Pros

Das Software Dashboard mit den Anbindungsmöglichkeiten an verschiedene Systeme ist wirklich gut gemacht.

Cons

Im Herbst '23 haben wir endlich unseren Versanddienstleister gewechselt und sind nicht mehr bei byrd. Beim neuen Anbieter sieht man, wie es funktionieren kann. Bei byrd waren wir insgesamt ca. 1 Jahr. Im Prinzip hat es sich durchgezogen vom schlechten Onboarding, bis zur Qualität der Verpackung, falscher uneffizienter und teurer Verpackung der Ware usw. Wir waren eigentlich ständig im Austausch weil irgendetwas reklamiert werden musste. Im Mai wurde in der Abrechnung dann plötzlich die Preise erhöht ohne vorige Ankündigung - "ups, haben wir vergessen mitzuteilen". Byrd hat dann erstmal richtig reagiert und die Preise erst zwei Monate später erhöht. Allerdings gibt es jetzt Ärger wegen dieser Rechnung, weil byrd es seit dem nicht schafft, eine Rechnung mit nachvollziehbaren und korrekten Zahlen zuzuschicken und wir diese deshalb nicht bezahlen. Anstatt, dass von byrd eine korrekte Rechnung geschickt wird (es kommt mit jeder Rechnung eine Excel Tabelle um die Rechnung zu prüfen - eine Änderung mit richtigen Zahlen ist in 5 Minuten erledigt), beauftragen sie nun ein Inkassounternehmen. Das ist jetzt im Nachgang noch die Krönung auf den miserablen Service! Wir raten daher dringend ab, mit dieser Firma zusammen zu arbeiten. Es gibt genug andere seriöse und erfahrene Fulfillment Dienstleister!

We have been working with Byrd for almost three years. While there were some issues during the first 18 months, overall it was a positive experience due to our account manager.In the past year, things have gotten much worse.Byrd has moved our warehouse locations on two separate occasions, causing disruptions in fulfillment. On the more recent switch, they lost product during the move.More concerning, their warehouse has continued to make massive mistakes that have cost our company tens of thousands of dollars.In the past month, there have been (at least) three shipments sent to Byrd where their warehouse did not count the product, even though counting was required. For two of these shipments, we have now been unable to locate the missing product for over a month, causing massive issues with our customer service.The warehouse also has mixed up SKUs on several occasions, sending the wrong product to customers. We've seen an increase in damages and poor packaging as well.During the holiday season, the warehouse took over a month to inbound one of our shipments and created massive customer service issues with their inability to ship products according to their SLAs.Many of these issues have been brought up many times, and every time Byrd works to address just the individual issue rather than the root cause, making these things happen again and again.While the customer support team at Byrd is very nice, they have no ability to actually solve problems and the logist

Pros

If you have a product already at the warehouse and a customer orders that product, things run fairly smoothly.

Cons

Warehouses do not count inventory and mix up SKUs often. It is impossible to get a problem solved because no one on the team actually works in the warehouse and does not understand how to correctly fix operations.

Ich kann nicht anders, als meine Wut und Enttäuschung zum Ausdruck zu bringen, nachdem ich die äußerst schlechte Erfahrung mit Byrd, dem Versanddienstleister für E-Commerce-Stores, gemacht habe. Ich rate dringend davon ab, diesen Dienst in Anspruch zu nehmen!Erstens sind die Versandpreise bei Byrd extrem teuer. Man sollte meinen, für diese horrenden Preise würde man eine erstklassige Servicequalität erwarten können, doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall.Zweitens wird man nachträglich mit zusätzlichen Forderungen konfrontiert, die absolut ungerechtfertigt sind. Das Unternehmen schafft es, einem das Geld förmlich aus der Tasche zu ziehen, indem es immer wieder neue Kostenpunkte erfindet.Drittens werden falsche Rechnungen verschickt, die in keiner Weise den tatsächlichen Leistungen entsprechen, die man in Anspruch genommen hat. Das ist nicht nur ärgerlich, sondern auch extrem unprofessionell.Die Kommunikation mit dem Kundenservice ist die reinste Katastrophe. Man wird von einem Mitarbeiter zum nächsten weitergereicht, ohne jemals eine zufriedenstellende Antwort oder Lösung zu erhalten. Das ganze Unternehmen wirkt chaotisch und unorganisiert.Um es zusammenzufassen: Byrd ist ein Versanddienstleister, der seine Kunden mit Wucherpreisen abzockt, ungerechtfertigte Forderungen stellt und falsche Rechnungen verschickt. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht und wütend über diesen schlechten Service und rate jedem, der sein Geld nicht zum Fenster hinauswerfen möchte, dringend davon ab, Byrd als

Nachteile:Überteuerte Versandpreise: Die Versandkosten sind unverhältnismäßig hoch und stehen in keinem Verhältnis zur gebotenen Servicequalität.Ungerechtfertigte Forderungen: Byrd stellt im Nachhinein weitere, unbegründete Forderungen, die dem Kunden zusätzliche Kosten verursachen.Falsche Rechnungen: Das Unternehmen verschickt inkorrekte Rechnungen, die nicht den tatsächlichen Leistungen entsprechen.Schlechter Kundenservice: Die Kommunikation mit dem Kundenservice ist problematisch, und es ist schwierig, zufriedenstellende Antworten oder Lösungen zu erhalten.Chaotische Organisation: Byrd wirkt insgesamt unorganisiert und chaotisch, was das Vertrauen in die Professionalität des Unternehmens stark beeinträchtigt.

At the time we signed with Byrd, they seemed like an ideal local solution, as the inventory/shipping portal was intuitive and they had more history working in Europe than many other companies. What we failed to realize was that they had limited understanding of our business needs as a US-based e-commerce company with a single product expanding into EU and UK markets. They have a LOT of work left to do to climb the learning curve, and while everyone at the company is kind and nice, I have not seen the kind of enthusiastic energy, consistency and proactive problem-solving necessary to keep our business once our contract expires, let alone be the premier fulfillment partner in Europe. It's been surprising they've received so much venture capital; as a former institutional investor, there are red flags everywhere.

Pros

The portal itself is fairly intuitive. The pick & pack fees are reasonable (though I'm not convinced they've negotiated terrific rates with carriers).

Cons

We've had challenges EVERY step of the way. From setting up our portals, to how we are charged, to our relationship management. In fact, this last step has been the most frustrating. The communication has been spotty and not proactive. We have to ask multiple times for changes or for fixes to their software, and then we have to check to make sure they've done what they said they will. We've been blown away by how frustrating the onboarding was and how many mistakes were made.
