Pros I'm an SEO consultant, and for me is very useful to know which kind of technologies do my prospects use. Wapallyzer allows me to know in 10 seconds which kind of platforms they use and that makes me win a lot of time. Cons That I need to pay to get the contact information. This is a great tool to get a brief look of technology stacks of website, but not for an elaborate reporting on the strategizing and monitoring. The extension is super helpful. Pros I use the extension feature of this tool almost on a daily basis. It is very efficient and reliable. When I compared the results of this tool with my own research, it matched 100%. Reliability is an important factor on which this tool has maintained it's consistency. Cons Some technologies which are highlighted are not detailed further in this tool. Suppose a website uses JavaScript, it does not highlight it's version everytime. Also, it doesn't compare the version of the technology the website is using with the latest version, or any security implications in it. It provides an overview, not a detailed report on analysis. Pros The list-making filters that are available and knowledge of the appearance of the outcomes This enables me to assess whether my criteria are sound and whether I will obtain the desired outcomes.I adore how simple it is to use Wappalyzer to find customer tech stacks and explore it. Chrome extensions are primarily used by me to browse the web quickly and find possible clients. Cons Although I wouldn't call this a drawback, it is expensive to pay credits for just a tiny sampling of the data or the entire list. If the fee weren't so costly, I would use this excellent competitive analysis much more frequently. I believe that Wappalyzer now has a credit payment option so that you can use it as needed rather than committing to a full plan. I believe it makes a lot more sense since, although I enjoy using this tool, I don't necessarily require it all the time; rather, I just use it when I'm conducting research. It is the software you didn’t know how much you needed. Cons While there are some features available at no cost, full access can seem pricey but in exchange for what you have access to, it can prove far more valuable.
