I like Clipchamp and always recommend it to others because it really is reliable and simple to use. Editing videos can be a challenge if you are not familiar with the process. Music is also pretty decent, you just have to dig a little bit to find the right vibe for the content. Overall a fantastic tool, very user friendly, and can produce a professional piece of content in a quick amount of time.

Pros

Clipchamp is free to use which is always a bonus and it’s pretty user friendly. Has lots of transitions and features that make it fairly easier for even a novice to be able to edit a solid clip.

Cons

While it is a professional tool, I would like there to be some more options available especially for extra designs that can be added to your videos. Such as texts, overlays, and images that can be included into your clips.

It works well when I need to send an accident video to my insurance company and the file size is too large. It compresses the video quickly without any trouble.

Pros

Very easy to use. It works well when I need to reduce video file size. I just drag the video in, adjust the quality, and export. The speed is fast, and the process is simple.

Cons

Editing features are basic. If you want more professional level tools, you might need a different app.

Useful for basic editing but I grew bored feeling limited, and went back to adobe premiere for anything meaningful.

Pros

There's a free version, it's somewhat easy to use and learn if you've ever used a video editor. You can create basic videos and do basic editing without premium version. The quality of video is customizable. There's plenty of options for text, voice and images. Never had an issue with security and never needed customer support.

Cons

it was a bit laggy and, even with the paid version, i felt limited. it also didnt work on mac well or at all, and i had a hard time transferring files to work on 2 separate

Pros

Clipchamp has allowed me to make simple and clean tutorial videos to transfer knowledge to colleagues at leisure.

Cons

It took me a few tries to understand how the editing tools worked before I could make a clean video to share with colleagues.

Clip champ is excellent for what I use it for, in tandem with other programs. I essentially use it for basic video cropping to decrease file size and also to chance video file types so that they are compatible with the software I use for editing.

Pros

I love that you can change the file type of a video with this software. This is one of the only softwares I have access to that will allow me to do this and it’s a game changer. Especially because it’s already integrated into Microsoft.

Cons

Clip champ has basic level editing tools available. It would be amazing if it there were higher level editing tools like background remove and an eraser tool, but I realize that would probably knock it into a higher cost tier.

It's reliable and quick to create videos with and edit videos with. It's also secure on your device.

Pros

It has many cool elements and even has an AI template for customisation and great video creation features.

Cons

The files come out extremely large and can be difficult to store and share with family and friends or on social media.

Overall I have a very pleasant experience with Clipchamp. I'm able to create videos quickly and efficiently to help drive sales.

Pros

Editing both pictures, video, and music are very easy and user-friendly. You don't need much experience in order to produce high-quality clips quickly.

Cons

At the beginning it can be hard to use, especially if you don't have experience editing videos with similar programs.

Pros

The easiest way to edit my videos, control speed, voices and visual effects are amazing. Clipchamp saves my time

It doesn’t support generating videos like other Ai tools, just editing videos, hope they add “generate videos”

Best described as "not great", and best use other more stable and functional apps for more important and longer videos. There is no longer any online help so you are on your own. Not worth paying for as there are better options out there.

Pros

Has some good features and I get a few extra for paying monthly for Microsoft Word package.

Cons

Has a number of major flaws of which the Clipchamp tech team have long been aware and done little to address. The most annoying and time consuming is trying to keep the dialogue and other adds on with the images when you change anything. Everything falls out of sync if you change image size or move stuff around. Gaps appear elsewhere and a lot of transitions just disappear. To restore all this takes hours and hours and you become nervous about changing anything. Advice...keep your video simple and short. The other most devastating experience is when your pictures disappear because you haven't gone to the paid Premium version where there is a picture back up and this does not happen. Bit of a con.
