### "Good for centralised employee information but unintuitive system"

It's good to have one system to store all employee data, however sometimes it is not the easiest to navigate and to find certain settings.

Pros

Having all employee information in one place. New chat facility is useful. Employees have said it is easy to book annual leave.

Cons

Sometimes can be unintuitive. It has been hard in the past to receive customer support but this seems to be improving.

### "Great system - all workplace needs handled in one system"

Really positive experience, as mentioned good to have everything in one place so you don't need to flick between systems. Everything managed in one place.

Pros

Great user interface. All workplace admin is accessible in one place i.e. holidays, sick days, bank holidays etc. Good to also see organisational chart in the same tool.

Cons

Nothing specifically, might be nice to link to email to receive notifications of changes, i.e. staff sick days, changes in holidays etc.

### "Happy with PeopleHR"

good, easy to use and clear to see screen. IT would be better if managers could set the number for the heat chart so it was more clear as sometimes the colour would not necessary match job roles for who can be off etc.

Pros

I liked the colour coded heat chart on the planner to see who was off and give a rough indication of whether it was a busy day for annual leave or not at a glance

Cons

when showing who is off - Have to expand the column to see if it was a half day or part day etc.. otherwise just looks like they are off for the full day

### "Ease of Use & Customer Support"

There have been times when I have had prompt response's and there have been times when I have had to chase mutiple times.

Pros

The ease of adding new starters and managing leavers. That the team can see who is on holiday and when rather than waste requests.

Cons

The amount of emails daily for notifications. This feature was turned off, but still receive numerous per day. Not easy to navigate when training. There is a notification, that team should not be able to see that appears on the screen and makes it hard for them to use the app on their phone.

### "Access People HR Review"

Overall I find Access PeopleHR to be a good system that has the right features for what we need, but there are some improvements on quality of life and using away from your desk that could be worked upon

Pros

People HR is overall very user friendly with adding in leave requests/approvals etc and performance appraisals easy to use and report on.

Cons

Some areas are still confusing to find, for example when looking for documents this can be time consuming and have you navigate from multiple screens. Perhaps a search function would be better here. Also its not very friendly on mobile devices, perhpas this needs improving or an app available

Access PeopleHR is a solid, cloud-based HR system that makes day-to-day HR tasks much smoother, especially for small-to-mid-sized businesses. It streamlines leave management, employee records, and performance tracking, freeing HR teams to focus on more strategic work. While there’s room for improvement in customization and integrations, its ease of use and affordability make it a strong choice for organizations looking to digitize HR processes.

Pros

Clean and intuitive layout makes it easy for both HR staff and employees to navigate. Employees can update personal info, request time off, view payslips, and manage documents without needing HR intervention. Stores all employee records in one secure place—contracts, appraisals, training records, etc.

Cons

The mobile experience doesn’t always match the desktop version in functionality or performance. There mobile version should match the desktop version so things can be done on the same level being as many users will prefer to use the system whilst on the go to book holidays or do other things.

### "A fit for purpose product"

My overall experience has been positive in the main. It works when I need it to work and staff also find it easy to use.

Pros

I like the ease of holiday planning and seeing when others are off. I also like how documents can be stored centrally.

Cons

I would like to be able to see indirect reports. Right now i can only see direct reports, which means i am unable to manage indirect reports when their line manager is off. Syncing of the diary to outlook could be improved too.

### "User friendly HR & ATS Solution"

We have been using PeopleHR as an HR system, as well as an ATS. The HR platform is very easy to use and makes managing employee data simple and efficient. The ATS has a lot of customizable options and again very intuitive. We were also rewarded with flexpoints for extra training sessions to help with any queries we might have.

Pros

Combines employee data, leave management, performance reviews and compliance in one system. Efficient job posting, candidate tracking and pipeline management.

Cons

Some features such as bulk uploads, as well as candidate deletion functionality are not included as standard.

### "Improving with time but needs modernising"

Improving with time but some investment into developing a more modern, user-friendly interface would be good. There is misalignment between some features - ie the logbooks are outdated, no ability to create own customisable documents and the performance management area needs an overhaul as the question format is awful.

Pros

There are a lot of useful features and like having different modules all under access group. It is being improved over time.

Cons

A lot of areas need modernising and making it more seamless but they are making progress on changes.

Overall the platform is simple and easy to navigate and integrates well with our payroll provider. The fact that it translates into many languages is a necessity for us given we have teams around the world

Pros

User-Friendly & Accessible The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for non-technical staff, which reduces the learning curve for HR teams and employees. The employee self-service portal and mobile app help staff manage their own information — e.g., leave requests and payslips — without always involving HR

Cons

The only downside is the reporting module is not always that intuitive but some of that is down to user ability rather than a problem with the platform itself!

### "Customer Service review"

I have used peopleHR for over 5 years and have continually found it a great product which is constantly updated to suit the needs of users. The reporting features are great. It has been very well accepted in all the companies I have worked for - by both staff and management. Its a great management tool

Pros

ease of use great management data love the on line chat support - which gives instant help Managers can access their staff data without having to constantly contact HR

Cons

would like to see pre built reporting difficulty resetting passwords when staff forget or get locked out

Overall, the experience has been positive - great team from start to finish. Well project managed and implemented. Our requirements were quite complex but the team were able to deliver everything we required and the staff give positive feedback about the product, which is great to hear.

Pros

Very easy to use and excellent customer support. The mobile app in particular has driven much higher adoption than any HR Product we have used before.

Cons

Some of our requirements, whilst achievable, needed to be delivered by a specialist/developer which can make things more expensive and have an impact on getting the product live.

### "Does what it says on the tin!"

Really good, structured process during set up. From the start with the sales teams, they were clear and concise in answering all questions to ensure this was the correct system for our business.

Pros

We love this system! It's easy to use and the reporting functionality is excellent. The end user app and desktop version is also really user friendly. Love the pulse survey option!

Cons

Nothing really, probably need more training but the chat bot is excellent at answering any questions.

I really like the planner section and the self service functions on the platform, from an HR admin perspective it has greatly reduced the time it takes to process changes. The reporting capabilities are great and using the ripples and log books are a fantastic feature that help automate process and freeing up time. It has an ease of use that is refreshing compared to other systems and the customer support from the initial training on going customer support and AI support are all very good. It provides value for money

I would like to be able to record phased returns on the planner and log sickness in hours and not the pre set full, half or quarter day

Time consuming getting training dates and then only finding out about ripple and the benefits of it a year nearly into signing the contract.

Pros

Easy to create reports and store information of employee details. Good to have likes of HR functions such as appraisals and probation done on the system

Cons

the look of the planner it doesnt look very user friendly and look complicated for when managers need to report absence

### "Meets the basics, could be better"

The software meets the key basics, but the support isn't great - I wasn't even sure who the account manager was until a couple of weeks ago and we still have support cases that have been outstanding for weeks

Easy to use and navigate, very good value for money in comparison to the competitors I've seen - I like the emails offering webinars etc

Cons

Doesn't have many features other than booking holiday, or if it does I am not aware of those features

### "Convenient Holiday Management, but needs a friendlier interface "

Very good, few features not great but I'm sure its a working progress. The hot sheets are quite difficult to use and not very simple. paid for training but in order to get further help with them i have to pay extra

I like the ease of everything in one platform, before people HR the company was still doing everything paper based.

Cons

Planner doesn't give very good visibility. Id like to see a week view of who is off / month not just day to day

Easy to use, support available , friendly team. Easy how to guides. Good value for money, our employees find it easy to use and we have teams in UK and Europe.

Cons

When a holiday is deleted theres no trace of who deleted it, the training section is minimal, it would be good if you can upload videos for the employee to watch and sign off

Basically, installing this is the first time that our HR has been well managed. It's changed us from being messy, disorganised and possibly in some instances non compliant to having a professional approach. Fantastic investment, wish we'd made it earlier.

Pros

Love this - really intuitive to use, straightforward login (no endless faffing around with passwords), and does everything we need in one neat place. And a special shout out for the Leaving Wizard, which is a godsend!

Cons

Too many reminders to try the extension tools - I'm happy with the core product and don't need anything else.

PeopleHR can be slow on occasion, especially with the new version. However, overall I would say it is a well put together system and is incredibly useful.

Pros

It provides access to all the necessary information to complete my tasks. It organises the information in a way that prevents me from going back and fourth

Cons

The function of the Applicant Tracking System, it does not meet all the requirements needed to properly track candidates.

Pros

The system is easy to use, and the webchat support is particularly helpful for getting quick answers to any issues that arise. The reporting function is also reliable and works well for our needs.

Cons

It can feel a little clunky at times, but overall it still offers good value for money. Despite occasional usability frustrations, the system provides nearly everything we need to operate effectively on a day-to-day basis.

### "Not satisfactory "

I had trouble building a relationship with the Access team. When I have queried things I received poor service.

Pros

The price point. I do not really like the system many things need to be updated. The new employee page and playlist look good but its not yet fully developed.

Cons

The system has an error every time I login. The data drivers don't always do what I need. We cannot use the payroll systems as the time sheets do not drive through yet.
