as deep and thorough as it is. It was clearly designed by people with construction backgrounds and they keep the needs of their contractors in mind by continually improving and changing the software to make it even more useful and helpful than it already is. They love to see you succeed and their customer success team is focused on just that— helping you succeed! They want nothing more than to see you succeed and benefit from their software and they blow any other construction software out of the water.

Cons

I can’t think of a single complaint I have.

Great product but the customer service is far and away the best ever.

Haven't found anything to be dissatisfied with yet. If we have an issue or question there is some on the JT team to find the answer or resolve the issue quickly.

Customer support is excellent and fast.

Pros

It covers everything we need. form the lead capture thru the estimate to finalizing the agreement. and then scheduling, getting bids, doing change orders and sending bills.

Cons

nothing yet. It functions differently than what I am used to, but a quick call with my rep and easy fix

this has all the features I was looking for and a great price point

Great- I would work with them again and recommend them to anyone who is working on multiple projects who needs to organize information all in one place as well as keep on a schedule!

Pros

Ease of learning and access to support! All information in one location.

Cons

I would like to be able to email out of and keep that information within the system as well. We are still having to email sometimes as some companies have trouble opening our documents and links from JobTread

Pros

The estimating, the job costing, the scheduling, the 100% customizable catalog of things to choose from. Theres really too many to list here.

Cons

Kind of the same thing about what I like most about it. Sometimes its just wayyyy too complex for what I need. Again tho, that's an "us" thing more than a JobTread thing. It takes a bit to get used to what you need to do and how to set everything up. The great thing is your account manager and the JobTread team know how to help on the backend to help integrate everything as easily as possible.

I can't say enough good things about JobTread! After using four other project management platforms for my company, Royal City Renovations, I can confidently say this is the best one by far. The software is intuitive, powerful, and seamlessly integrates into my business operations, making project management smoother than ever. One of the standout features is the price—it's incredibly reasonable for the value it delivers. But what truly sets JobTread apart is its top-tier training and support. Their training resources are second to none, and my dedicated CRM is available almost 24/7, providing incredible support whenever I need it. I recently attended a two-day training at their corporate office, and it was beyond impressive. Not only did they walk us through how to use the software, but they also showed us how to optimize it to run a more efficient and profitable business. They went the extra mile by welcoming us into their offices, hosting a social event, and introducing us to their entire team. I left truly feeling like part of the family, not just another "user". There offices are in Dallas. If they were closer I would spend more time there!

Pros

I love how multi-faceted and customizable it is! As a residential wood fence contractor, it makes my proposals much more professional, as well as my requests for quotes from vendors, customer and project management, and more!

Cons

It can be a steep learning curve, but there are so many tutorials and customer service reps are super helpful and always available. I’d love to go to Dallas for one of their bootcamps!

Cons

The scheduling component needs to be more robust—the way the JT team continually adds features, I’m confident it will get there!

### "Efficient Project Management Made Easy: My Experience with JobTread"

I give JobTread a five-star rating because it's amazing at managing my projects and handles my accounting seamlessly. The integration with QuickBooks Online is fantastic, and my bookkeeper loves it too. The software is really easy to learn and use. If you have any questions, they assign a support specialist who you can reach out to. They respond super quickly and even send a video showing you exactly what to do. I highly recommend JobTread for anyone in the home building industry.

Cons

The one con I've found with JobTread is that it doesn't automatically calculate the contingency from the total project cost. This requires manual input.
