Pros

Pros

Love that it is all in one and we are able to manage all functions pertaining to lead to lease process, accounting, maintenance and facilities, web site and digital presence optimization and tracking from one place

Cons

Technical support has declined as the company grew and with covid. I noticed such decline in the past 2 years. We have been using Entrata for the past 7 years or so and it was great.

### "An industry standard in an industry with room to improve"

Considerably better than OneSite. There’s improvements I’d like to see, but I could comfortably recommend Entrata.

Pros

Entrata has a best-in-class user interface and works reasonably well with mobile devices. Property management software is not known for either of those things, so I was pleasantly surprised. Entrata has a respectable array of features and exceptionally customizable reporting. Entrata makes it easy to pull virtually any data you would need and format it in a way that would be presentable to owners or investors.

Cons

Entrata would probably be near perfect for a conventional housing property manager. Student housing, however, is a little different. College students can create incredibly complex situations that Entrata doesn’t always easily conform to. Entrata might work the way you’d expect to, but students do not. In a perfect world, there would be more property manager input in the programming stage.

I was not a fan of Entrada at first because it seemed like there were way to many ways of doing things instead of just one easy way. I have grown to love it now that I have worked in it for a year.

Cons

The reports and setting perimeters. And so many alerts

I love the product and very happy we made the switch, but there is always room for improvement. I am just happy the product continues to evolve.

Pros

I love the ease of use. I love that it incorporates many aspects of property management from resident interface to marketing to accounting to asset management.

Cons

feature requests are taking longer to get done. Support is difficult to get as you have to constantly reiterate issues.

We love working with Entrata. They are quick to respond to any questions or issues we may run into. The software is very user-friendly and easy to learn.

Pros

Entrata is very user-friendly and the best property management software out there. We also love the customer service we get from our reps, and the help desk team.

Cons

The update days can be a little frustrating when figuring out what was changed but it's usually a quick solution.

Pros

In the industry, the best software out there. Has its quirks and you need to be detail oriented and patient to set it up but compared to the others, there's no competition. My favorite part are online leasing, the resident portal, and the level of customization and training resources

Cons

Reporting needs to be worked out more, its sometimes not easy to fix an issue or understand why something works the way it does. Setup could also be a bit more intuitive and sometimes the customer support team doesn't have the answers you hope for and you figure it out yourself anyway.

Overall a nice software package to work with but customer service can be extremely slow to respond to tickets and sometimes seems to take excessively long to offer a resolution to same. Would like to see them pack in more features such as the ability to require the attachment of items to lease documentation as part of the signing process.

Pros

Quick and easy access to the resident dashboard to review everything ranging from charges and payment history to repair requests and phone calls to team members.

Cons

I do not like the way parent/children properties are handled when you're dealing with large properties that were built in phases. Often even representatives at Leasing Center aren't versed enough to locate residents between phases. Really need to add functionality to require the resident to upload and attach items to documents. For example on our parking agreement, it would be great if we could ask persons to attach their proof of motor vehicle insurance and motor vehicle registration when completing the document. Docusign has utilized this feature for ages. Despite repeated requests, Entrata is yet to embrace the concept.

Pros

Easy integrations, able to schedule contacts, can filter through types of interactions, can almost pull any info through reports

Cons

Some bugs didn’t allow me to click to generate reports, online chat was nearly always not functioning correctly

Pros

I like that everything is in one place and is easily accessible. There are a lot of great features that you can customize to fit your needs and processes.

Cons

Integration was difficult because I manage a tax credit (low income) property and that requires a lot more verification and processes that conventional rental properties don't so we've had to work out a lot of kinks and figure out ways to make it work for what we need.

Overall the experience is well.

Pros

The dashboard is very easy to use. Reports pull information well.

Cons

For make readies, I feel it would be useful to be able to assign subtasks to employees as well as vendors. We have been experiencing issues with transferring residents. After screening there is no button or way to move on to generate the lease. Support was contacted well over a week ago and no resolution yet. Residents are waiting for a lease to be sent to secure their new apartment.

Pros

Most of the tabs are pretty self explanitory and everything seems pretty easy to find. The help has worked out great.

Brieng able to access residents data and see important and pertinent information.

Cons

When. Resident is pulled up it would be helpful to see all renters unit information on one account. I fell like I have to open many tabs to move back and forth with look up people with multiple accounts.

I have been an on-site manger for 10 years and have used several different property management software programs. Entrata is by far my favorite!

Pros

I love that I can use Entrata for everything. It's easy to navigate and easy to use.

Cons

We used to be able to filer/customize the reports. However, there was an update a few months ago and now everything is locked. The reports are cluttered with useless information making the reports unnecessarily long and cumbersome.

Pros

Entrata makes the multifamily industry so much easier. They are always updating their software with amazing innovation. The settings and features are endless. They have a full time support team, trainers who do daily webinar trainings, as well as the option to come out on site and train, and they also offer a customer success manager who works with you daily to ensure that your company is succesfull while using Entrata.

Cons

Because of the large amount of setting and feautre options, Entrata can get messy quickly. They also have struggles at times when it comes to large influxes such as rent week or stundent turn as well as when they release one of their updates every two months.
