Pros

This is a grod solution for insurance firms because it gives us the ability to keep all our client file in one space that’s right at the tips of your fingers and is so easy to navigate. We can also easily find the policy details as well as attach documents and emails to it. We also appreciate the fact that reports based certain parameters be quickly generated and is very clear.

Cons

There are some instances where a certain field may not be necessary or applicable to some plans, but the program still requires you to fill it out. So I hope they add an option for indicating that.

Bad, disappointing, deflating. On boarding process is long and difficult.

Pros

There was not much I like and as I try to separate myself from them, there is even less. There was a lot of information.

Cons

\- its like they are always trying to upsell something. - no ease of use, very difficult platform, not intuitive - more for benefits brokers - not for general HR professionals - they just want your money - most of what is on the platform can be easily found for no charge - hard to get a question answered - no straight answers - deceptive

Account Rep didn't respond for over a month. Their stance: you're stuck with our contract, just pay.

Pros

We used Insurance Pro for years without issue, then a pushy sales rep switched us to Agency Matrix which lacks features than we need and is cluttered with ones we don't,

Cons

Sharp increase of 45% this year between AM and ITC - no warning, just a new invoice from a diff email that landed in spam.

I get get accord forms easy. besides that not much.

Cons

Its to busy. No training. took months for them to set up.

### "Zywave Agency Management - Customer Service tanked after Zywave bought Partner XE"

As of the posting of this review, we still have a current active paid Zywave AMS account, as well as the new AMS account, because until we get the backup copy, data we need is inside the Zywave AMS. Zywave has kept our agency client data hostage for almost 2 months which is a terrible business practice but one in which they can choose to engage in as the holder of your data. If you are ever thinking about purchasing Zywave as your AMS, I would strongly urge you to reconsider as you are knowingly putting your owned data at risk of not being released. The file format that Zywave (Partner XE) holds your data in is also already not in the most useful formats for most other AMS systems. If you have another leading AMS provider, I c an state that moving to Zywave from another provider will be a step back in the quality and integrity of the data files you already have. Moving from Zywave to another provider will either provide you with equally quality files or better quality files for your go-forward data.

Pros

The software was simplistic, easy to understand, at an affordable rate with great customer service when it was owned by Partner XE. Partner XE sold the AMS to Zywave in the fall of 2022.

Cons

Customer service plummeted and we could go days and weeks without replies to emails, support tickets or calls.We paid $300 for a test database backup initially. The cost for getting a "full and complete" data backup was reasonable at $1,000 and we signed the agreement and paid the $1,000. However when we received the data backup copy a week later than they promised, they sent only a partial backup with missing files. We brought this to their attention and did not get a reply for several days. When they did reply, they stated the new AMS needed to 1st verify that the files were actually missing, which the new AMS did. After that was completed, which took a week and verified the files folders referenced were empty folders (sending screen shots to Zywave) so not a complete data backup, Zywave then ignored the follow up requests to send the full backup copy. When asked again and again for a new complete data backup of our agency data, Zywave customer service, \[sensitive content hidden\] at Zywave (SIS) just ignored the requests to resend the full data backup. We have tried every contact email we can find to get someone who will respond. At the time of this review, Zywave has technically kept a large segment of our agency client data hostage for almost 2 months.

Reason for choosing Zywave Agency Management

When it was Partner XE it was simple, easy to use, with a month-to-month contract and immediate and knowledgeable customer service responses. That only changed after Partner XE was bought by Zywave. We only decided to cancel and move to another AMS after the customer service issues began fall of 2022.

Pros

NONE They took over Rate Factory (BAIT) and then switched us to Zywave that doesn't work. They just want money and don't provide a workable product.

DOESNT WORKZYWAVE - STAY AWAY!! Total Bait and Switch company. STAY AWAY!! Total Bait and Switch company. I have been in the insurance business for over 35 years and NEVER experienced this type of behavior from any of our vendors! Originally we were told that this product would meet our needs. It is nothing that we have signed up for and then the company said the product would meet our needs and when we tried the new product that they changed us to and it did not meet our needs at all. Therefore we have not used it since because we can not use it. Therefore we have no contract. I am requesting a refund of my money and request that they stop billing me. We had to go hire a different vendor during open enrollment and thankfully they met our needs and do not bait and switch like these scammers do.

Limelight was amazing! The most wonderful people ever! However they stopped working with independent agents and only work with large insurers. Miss them so much! Then looked online and came in touch with these scammers at ZYWAVE and it has been the WORST experience of my 35 years in the industry.

Trying to onboard was a fiasco. It took weeks and money spent and hours on phone trying to onboard. Finally gave up and contract cancelled but still waiting for the last month refund promised and it’s been over 90 days.

Pros

In the auto demo everything worked and it appeared efficient.

Cons

Once needed for property, it does not work the way the auto does. Also you have to build the NAIC codes and carriers within the database. Most software companies already have that built in.

Don't walk but run from. Doing business with them. It has been terrible no one will call you back. Always leave a message and we will call you back in 48 hours. I can't wait for 48 hours and run my business.

Pros

1 star is much too generous for this company. I have had this company for 15 years and it is the worst company I have had to deal with. Three weeks shy of the sale of my agency, they turn off my management system and extort and force another full year contract and increase the price by 400 a month. Lie, steal and blackmail.

Cons

The account executive lies, over promises and under delivers. of the sale of my agency, they turn off my management system and extort and force another full year contract and increase the price by 400 a month.

As long as they get Rackspace replaced, or at least to fix their issues, they do a pretty good on with everything. The original customer service rep leaved something to be desired but that is common in most industries, the 2nd line of customer service was a excellent and went above and beyond.

Pros

Great follow up ~ A supervisor called back to fix the original issues and then again he next day with more info on how we could solve a related problem that had nothing to do with them

Cons

They are still working with Rackspace, a third party vender that just sucks, they are in the process of trying to replace them finally.

Ease of using system, and my original sales rep, \[sensitive content hidden\] she is the best and we always felt comfortable with her. Maybe she with here skills to communicate respectfully to the clients, should be leading this company

Cons

Billing, and billing, and billing, and also attitudes of \[sensitive content hidden\] they seem to careless about how to resolve issues with their clients when they clearly have liability here. They have an attitude of take or leave it, and have no clue on or desire to retain customers. We offered to work them and we also tried to call them, and they hide behind their emails, and never answer calls or return calls. They must think they are the only player in this space, or they walk on water and are too good to help resolve issues. Stay far away here....

Absolutely terrible. I have been in business for over 15 years and never had a worse experience.

Pros

This company is Satan on earth. Their contracts are designed to trick you into long term contracts. Apparently, their product is not sufficient to retain clients so they write their contracts to lock you in.

Cons

They require that you give a long notice in advance of termination. If you aren't within that time period they want to send you to collection and hit you with exorbitant charges. They are Satan on earth.

We learn from our mistakes of taking the bait from their sales team. I should have known out the gate when I told the sales guy what I needed for a CRM, and instantly he starts trying to sell everything else.

Pros

The overall look of the system and what appeared to be a smoother system than the previous systems we were using.

Cons

the implementation of the system. its been months of back and forth, and still unable to use the system for the functions its intended to use.

I liked the overall look of their system. What I thought was going to be easier to use. Little did I know you have to be a programmer and have a lot of time on your hands to implement the entire system to your CRM. I DO NOT recommend this product to any agency that is up and running and switching to a new CRM, as you will not have time to create everything needed for the system.

### "Avoid Zywave - You've been warned"

I don't have anything positive to say. I wish I had read the Better Business Bureau reviews for Zywave before signing an agreement. So many companies having the same issues... It's been a complete waste of money. To me, it feels like they're stealing from me every month I see the money come out of my account. Do not get taken in by the slick sales and bold promises.

Pros

The sales people were likable. But they vastly oversold the product. I liked my implementation person. But the product was never set up so we could use the product...

Cons

They will sell you. Sell, sell, sell. They'll give you examples of how the marketing will look when white labeled. Then they have you sign a contract. Then you go into implementation only to discover the product doesn't work as sold and you realize you can't use it. You'll ask to have your contract cancelled. And they will flat our refuse and insist you have to complete all payments, whether or not you're using the system. So unprofessional to hide behind the contract, with no grace period, and no lemon laws in insurance software. Horrible.

Pros

The only pro's really is that Agency Matrix is pretty good on its own.

Cons

Zywave itself is the major Con. Since their ownership, support has dwindled to almost nothing. Phone support is never available. The chat folks refer you to support articles. If you choose to send an email, it takes days to get a reply ... Or months as happened to me once. These guys make the DMV seem like a fun place to visit.

From the begining the experience has been unprofessional. The integration with the company I'm with and that they bought has been very poorly executed.

Pros

Nothing about Zywave. They bought the company we were with.

Cons

Customer Service is the worst. They are good sending emails but don't execute what they say except collecting their payment.

They bought out Agency Matrix and we were heavily invested with them. So we had to stay. Looking for options.

I have never been so mislead and received such horrible customer service as I have from Zywave. Their motto is definitely buyer beware. I was told I should have done my homework, I jsut the days of someone telling you the truth is gone. I would never recommand them to anyone. Now I am stuck paying for one system that does not work for my agency and a management system for 5 users when I only have 3 now but they will not adjust the price.

Pros

Nothing, the worst customer service I have ever had.

Cons

Service and people who work there. You are treated horrible once they get their signed contract.

Dreadful. The platform is not easy, not simple, its uber expensive, they lock you into long term contracts, they don't service you nor assist in education post on-boarding. Stay clear of Zywave. We have been in the benefits business for over 20 years and we will never engage nor use anything in the Zywave portfolio again.

Pros

The first month when they loved us and we were new - they helped us engage and build the product. The only other times they really truly engaged with us was right about time for our renewal. Otherwise, customer service was limited to no existent.

Cons

Massive. Too big. Too segmented. Always had to buy something else. Could never test drive a process nor product. Limited limited limited customer service. Sales reps are used call sales people using bait sales tactics.

Company rep called & made it sound so easy. He let me pick my date of conversion, but it didn't happen .I wasted 2800 for software that im not using, The conversion did not happen on the date stated & all info that is was going to manually input on8-15-22 has be back logged.

### "Take the work out of marketing distributions and information guides"

Pros

When trying to explain a type of coverage to a new client, I love that I can search through Brokerage Builder's vast library of informational guides and send off a handful of easy to understand, visibly appealing and fully branded documents in only a few clicks. The resources are straightforward, simple and easy to understand. We also use their video links and articles for our social media and blog sites.

Cons

If you are looking for more complex, in-depth materials, you may not find them here. I find that while the guides and info on Broker Briefcase is easy to understand, it only scratches the surface on coverage information and risk management guides. Still, easier than making your own!
