The mobile app works great too, so I can take work calls anywhere. Admin dashboard is simple to manage users and numbers, and the pricing is competitive for what you get. Cons The call quality can get spotty when internet is unstable, and there's no fallback to cellular, which is frustrating during important calls. International calling rates are expensive, and SMS is limited compared to competitors. It was fairly easy to set up and is a breeze to use. Once the client was downloaded to my machine, I put it in the startup so it is ready as soon as my computer boots up. It's very easy to use. Considering the competition, this is far easier to use than any others I've used and far less expensive. Pros VoIP. It works across apps, while sitting at my desk, or on the road on my cell phone. It takes voice and video and integrates well into the Zoom family. Cons I really have few complaints. Perhaps a wish: I wish that it could automatically screen out robo and fake calls. We had plastic Cisco phones on everyone's desk and switched them to a VOIP phone. We expected pushback from the employees, but they have loved it from the beginning. Having the flexibility to add the Zoom phone app on your mobile device and make work calls from your personal device but not expose your personal phone number is a huge win. Pros Very user friendly on the admin side. You can build and adjust call queues within minutes. You can assign and remove licenses when needed. When transferring calls you can do it by extension or you can look up the persons name to transfer. You can also easily check call quality on the admin dashboard. Cons There isn't a search feature on the admin portal. So if you are looking to adjust a feature that you don't use very often you typically have to Google where it is located. It would save a ton of time if they added a basic search to the admin portal. April 24, 2025 4.0 Sometime folks get a little grainy but if we are not screensharing and I am able to hear them, this is no problem. It is easy to navigate between video chats, message boards, screen sharing, out of the app if I need to without disrupting my call or meeting. Pros Sound quality is always great and clear. Pros What I like most about zoom is that it's free for everyone to be able to use unless you'd like to upgrade and the connection is very clear and the interface is extremely easy to understand. Part of our org still uses a different provider due to contract ties but i am evaluating moving whole org to Zoom in the next fiscal year. Pros I've used almost all leading UCaaS vendors, and what i like about zoom is its ability to monitor a line without needing for an active live call. CEO Real Estate Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Complete Train Wreck" January 9, 2024 1.0 We were double billed at the beginning and when we requested the second account be closed, it was set to cancelation pending and never changed or refunded. When we attempted call tickets they were never answered. When I called, I would hold from 30-45 minutes each call and several times my call was dropped once answered and I would have to start the process over again. The customer service reps were not fluent in English and read standard responses from a notebook, none of which actually addressed our issues. There was no way to escalate and when we finally received follow ups they still did not address the issues or answer the questions. Pros We were pleased to be given the option of using a phone app instead of standard desk phones given the nature of our business. Cons The setup process was confusing, call routing and other functions very unclear and hard to set up, customer service completely non-existent.
