### "Hibu Improved Our Online Presence"

Pros

Hibu's "Listings Management" tool allows me to easily update my company contact info, hours of operation and important information with a few clicks and that seamlessly updates all over the internet (google, yelp, random sites). Real time review notifications are also extremely helpful. I no longer have to physically monitor the internet searching for company reviews. When a guest posts a review I immediately receive an email and text so that I can respond in real time.

Cons

I'm pleased with 100% of the functions of Hibu that my business uses.

Hibu has a great sales pitch and horrible execution. They train their employees to stay uneducated. I have a background in digital marketing and pay per click and they set us up with a 30 dollar a day max campaign in an industry that spends 30 dollars a click. They lied to my ca e about their experience within the industry and beat practices and too. Our money and ran. My rep was an incredible rep ten years ago. She seems to be more interested in a comfortable salary and bonus structure than having a commitment to local businesses. So sad the way that these companies think they can continue to get away with these type of relationships when digital Marketing is going to be all but taken over by AI in the next five years. They’ll be out of business in ten years. Guaranteed.

Pros

Ease of use of platform. I have nothing else to say. They’ve invested in a bunch of shiny platform modules that do nothing for the average business owner. It’s shiny and convoluted data that makes a brand new business feel like they’re doing something enterprise and allows Hibu to direct strategy calls and make favorable callouts to themselves, instead of giving transparent acces to. Google dashboard or anything of actual use. This company suuuuuuuuuuucks.

Cons

Commitment to service and transparency from sales reps and strategists alike. Unresponsive KY reps. I worked for Hibu for a short amount of time. They experience incredibly high turnover and they blast their new employees through training that doesn’t even give them an opportunity to consider if they’re a good match for the role. This company wants people to go are ready to scam small businesses. They have about a 50/50 shot at producing leads for a company and they bank on that business model and have no conscience of the customers they burn. They don’t allow you to directly review them on their site or on Google because their reputation is terrible. Chat GPT breaks them down as a poor provider. These guys have been through tons of corporate acquisitions and they gaslight the absolute shit out of people on digital strategy. I would be somberassed to still be working at this company. Their reps and their strategy in itself, are terrible.

My experience working with Hibu was extremely disappointing and ultimately a waste of my time, money, and effort. I was initially contacted and encouraged to switch from my existing website to one they would provide, which was presented to me as a free, optimized solution that would improve my business visibility. However, after signing, I later learned from another representative that I was actually being charged for the website in addition to the marketing service all along. Throughout our agreement, I raised repeated concerns that my business was being advertised in the wrong city. Despite paying monthly, my concerns went unanswered, and when leads did come in, potential customers believed my business was located in the incorrect location listed in the ads. As a result, I did not gain any new clients from the service I was paying for. After four months, I requested to end the agreement. Although multiple representatives acknowledged that the ads were running in the wrong area, each person passed responsibility to someone else and claimed they didn’t understand how the mistake happened. I was told the issue would be escalated and corrected, but it never was. Instead, billing continued and payment was still demanded, with little interest shown in actually resolving the problem or providing satisfactory service. Even my sales representative, \[sensitive content hidden\], contacted me stating he would help resolve the situation, but after that conversation I received no follow-up or assistance. Overall, my experience was frustrating, misleading, and unproductive.

Pros

In person assigned sales rep unfortunately this didn’t help because he only emailed supposed results a few times a month. When I sent him messages asking him to correct errors I often didn’t receive a response.

Cons

Seemed more interested in locking into a contract and receiving payment than producing results and being accurate in their marketing for the company.

Pros

Very user friendly, staff is excellent and very responsive. We work with Shannon and she has been an excellent resource

Cons

A little pricey but overall we are satisfied with the services that we receive. I really don't have any complaints. We would just like it if it was a little more cost effective.

It is almost hard to descibe in words how bad my experience with Hibu has been. They do not follow through with promises, they don't know what they're doing, although they will claim they're "experts" in marketing. I wasted so much of my hard-earned money on their gimics. To top it all off, when I called to cancel my services, they said I didn't give them enough notice and charged me for another month. I highly recommend you choose ANYONE but this poor excuse for a company.

Collected money to do absolutely nothing. I had reviews website. They put it on Facebook didn't do anything. All I got was Spam calls complained they never responded to any complaints. Did not do anything to repair anything and would not let me cancel. I had to block them from my credit card. Finally to stop them from taking the money they did absolutely nothing. They're very good at trying to collect money though I got to tell you.

Pros

The worst digital marketing company on the planet all they did was collect money and they never responded to any complaints. Could not cancel the service and they just ripped me off $8 $900 a month for nothing zero not one phone call. Everything was spam. Nothing was ever done to fix anything after 3 or 4 months of taking my money. That's all they know. How to do is collect money. They do nothing.

Cons

Norhing, was done. They offered Facebook did nothing SEO. Nothing all we ever got was spam calls. Complaints had reviews on the site. Everything was done on my end. They did absolutely nothing to help my business. Not one thing, not one phone call.

I love the program. It allows me to connect with the client and put a package together for them that suits their needs.

Pros

I like the fact that it includes telephone numbers and emails so that I might be able to reach out to them to better put a package together. I love the fact that I can call them.

Cons

I really can't think of anything that I don't like about the application if I had one thing to say is make the comment filled a little bit longer.

Terrible, I paid hibu to work on my seo amd maintain my website. Hibu intentional suppressed my searchability in order to increase revenue. I switch to another company and within days i was coming up 1st ir second in google searches. I canceled Hibu which they made difficult. After i canceled they went back into my site and reset all my SEO settings so that i was no longer searchable.

Pros

My sales rep was great. Other than my rep the company was terrible. They didnt do much for the money. I switch to another company and my results were nearly instant. I was #1 in search engines.

Cons

The initial set up was good and things seemed to be going well, then the communications slowed, then stopped, then requests for changes went ignored, ended up having to do it myself and then cost was increased.

Cons

Felt that once the honeymoon stage was over we had no support. Looking for something more cost effective and better response times.

Our rep at HIBU, \[sensitive content hidden\] has been a good and present partner in finding the best target areas to help our business grow at amazing levels. I can email \[sensitive content hidden\] and within a few hours or less than 1 day the changes we request are put in place. I can easily log into the administration portal and update the website with anything we want to change. I can easily respond to customer reviews in one place and the impact is across the other platforms

Cons

Sometimes I feel that we are driving the direction of marketing and I would prefer I was being led with great ideas on where/what/how to increase market penetration.

Always have fast response to changes. Other people I got quote from, it was a cost each time we needed to update the web site. It works well for us.

Pros

We do continuing education and are all volunteers. I submit changes to the web site at least a couple of times a month. We have a page for members to get their continuing education materials, certificates and member listing. They can also pay for their meeting with PayPal. They did a good job on setting it up and using their artwork. When I have a change it is normally done by the next day at the latest.

Cons

I don't know how much exposure we get but we are a volunteer group and not a business so it works for us. We are getting people to look at the web site but I don't know if anyone searches on google if they would be directed to our site. But since we are volunteers it works for us.

I like working with Hibu, I just feel like my ideas are more advanced than my abilities so it is hard for me to implement change. I could have provided local photos and I did provide a couple, but implementing video or other interactive options on the website aren't really anything I know about so it is hard to convey what I'm looking for to the service center. I don't currently have a rep, but when I did, he was always checking in and coming up with a new game plan to make sure I was satisfied, I just think for my budget, we weren't very successful. I don't want to quit too early, but it is a little expensive to pay every month without a return on that investment. Overall though, I like the work they have done on our website and getting our reviews to be way up, they have done an extraordinary job with that.

Pros

They are very willing to have open conversation and listen to what the business owner's goals and wants are from the program. The service team is also very helpful and quick to make requested changes. I feel like they work as a team to determine the best route to go for desired outcome.

Cons

I don't necessarily feel like my business is growing from my advertising spend from the budget I had set. I also think my website could be customized a little bit more so it isn't so generic with stock images, but they also made it clear I could provide my own images to help. There isn't really anything I've wanted to do on the website that they said is impossible to do.

In a digital world everyone needs a current website that gives a consumer all of the information they want to know at their fingertips. If you don't the consumer will move on to another that does give them that information. Being able to update the website quickly and easily is essential for this purpose.

Pros

I can make changes to our website easily myself. If there is deeper formatting that I am unsure of the service team is pleasant and always willing to help.

Cons

It would be nice if the layout for different devices would be able to have differences. If they can I am unaware of this feature.

Reason for choosing Hibu

We are always presented with offers for website management (and digital marketing). We review the information as this information is presented to us. Hibu has always provided the best product when compared.

Easy setup, easy to modify the website, social media ads are simple but effective. The website works excellent and we have had complements from our customers.

Pros

Cost was excellent compared to our alternatives, our sales rep is excellent at his follow up.

Cons

Billing methods are not very flexible as far as scheduling a payment date that works with our accounting.

The software is very easily navigated, the best part is if you're stuck or have any questions the Hibu team is always available for help.

Cons

The only con would be learning to navigate the site at first, like anything it's a learning curve and well worth the time put in.
