Intuitive and the user interface is easy to use. Cons it allows negative when NetSuite does not - this causes some issues. Directed counts cause massive issues when not counted as it does not zero out the line. Users dont like that they cannot open two windows at a time on a gun. The WMS is amazing. We created enough efficiency to be able to complete projects, that were perpetually on the back burner, due to the lack of time we had to finish them. Pros RF-SMART was easy to set up and integration was seamless. Best part is the increase of efficiency. Working with several WMS software previously, RF-SMART is by far one of the easiest to use and understand. Configurations and modifications are also user friendly. The set up makes trouble shooting very easy. Cons We had a pen and paper approach when we integrated. The difference was a complete 180. We have no true cons for the WMS software. Despite our implementation woes, the company has been great to us since then. We are always looking for ways to grow our relationship with RF-Smart to better automate our warehouse and manufacturing operations. Pros RF-Smart's software has helped us solve automation issues in areas of NetSuite that don't fit to our needs. We use the base functionality for Inventory Management, Sales Order Picking, and Purchase Order Receiving. In the nearly three years of service, we have encountered few, if any, bugs or issues with this functionality. We have also worked with RF-Smart to build several customized functions to fit our Work Order assembly needs. The team has been easy to work with during intial design, bug reporting, and additive requests. The user interface is simplistic but easy to navigate. We have encountered very few issues with RF-Smart's native functionality. Cons Our original implementation could have gone smoother. It was difficult to get responses in a timely manner from the Implementation team as they were constantly out of the office with other customers. The system has driven process discipline and allowed us to better manage resources and data in real time. Overall, RF-SMART has been a game-changer for our warehouse operations. Pros RF-SMART has greatly improved traceability throughout our warehouse operations, allowing us to track lot numbers and inventory movement with precision. The ability to print multiple License Plates (LPs) directly within the Receive Order function has streamlined our receiving process and reduced delays. Additionally, the LP put-away function has significantly increased both operational efficiency and inventory accuracy, enabling more structured storage and faster retrieval of materials. Cons One of the key limitations we encountered was the absence of a directed put-away function. This feature would have allowed us to automate bin assignments based on rules such as zone, item type, or bin availability, further optimizing our warehouse flow and reducing reliance on manual decision-making. It’s been a much better fit. Our team of 20 users finds it more intuitive and reliable—tasks like sales order picking are now much more efficient. The RF-SMART onboarding and support teams have been helpful and responsive throughout the process. We’re currently preparing to implement Pick Planner and are optimistic it will add even more value. Pros Not sure what we would do without RF-Smart. We implemented concurrently with NetSuite, so we don't have much to gauge the product against. This solution works much better than our predecessor. Cons I wish there were a way to show the count of orders in the picking queues. That aside, the product continues to improve, with each upgrade adding functionality that becomes increasingly essential to our daily processes. I've been a part of SAP, Atlas(a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club created WMS), and several others and it's extremely gratifying to be a part of the process so that you know this product is catered to your specific needs. Pros The product has the capability to be customized for whatever use case is needed making it extremely user friendly Cons Nothing really negative. It can be frustrating since the product is being developed but keeping that in mind, when you face any obstacles the RF-Smart team has always been extremely helpful in coming to a solution or providing a work-around until the obstacle is removed. Pros The ability to provide real-time visibility into the movement of items. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for staff to learn and use. Additionally, the ability to customize RF-SMART to align with our specific business processes, enabling us to tailor the system to meet unique operational requirements. Cons One challenge we’ve faced with RF-SMART is the printer setup. Because we operate across multiple sites with a large number of printers, having the option to easily connect USB printers directly to the system would have made the setup considerably simpler for our use case. Additionally, we occasionally experience unexpected failures e.g. with pick/pack. When we attempt to replicate the issue in a sandbox environment, everything works as expected. Then retrying the same action in production works, which makes troubleshooting sometimes difficult to diagnose. For whatever concern, question, need that we could have, RF-SMART always provides a solution. Additionally, the support team is ideal with prompt and detailed responses. Pros The top benefit to RF-SMART WMS is the ease of use. Because of how user-friendly RF-SMART is for warehouse management, it has been the easiest to get the team onboard with using. The ease of use factor also makes changes, optimizations, and added bundles that much simpler to implement. Cons Generally, there is not much that we dislike about RF-SMART. I will say, the configuration tends to be tricky, but all in all, I guess the only complaint we could have is the price. With that being said, who wouldn't want to pay less and save money?
