I've been using HubSpot Sales Hub for over 3.5 years and it has changed how I interact with my prospects. It has also greatly increased my volume of deals.

Pros

The HubSpot Sales Hub is an essential to HubSpot's spoke of products. Being able to easily and quickly follow up with prospects, deals, and clients makes the hub worth the investment.

Cons

The implementation of workflows is tedious and can necessitate a HubSpot expert to be employed. However, once everything is in place, it is a dream to use.

Overall, it’s a solid tool for streamlining sales processes and keeping everything organized, but it can get pricey as you scale. I also think there needs to be a better way to integrate the business card scanner.

Pros

The integration with our CRM and automation features makes tracking and managing leads super easy. The email templates and sequences also save a ton of time.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, and reporting could be a bit more flexible. Also, Business card scanner is not integrated in an easy way.

Very good product that offers interesting features in the free version. Great opportunity to try it before investing in it. Gmail extension could be improved.

Pros

I have used the free version of HubSpot Sales Hub to create a client database. I am impressed by its quality and features. Even if the usage is quite basic, because I always want to try products before committing to a paid subscription, I was able to create a comprehensive database and to cusomise some fields. This is extremely helpful. Even if the number of customisations is limited in the free version, it is enough to allow you to tune the contact list according to your personal needs. I am sure the paid version is very impressive. I will compare it to other products but so far I am very satisfied.

Cons

One thing that was very disappointing was the extension for Gmail. Hubspot offers to possibility to add an extension to Gmail so that each email you send to or receive from a contact on your list is automatically copied to the HubSpot database. You can also send emails directly from the platform. This is incredibly helpful instead of having to copy and paste all the emails to keep track of them for each client. I have my professional email with Google Workspace, so it would have been perfect. However, it does not work well. I had to reinstall the extension several times, it started to work and then it stopped. This has limited my possible usage of the database.

Onboarding was guided and painless, and new reps ramp quickly because all prospect history—emails, calls, notes—lives on one timeline. We’ve trimmed our sales cycle by two weeks and gained clearer revenue forecasts without hiring a RevOps admin. Still, we’re watching costs as we scale and hope AI reporting matures, but the ROI so far is a clear win.

Pros

The learning curve was almost flat: we imported 3 yrs of data and ran our first pipeline in under a day. Sequences, meeting links, and automatic email tracking save each rep ~4 hours a week, while Breeze AI writes snappy follow-ups and summarizes calls. Native integrations with Xero, Slack, and Zoom mean no messy zap-work. The mobile app is clean and lets me move deals while standing in airport security.

Cons

The pricing jump from Starter to Professional is steep if you only need one or two automation features. Forecast and “conversation intelligence” reports still glitch on long calls, and support tops out at 8 p.m. ET—tough for West-Coast nights. Email-sync rules can’t filter out every internal thread, so our CRM occasionally clutters with non-sales chatter.

Mostly great! I like using the app and it's features. The HubSpot trainings are also very informartive and useful.

Pros

It's easy enough to set up automations and tracks a large nmubers of contacts and interactions very well for the price you pay for it. I use it weekly to keep my records straight. I've never had a problem finding my invoices and paying them where necessary. The features are simple and effective.

Cons

It can be tricky to add outside plugins like CallRail and have it function properly unless you have a dedicated tech guy to help keep it straight.

Pros

I like the way I can customize Hubspot to give me the exact information I want to see. I like how robust the product is. I like that Hubspot also offers customer service and marketing so a lot of my business functions can easily talk to one another and take place in the same software solution.

Cons

It only allows 2 deal types with a sales "seat" and at that price point, I feel the deal types should be unlimited. Hubspot is quite pricey especially if you want access to all the features.

Pros

It has been easy to use to learn, reporting, and list building are effective and easy to learn. I like to use deals for tracking activity.

Cons

I am not a big fan of the task manager yet, I am still learning to search and manage tasks but it does not seem that I can search by all task types.

Really happy with Sales Hub - has quickly become indispensable to the team and really links in well with other hubs (particularly marketing) for an end-to-end view of the funnel

Pros

Broad range of very useful features which combine to offer great sales tools - would say it's almost indispensable to our team now. Sequences do what they need to for outbound work, the meeting scheduler has plenty of options, the forecast tool is useful and things like the playbooks are extremely useful for guiding SDRs.

Cons

Would like more flexibility in some reporting and setup - for example, starting the forecast tool half-year instead of having to choose across the whole year. A few more automation options around sequences would be handy as well (and not stuck behind the enterprise license)

Hubspot has been a huge boon for our sales side. We usually only get two or three hundred contacts a month, and it works great and is reasonably priced for that scale. It gives you the ability to benefit from stuff like pipeline management, automated workflows, and sales sequences which add up to dozens of hours saved each month which has more than justified its costs for us. I'd definitely recommend Hubspot if you're looking to systematize your sales operations and manage everything all form one place.

Pros

1\. The automation capabilities are out of this world. We've set up workflows for initial emails, follow ups, stage movements, task updates, you name it. It saves you endless hours from having to do everything manually. 2. The pricing tiers for small businesses are a lot higher than the other tools we tried. You can still fully enjoy its benefits without having to pay a lot more than we were ready to.

Cons

It would be good to have some of the integrations improved more. We use the Surveymonkey integration to collect feedback but it can only collect and log responses from surveys, we'd als love to be able to send data to HS automatically from the submission tables.

### "HubSpot - If you're using another CRM, check this one out"

While none of the team evaluating HubSpot when we were looking to upgrade our CRM a few years ago, had experience with the product, we were impressed with the user interface, features and functionality offered. We needed to be sure we could easily onboard our sales team and make the transition to this system as easy as possible while providing business value. Integration with our instance of the HubSpot Marketing Hub allows for seamless lead flow from our website, management of leads and deals, tracking of touches whether by email, phone or manual tasks provides us with the ability to ensure follow up with new prospects and current customers.

Pros

While there are many key aspects of HubSpot we find critical, one of the, if not the most critical is the ability to have our HubSpot Sales Hub linked and aligned with our Marketing Hub. We started with the Sales Hub first and the marketing team soon found value in adding the HubSpot Marketing Hub so we have end to end integration allowing smoother demand generation, lead flow and tracking.

Cons

Honestly it is difficult to find a con that is a result of what HubSpot offers. We use NetSuite as our ERP for finance and had to work with a 3rd party vendor on a complicated integration between the two that we need to actively monitor as there will be a few instances each month of syncing not going through for a few deals that will result in a needed adjustment.

I first used the Hubspot free version until my company decided to switch from Netsuite to Hubspot for our CRM. I didn't realize how much more Hubspot could do until I had the paid version. I have used 5+ CRMs and Hubspot is by far my favorite.

Pros

Easy to use. Very intuitive even for the non-technical savvy user. Ability to create custom scheduling links to send to prospects. Ability to integrate with numerous other programs to really streamline your workflow and save you time! Ability to create beautiful email templates. Ability to create links to documents, videos, images, and more to embed into emails. Get open rates, click rates, time viewed, etc. App for smartphones for easy on-the-go access. App also helps you log incoming and outgoing calls when related to a contact. Easily track sales pipeline on an interactive dashboard. Automatically logs events and emails through linked calendars and email inboxes. Can launch calls from site and app, log type of call, and record the call!

Cons

I don't really have any complaints or cons with HubSpot itself. I would love the app to be able to do a little more, like create/edit/add a quote.

Hubspot really gave our team a structured way of keeping our deals organized, and gave our leadership team a 30,000 level view of the deals that are in the pipeline. Concrete steps lead to concrete results.

Pros

I like many things about hubspot. One of them is being able to schedule email outreach days and sometimes weeks in advance gives a lot of time back for the rest of the week.The reporting and analytics are also great because i have an easy way to track outreach numbers and the deals that are in the pipeline with their associated progress

Cons

One of my teammates schedules his email outreach, but has been experiencing issues with the emails actually going out.

I found HubSpot to be well designed and highly intuitive.

Cons

I have had some issues with how documents are managed and I did have a request for the ability to add customizable task definitions which would suit our workflow better. Not sure if I should be proud or pissed when they added the option to the upgraded version of HubSpot.

Overall, HubSpot has been easy to learn (Gen Z salesperson) and adjust to the needs of our team. The community and updates help smooth out what rough edges there are for such a big tool.

Pros

It's simple and powerful. If you want to use it in a basic CRM way, it can do that. However it also has the capability for great reporting, email sequences, automation, and looping in others.

Cons

New updates can be hard to keep up with. A lot of time reporting is best when you use Hubspot the way they designed it. For example with Lead reporting, the functionality was clunky originally so my team built a different workflow. Now they've improved it, so I have to relearn and somewhat redesign our HS.

Using HubSpot Sales has been one of the best business decisions we have made as a business, the scalability, ease of use, support and overall eco-system are easy to use straight out of the box and can only grow with you as you get used to the software. The system is incredibly userfriendly and intuitive and delivered an impact for us very quickly after implementation.

Pros

The ability to utilise sequences and snippets in the sales process was an absolute game changer for us as a business. We were able to implement our sales playbook with clearly defined stages and outcomes that could be easily implemented throughout the team literally at the touch of a button. The efficiencies that this has bought across the board has been incredible, it has also had the benefit of reducing the ramp time to effectiveness of new sales team members from approx 6 months to 2.5 months.

Cons

There is nothing I don't like about the software, the most important thing prior to rolling it out however is to make sure you have mapped out your established processes and understand how these translate into HubSpot.

The interface was far easier to understand than Salesforce and the onboarding process and ease of use for all users as well as the support from HubSpot made it an easy decision
