### "Really clean, easy to use platform"

November 5, 2025

5.0

Great experience since I started using Air a year ago, we actually moved all our assets over there recently as we were using Air and another platform but Air is by far the best

Pros

Air is really simple to use for both team members and clients. It provides a clean UX where you can easily see all your assets in one place. I love the comment feature which is helpful when giving feedback to our editors but also for clients to leave their feedback with specific timestamps. Wouldn't use anything else

Cons

There isn't much I dislike about Air, however recently they did change how the comment feature looks and I don't think it looks as clean as it used to but it still works great.

### "A+ Creative Centralisation "

April 19, 2025

5.0

Air has really set itself different from other creative collaboration platforms. It's really good for Social media management agencies or e-commerce platforms with alot of products shoots.

Pros

I really like the way Air centrilizes our creatives and allows our team to work together. Along with the content distribution to our social media and e-commerce channels.

Cons

The pricing is really the biggest issue. It's very large price gap jump. However, if the pricing was reasonable. it'd be perfect.

### "Professional Liability: A Broken DAM Experience"

February 13, 2026

1.0

Adding insult to injury is the cynical "upsell" culture baked into the user interface. While the mid-level Business tier fails to provide even a baseline of stability or reliable syncing, the software frequently pestering me to "upgrade" to a top-level tier for "advanced features." It is deeply dishonest to gatekeep premium tools behind a paywall when the core infrastructure of the lower tiers is non-functional on current operating systems like macOS Tahoe. I don’t need "Enterprise-grade AI tagging" or "Ultimate" tier bells and whistles; I need a Business-level tool that doesn't require a daily ritual of troubleshooting and resyncing just to access my own assets. This isn't a professional Digital Asset Manager—it’s a legacy bottleneck that has become a liability to my productivity.

Pros

It works similar to a mirroring dropbox on your local device, the online searching is the best feature.

Cons

Operating an AIR-based DAM on a modern Mac Pro has become a masterclass in frustration, characterized by a persistent and "broken" sync architecture that feels fundamentally at odds with current macOS file handling. The core of the issue lies in a "predictably unreliable" sync engine that frequently triggers metadata collisions and "file in use" errors, often leading to the nightmare scenario of losing work through accidental overwriting or failed file recovery. Because AIR acts as a legacy cross-platform wrapper rather than a native application, it lacks the agility to navigate macOS’s strict permissions, resulting in frequent "beach balling" and hangs that necessitate a force quit. These forced restarts only exacerbate the instability, as they often leave behind database lock files that trigger endless resyncing loops or "damaged installer" alerts upon relaunch. For professionals managing high volumes of digital assets, the system’s tendency to lose track of file paths or fail mid-upload makes it a poor choice for a reliable DAM. In an era of Apple Silicon and advanced OS file protection, the aging AIR infrastructure feels like a bottleneck that compromises data integrity and workflow efficiency, leaving users to manage their software as much as they manage their actual assets.

### "Practical Asset Management for Creative Teams"

March 16, 2026

5.0

Air helps keep design files and creative assets organized, which makes collaboration smoother when working on branding projects.

Pros

It’s easy to store, search, and share visual assets. This saves time when looking for previous designs or references.

Cons

The platform works well for organization, but some teams might still rely on other tools for deeper project management.

### "Air knocks it out of the park! "

February 7, 2025

5.0

Its been everything I have hoped for! In fact, its exceeded my expectations and will pay for itself by saving us so much time on a daily basis.

Pros

The ease of use and the clean UI are noticeably better compared to some other more antiquated apps. They have web-based and mac-based apps. I also felt their Ai integration/utilization for things like search and image tagging was superior to other services. Lastly, I noticed they just had a series B funding round which makes me confident that this company is growing and will continue to expand its capabilities.

Cons

Nothing so far. I was concerned about the support on the free or cheapest plan, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and thoroughness of the support.

### "Great for global agency partners!"

July 8, 2024

5.0

It's been wonderful to work with through my agency! We're finally really organized and can run searches for our assets quickly. It's definitely better than a server, Google Drive folder, or Dropbox folder—all of which we have tried. My business partner and I work remotely with each other and all of our clients, and Air is instrumental now in the infrastructure of our agency.

Pros

I love that it's a great organizational system for TONS of visual assets, and that versions stack for either photo or video.

Cons

I do wish that it was a little more affordable for solopreneur freelancers, but it's okay!

### "Great DAM that is super easy to use!"

July 8, 2021

5.0

Couldn't recommend Air enough. Not only is the platform providing a ton of value for our team, but the communication, guidance, and troubleshooting by the team over at Air has made this a first-class product and experience for our team.

Pros

I love how highly searchable it makes all of your assets. With the asset labelling and AI tagging, it means that everyone across our team can very easily find the assets they need. And beyond that, this functionality allows us to really easily curate groups of images on the fly. Moving our final assets from Dropbox to Air has been a game changer!

Cons

A con that has turned into a major pro: There were a few features that were missing when we first migrated over to Air, but the team over there setup a few sessions to hear what our team thought could be great feature additions to their platform that would greatly improve our workflow. A few months later, those features were live on the platform.. pretty incredible!

Switched from

We were using dropbox to store and manage all of our assets, but as we grew, the myriad of folders became less and less intuitive for finding and using assets. We needed an option that could scale alongside use and allow our team to easily search and find assets amongst 10's of thousands of files.

### "Great platform, even better team behind it."

December 13, 2024

4.0

I'm brand new to Air, but the experience overall so far has been great. In addition to the excellent documentation Air offers, \[sensitive content hidden\] from support has been a great resource as I figure out my workflow.

Pros

My favorite feature is the ability to have one asset exist in multiple places at once! I also love being able to save filters. The support is unparalleled compared to other DAM platforms I've used.

Cons

I think more flexibility in the various views would be nice. For example, you can see all your custom fields in the gallery view, but you can't see your tags or metadata (you can easily get to that info, but you can't see it alongside the thumbnail. I'd love to be able to see all the metadata from the table view, but with thumbnails the size of the gallery view.

### "Overall easy collab app"

October 13, 2025

5.0

We use Air for B2C platforms to share collateral between brands. It’s easy to drag and drop and change tags, names etc while using.

Pros

Easy to use for team collaborations to update images, tags and photo management overall to keep all collateral organized and easy to use brand to brand.

Cons

Sometimes tagging images doesn’t always sync properly and needs updating and then trying again after refreshing

### "Air was a good experience for me I can say for a short period of time"

February 19, 2025

4.0

The intuitive design and user-friendly interface make it easy to navigate and manage digital assets. If you work with external vendors or designers, Air allows you to share files securely and collaborate on projects.

Pros

I can use it to store and manage all your product images. You can easily search for and retrieve images, ensuring that your online store always has the latest visuals.

Cons

Some users find the interface to be a bit overwhelming at first, especially if they are not used to creative asset management tools.

### "Air review "

September 7, 2024

4.0

Positive. Though the app did crash recently and all the links broke which was annoying but was fixed

Pros

I love that it’s visually appealing! Much more than google drive and easy to go around finding content. I also like the link sharing aspect and export functionality. Really nice to have custom export features since when we upload our logo for example on new marketing channels they have a required max file size so it’s nice to do it directly from air

Cons

Feel search is lacking. Our team could do a better job naming things but having some sort of ai feature where it can find images related to a search term would be amazing. For example, some times for organic social we want to post a photo dump of people slurping our product or maybe even images of us in stores. These images are located in different folders for different use cases but aren’t tied to an original folder that categorizes them so I have to dig through folders sometimes to find stuff

### "Easy to navigate UI!"

September 9, 2024

5.0

I would definitely recommend Air for anyone in photography business as it stores the files the same quality as it was taken. Air makes life easier with its easy to navigate UI. Very straightforward that even amateurs can easily comprehend.

Pros

It’s very easy to navigate and straightforward with the website flow. The best thing about air is that I can bulk edit things in just a few clicks.

Cons

There are times when the site gets buggy and it requires me to refresh my tab which results to me scrolling all the way down where I have to edit in the first place; and if I’m planning to edit its next item it will not be the same as the arrangement than if I scroll manually.

### "We love Air!"

July 9, 2024

5.0

Pros

What I like the most about Air is its exceptional organization and management of digital assets. Before using Air, we relied on Google Drive, which was not user-friendly and often led to difficulty locating specific assets, losing files, and overall disorganization. Air has completely eliminated these issues, allowing us to optimize our asset management. The searchability feature is a standout for us, as it has proven invaluable for our team and external agencies. We regularly leverage Air for its organizational and searchable capabilities, making it an indispensable tool in our workflow.

Cons

When it comes to what we like the least about the platform, there's honestly nothing that comes to mind. It has optimized our workflow, addressing all our previous challenges with ease.

### "Great alternative to Google Drive"

July 16, 2024

5.0

Pros

The user-friendliness, which equals time saved. It doesn't require a demo, teams and clients can figure it out on their own.

Cons

I'd like to see more features implemented down the line, but it could confuse and dilute what's great currently if implemented too soon. I'd like the search bar to infuse a little AI to guess what I'm looking for rather than having to manually add tags, which I know my team/clients just won't have the time to do.

We enjoy using it and it makes it easy to get photos from our photographers, wherever they are and it is easy to share assets with our athletes. I would like some of the labeling and organizational features to improve.

Pros

Cons

I love the guest upload option, I love the tagging ability, It's been a great solution to share images across our staff and with photographers.

Pros

I love how visual it is and how easily we can view all of our images to select and download. Also like the app feature to more easily upload images from my desktop to the air library without using a browser.

Cons

### "Air has been a Grand Slam for our team!"

September 13, 2021

5.0

Pros

Everything about the Air platform has bee exactly as advertised. It's super easy to work with and allows easy connectivity and downloads from users and independent contributors alike. It allows us to manage all of our production assets in one place, to search and access our files easily and to provide accessibility to our clients outside the production team in simple, easy to follow ways.

Cons

Not much downside that we've seen. It could be enhanced by providing a direct connection to the Premier editing software we use (for video editing).

Reason for choosing Air

Cost. Speed. Ease of use. Fit our needs.

### "In another life, we may have found each other! "

September 20, 2021

4.0

Pros

The ease of use, and the automatic tagging software allowed for such efficiency in finding images for any and all creative needs! Additionally, the fact one image can exist in multiple spaces and take up the same amount of storage is pretty groovy! I loved the stacking feature as well, being able to upload edited imagery while still retaining access to the raw file was exciting for work flow!

Cons

There is an added amount of time and effort to work flow when using images within Adobe programs. In order for them to update we have to re-upload - compared to Dropbox (our main organization software) were saving automatically updates the file and connected to assets within our made folders.

### "Great Asset Management App"

September 20, 2021

4.0

Pros

I love the search feature & smart tags which make it extremely easy to find assets (specifically if you didn't know where to start), the ability to have multiple versions of one asset stacked in one place, and the ease of use.

Cons

I would love to see the Air desktop app work similarly to Dropbox Desktop (where files are continually synced and shared with everyone else on the team). For example — if I'm working on an InDesign file (that's saved on my desktop), and I update in the desktop Air app, my co-worker would still need to go into the web version of Air, download to make edits, and then re-upload.
