Overall it has been a huge piece of growing our small business. There are some nuances to figure out (such as views and making sure we reach our target market) but overall great product

We love the ability to create a lot of content for free and reach local and non local audiences. We use it to advertise & keep our current customers engaged

Cons

The algorithms seem to change frequently and it seems like our content doesn’t get shown to most of our followers

Instagram helps me immensely with gaining exposure to new clients and other professionals for my business as a petsitter/dogwalker.

Pros

I like that instagram is free, easy to use, integrates with my Facebook page, and works great as social media for promoting my business. It is also a great way to discover and connect with other professionals in my area.

Cons

I find the algorithms show me the same content over and over again. I would also prefer to see more of the content of people I choose to follow and less influencer content.

Overall, I would describe my experience with Instagram as very positive. I get a lot of use from it, and I'll continue to use it for as long as it remains the high quality app that I know it to be.

Pros

I would consider Instagram as a high quality app, both in the product itself and how much use I get out of it. It is easy to use when uploading and searching, plus I like how you're also able to get recommendations from it. As far as social media goes, I would consider Instagram to be my #1.

Cons

As much as I like being able to have new features in order to do new things in the app, I would say Instagram updates its app with a lot of new features very often, and most of the time, without warning or new training in how to use or navigate your way through the updated version. Most of the time, you do have to figure out how the new updates work or where everything is.

I love how easy it is to use especially for beginners and also the fact that it suggests to you accounts of people you might know which helps to find your friends

We used instagram as a the main piece of our social branding campaign. Both to post shots of our process and also to accounce promotions and new products. We have also tried boosting posts and paying for visibility. Recently we have neglected continuing to build our profile but it has been circled as a point of focus for 2026

Pros

Gives us an easy platform to share what is happening at our roastery - announce new products and interact with our customers.

Cons

The algorithm has changed quite a bit since starting with the app and we've found it a lot more challenging to reach out customers with how instagram now organizes new posts and content.

I have used Instagram since I was in high school and I really like using it. As an adult I feel like I post on there less however I like the option that I have to share things that I have been doing with friends and family.

Pros

Instagram is a free way to share pictures and videos with the world. I personally only share with family and friends however I how many people who use Instagram to post business advertisements to help boost their personal revenue. Instagram is so easy to use however if you are using it for business then it has social media management options that allows you to schedule posts in advance. Instagram has recently improved the option that you have for your own profile you can pair with other apps to create special posts and add music to your photos.

Cons

There really is nothing that I do not like about the way that Instagram is however with every social media app or website you need to be careful with who you are friends with, scammers, and what you post.

My experience with Instagram is nothing but Amazing. As a social media platform and primarily a Photo sharing app, i can post photos, share photos and create a visual portfolio that tells my story in an appealing fashion on my page. Furthermore, i can send messages to my list of friends, brands or other creators allowing me to seamlessly communicate with others. Overall, i highly Rate Instagram and i recommend it to others.

Pros

What i like most about Instagram is the reels feature that allows the creation of short videos. Short videos are entertaining and engaging and i can add effects, such as music and filters to make my video more appealing. Furthermore, i can cross-post my reels to Facebook and the threads App for further reach.

Cons

As a photo sharing app i love everything about Instagram and it meets all my needs and i highly recommend it to others.

Pros

Instagram is visually appealing, easy to use, and allows me to share my photography work with my followers and other users on the app. I use features like the Explore page and Stories on a regular basis. Quick interactions through likes, comments, and DMs allow me to stay connected with my followers in an easy and interactive way.

Cons

The algorithm is probably the worst feature of the app. It makes it difficult to see posts from friends while prioritizing ads and suggested content instead. Organic reach seems to be declining as well, unless you boost your post in order to reach more people, particularly your followers.
