The experience was very frustrating, and after a month of back and forth decided to break away, and just pay the rest of the contract rather than tough it out. The losses from lost orders and customer complaints were much greater than the cost of the contract.

Pros

Sales and Onboarding staff were very courteous and professional. Onboarding meetings were held every couple of weeks and were pleasant.

Cons

Their product is sub par with a lot of bugs and glitches, their customer support is inadequate and although courteous very incapable.

To anyone in the restaurant business.... Do NOT use Chowly for your third party integration. Their system is glitchy and cost us hundreds of dollars in food that they did not charge for, even though our POS system that they integrate with had the correct pricing. They gave away FREE FOOD by not charging for items on our Third Party platforms. We did not catch it for several weeks, and after multiple attempts to resolve with Customer service, they ignored all messaging and would close our support cases without resolution. This prompted us to cancel our subscription, which we gave them a month's notice. They STILL charged us for this month and refuse to give us credit or answer any support emails regarding the charge. Do not give them your business! Please spread the word! #chowly #crooks #shadybusiness

Pros

Easily integrates into your POS. This is the ONLY positive I can say at the moment.

Cons

Terrible customer support. Poor service. Does not refund even when you follow their 30 day cancellation requirement.

The product was very useful, sales teams are unprofessional, the get you to sign but they never hold to their promises. The product is over priced comparing to competitors.Customer care they do not care and they promise to call back but they never do.

Pros

That I did not have to worry about the 3rd party applications.

Cons

Special modifications different than our POS modifications, many changes were customized.

Because they were able to integrate postmates at the time no one else did.

Fantastic!

Pros

The software is very easy to use. They are quick to respond on their text help line. The text line is very convenient.

Cons

When we first switched to chowly (at the beginning of the pandemic) they were a bit overwhelmed with the volume of business they were doing. But now they are outstanding.

Pros

This made our online ordering seamless. No more needing to manually enter all of the orders into our POSI system. Basically eliminated errors.

Cons

I wish I could do more myself without having to contact support for the most basic of changes that I need to make.
