" April 3, 2025 5.0 Overall- it’s been a breeze to track expenses since switching over to Ramp. Employees receive their monthly spending limit and a virtual and physical card. Then they upload receipts into the system as they use it. The card locks after a certain time if receipts aren’t uploaded. Also you can flag spending after a certain amount. All in all a great system to track employee expenses. Pros This product make employee expense tracking so easy! Cons The set up can be a little tedious but once you are on there it’s very easy to use. I’m not at a business size that is in need of that option at this time but if for some reason in the future I see my business growing I’ve definitely got ramp at the forefront of my consideration on what to use to track spending and cash flow automation. Pros Ramp is very user friendly and provides an interface that just makes sense and the sync with NetSuite saves me and my team so much time. Cons I haven't found anything about Ramp that I do not like. We also wanted to get anyway from AmEx because we had several instances where employees couldn't use their cards due to AmEx not being accepted. July 28, 2025 5.0 I love Ramp - wouldn't work our Accounting Team with anything else at this point. Time saving in AP for sure. Pros Ramp is a great way to manage all your credit card transaction in one place as well as have Bill Pay to pay all your bills. You can have invoices emailed right into Ramp saving to time not having to enter each bill individually. Easy to learn - they provide training - it's secure with credit card transactions and they help with any issues. If you have QuickBooks the program is Free, so the value is more than perfect! It sync's with QuickBooks so Accounting is super simple, and the number of users for user interface is not charged either as long as you are syncing with QuickBooks. Its features are above and beyond any other program I looked into. Cons Sometimes it's hard to get tech support to respond as Quickly as I would like - but I am not super patient person when it comes to issues that do come up, but response time is usually within 24 hours. The ability to submit expenses via email and SMS has eliminated the need for tracking, keeping and trying to keep track of receipts. Previously, we were issuing physical credit cards from our bank, which made it challenging to get those back or enforce approvals on purchases. Ramp has made it really easy for us to customize and streamline credit card access internally. Pros The highlight of Ramp is the ability to issue digital credit cards with varying limits, which empowers our fully remote organization and also makes it easy to issue and rescind cards for new hires or departing employees. Additionally, the receipt submission flow makes it easy for purchases to get reviewed and approved as needed. Cons Honestly, at this point, there's nothing that I like least about Ramp. Our organization has turned off the Gmail auto scan integration, which adds an extra step for receipt submission, but that's an internal complaint :) Review Source HC Harrison C. Fantastic customer support, amazing solutions that accelerate accounting processes, providing invaluable insights into our expenses / payables so we can best forecast our expenses and create value in what we actually do. Pros The UI is outstanding and has tremendously helped my firm track and analyze our expenses and payables to better forecast and plan budgets. Also, the integrations are fantastic and make reporting and automating the accounting process a seamless experience that has allowed people to free up time and create value elsewhere. Cons There are not really any cons to Ramp. It is awesome to see a start-up like Ramp take market share and offer a product that the marketplace needed. I love the flexibility and security of individual virtual vendor cards to control spending, My staff loves the convenience of submitting receipts and reimbursements. It really shines on the software side, and everybody who is an admin has direct access into how people are using corporate spend. The card is trustworthy. Pros Ramp is affordable, a smart software, and allows me to track everything I need to track as far as AP goes. I have direct insight into how my employees spend and I am able to categorize + organize everything into one software. Since we implemented Ramp, we have drastically improved our controls around expenditure across the company, increased awareness about costs and spending and also delighted employees with a far superior tool that provides transparency and quick payouts for them. Pros Ramp is an incredibly powerful tool with a rich feature set delivered by a very high performing team. Ramp has a number of features that set it apart from other tools on the market. The spend dashboards are incredibly intuitive and easy to analyse. Ramp cards can be issued in seconds and have all the appropriate triggers to stop cards being abused if there isn't a valid receipt. Another feature particularly valuable for me is the ability to email Ramp and these email receipts are automatically matched with expenses saving huge amounts of time. The slack integration is fantastic and the ability to approve/pay via slack is a game changer. Cons The mobile app isn't the most intuitive when you are looking for a very simple view of reimbursements. I know this is constantly improving but I have routinely struggled to find outstanding/paid reimbursements. Review Source AB Alec B. I wuld like to see Ramp expanded to AR functionality to receive customer payments as well, this way it could be a one stop shop. Today we have to have more than one program t manage all of our accounting needs. Pros Ramp has truly made life with company card, expense tracking and vendor management and payables! Having working in the finance field for 23 years, I have had vast experience with many softwares. Ramp is one of my favorites and is easy to set-up or disable users, track vendor expenses, and reimbursements Cons We are able to manage accounts payable but it does not have accounts receivable functionalty at all. i've asked if this will be added to Ramp's future functionality before we have to purchase an additional package with another firm and have not yet received any feedback nor a response on this piece. ALSO, the latest update is not ideal with moving items that are ready to process to different tabs.
