The user interface is simple, and the step-by-step instructions make it straightforward for beginners to understand. It offers a number of unique features, and users only pay for what they actually use. Amazon is pricey and has a complicated user interface. DigitalOcean is easy to use, controllable, and makes it straightforward to set up servers without incurring additional fees or other hassles. Pros It's incredibly simple to use the pre-configured VM templates for common software, which frees up your time for other important tasks. You can stop worrying about these things and needing to perform recovery tests on a regular basis thanks to automated VM backups and point-in-time recovery for databases. Cons I wish there was a more effective method for automatically provisioning individuals from specific nations. I didn't like that in order to prove my identity, I had to provide a photo of my face and my ID. Pros es una herramienta muy versatil, con gran numero de soluciones y funciones.una de las que mas me gustan es que esta clase de hosting en la nube tiene mucha mas disponibilidad que el hosting tradicional con la consecuente tranquilidad de que siempre que algo falle sera mucho mas facil no notar la implicaciones de ese fallo.La aplicaciones tiene varias ventajas a recalcar.La primera cosa en la que siempre me fijo en una aplicacion es que la interfaz sea clara y sencilla para que no resulta engorroso transitar por ella.La aplicacion es bastante accesible, por apenas, 5 $ ya puedes acceder un plan, que se ira incrementando si asi lo necesitas.La aplicacion se puede integrar en otras aplicaciones o por el contrario unir varias funciones en una sola plataforma Cons Quizas la unica desventaja que puede ver, es que quien pase de un hosting tradicional a esta clase de hosting tendra al principio algunos problemas de adaptacion, pero de todas formas la aplicaciones es facil de usar en cuanto adquieres conocimientos sobre ella. Pros It is one of the simplest ways to set up a VPS, and you can choose from a variety of operating systems such as Ubuntu. There are numerous droplets to choose from, each with a different price. The best part is the free trial period that they provide when you register, which allows you to try everything they offer for free. Cons What I dislike the most is that it has a bad reputation, so if you decide to use it as your email marketing server, you should be aware that it will be blacklisted the majority of the time. I was able to set up and maintain servers fast because to its user-friendly UI and comprehensive tutorials, and I also saved money thanks to its reasonable price. Cons Despite having excellent value for the money, DigitalOcean is missing certain cutting-edge capabilities, like load balancing, backup scheduling, and automated scaling. From web servers and databases to our inventory management applications- everything has never been more stable, secure and I 10/10 recommend DigitalOcean! Pros The ease of use is really what shines here, it just works. Over the past 2 years I have had almost no downtime! All of my cloud infrastructure runs on Digital Ocean now, and I've never even bothered looking elsewhere! Cons The only downfall, is that I wish there were more flexible pricing options. With DO, I can use the latest web server technology when I want. I have experience nothing but great, prompt customer service. Pros Along with great guides, DO has provided me and my clients with a growing list of tools to be more productive. Cons The learning curve was steep when I started using DO several years ago. I imagine those with no experience in this area would struggle but the guides really helped. I actually Signed up for trial to learn about their services and features the main purpose was for VPn but I ended up making it a node for online game tunneling. Pros DigitalOcean is a great platform for many developers and cloud computing enthusiasts as they provide up to date hardware for their systems. they have a robust network and greater availability regions and have great customer support that will help you anytime. DigitalOcean's market presence is quite high. the most interesting thing that I found was they have very low latency for VPN uses in Droplet. Cons The only thing that is hated about it is that I was not able to successfully use it as a VPN server because most of their IPs are flagged as VPN server even though they serve different purposes in Online content streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. It, not Digitalocean's fault because as their service for VPN servers are so famous that content providers blocked them all. but overall A+. Review Source Ana P. Whenever there is no need to contact a company's support, it is a sign that they have a solid solution, as well as a very broad knowledge base. Whenever I needed to investigate the installation of apps on VPS I found a huge amount of documentation and videos. Pros Own hosting panel, simple and intuitive. I never needed to use the support, as it's all so simple :-) Cons I didn't find any point that I didn't like, I used it a lot during COVID where I had installed several APPS, one of which was jitsi, which provided access to my family for video conferencing and not having to pay for ZOOM.
