They offer a huge variety of restaurants in the area. I can award my coworker with a nice lunch delivered to her home office while we practice social distancing and hold business meetings online. Pros That I can plan for events and order the menu items from GrubHub anytime before the event or luncheon. If an item is missing or the wrong item delivered, GrubHub quickly refunds you the cost of that item. Cons I like least that there is no place to enter a general message prior to sending the order to GrubHub. When ordering for a lot of people, there are inevitable changes and requests and it would be helpful to have a section to include that information. Review Source MZ Michael Z. I placed an order for lunch about 9is in the am. I get a message from them at 11:50am that my order was cancelled. No real explanation. I am at work and have no way of leaving, so I was left with no lunch. To make things even worse, they send me a $5 off coupon that has to be used today. This is only the second attempt at their service and both were horrible. First one my order was late and the driver explained to me that this happens if another order comes in before they get to me and if they are closer, they get their order before I get mine. I'm glad I'm on a free trial with Amazon (I will be letting Amazon know they are using a horrible company) otherwise I would have been even more upset. When I tried to order from somewhere else, it was well over an hour and past my lunch time. Thanks for ruining my lunch for me GrubHub. I will never use your service and for sure make sure I let everyone know how horrible your service is. I would use it again. Pros GrubHub was the first food delivery service I tried. The ease of ordering and the clear definition of what you get with each vendor was something I liked. Cons I got a completely wrong order a couple of times. This is probably not the fault of the app, but of the kitchen staff or driver. However, GrubHub did work with me when I called customer service one of the times. Pros I love the amount of different restaurants that are nearby and listed, I loved being able to filter orders as well. Cons It can be very slow to load, especially on the mobile version, and I don't often see any updates to menus when new items are added at different restaurants. Has integrations with almost all the restaurants 2. Reliable ordering and payment processing 3. Good customer service for issues with orders like late or wrong or not good 4. Grubhub plus is a good addition for less money providing lot of premium features and reduced service rates and free delivery Cons 1\. I can easily hop on the app and order food to my doorstep in minutes. Super convenient and easy to use, especially since the pandemic. Cons Sometimes I'm frustrated with the fees. Seem to be excessive sometimes. I've also had restaurants not available to me during normal business hours. Might be an error on the restaurant side of things and not Grubhub though. There was a decent selection of places to choose from for food delivery. Cons I almost always had a bad experience. The last few times I ordered, the order arrived much later than promised by the delivery service and the food was cold by the time I got it. I also had a lot of issues of the order not being correct. I don't mind using either GrubHub or UberEats, however I keep using UberEats as it's app is easier to use, and I can apply the giftcard easily. Pros There is an option for a pick up for the food, which I don't have with my UberEats app. Pre ordering function is very easy compared to UberEats' Cons I tried to use a giftcard given by my colleague, and it was very hard to use with phone app-eventually I needed to use my desk top PC. Pros I like the different selections I have to order food. Cons My orders have never been correct, and always 2-3 hours late. When I contact customer service they tell me I can’t cancel because the food was already ready. No redunds. It is easy to give a tip to your driver. Customer service is very good a resolving issues. There is a large variety of places to chose from. Cons sometimes there is a hard time finding drivers. Pros Easy to use, stores my information to make ordering quick. Cons The app works better on my phone that on my PC.
