Snapchat for Business is definitely worth considering for us as part of our social media management plan. It does require continuous monitoring as there may be problems, but the benefit of being able to amplify campaigns to reach particular demographics is worth the while. Its strong suit is in staying abreast of trends, which is important in the broadcast realm. Customer support is helpful when required, but is able to respond faster in urgent periods.

Pros

Snapchat for Business has been an amazing platform for us to interact with younger consumer base, particularly in our station's marketing efforts and the personalities that reveal on-air. They can experiment with hashtags and trends that would keep our content relevant and it has been consistent with the ad targeting options. Our listeners have really liked the promotions that we make because of the features such as geofilters that allow us to create localized promotions based on live events.

Cons

The learning curve was larger than anticipated, especially knowing how to take advantage of the Snapchat content format best. Occasional issues do arise such as failure of the filters to load properly or adverts not appearing for certain demographics. Although not common, these bugs can cause problems with campaigns. There may be more clarity in the pricing for the highest tiers, particularly with smaller markets.

I use Snapchat to edit photos not to use it for business, I've tried for business but it didn't work out, so I've installed it for my kids for only editing photos

Cons

Nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva. Snapchat for Business è uno strumento valido per campagne di brand awareness e per raggiungere un target specifico, soprattutto under 35. Richiede un po’ di pratica per ottenere buoni risultati, ma una volta compreso il funzionamento offre buone opportunità di visibilità e creatività.

Pros

La possibilità di raggiungere un pubblico giovane e molto coinvolto è sicuramente il principale punto di forza. Le opzioni di targeting sono interessanti e i formati pubblicitari sono creativi e diversi dai classici annunci social. Buona anche la visibilità del brand e l’impatto delle campagne, soprattutto per awareness.

Cons

La piattaforma non è sempre immediata da usare, soprattutto per chi è alle prime armi. Alcuni aspetti della gestione delle campagne e del reporting potrebbero essere più semplici e intuitivi. Inoltre, rispetto ad altri canali pubblicitari, l’ottimizzazione richiede un po’ più di tempo e test.

I had an overall general good time using the software because I was able to sell Alot within my business. I also loved when they gave me the free ad credit for buy credits.

Pros

What I liked the most about snapchat for business was that, I was able to run certain kinds of ads on the platform as needed.

Cons

The one thing I did not like about snapchat for business was the fact that there was no way to tell if your audience is really watching your snap Ads videos or not.

Snapchat seems to be an app that anybody can easily access and use making communication easy and dependable.
