" January 21, 2026 5.0 It's been great! I really am happy with the user ease and the customer service. The company is really responsive and can modify things a lot of things for you when possible. It has saved me a lot of work already and I can tell the more we utilize it the more time it will save. My Board has given me good feedback and seems to be adjusting well (and I have a board of 30!). I also like that Easy Board is always taking input and improving the platform as they go. Pros I just purchased a few months ago, so it's very fresh and I'm in the infant stages. Onboarding is really easy. There are 1-1 orientations, tools, and folks to help you along the way. The program itself is very user friendly. Cons So far, I'm new to it and haven't really found anything to be an issue. Little kinks here and there come up, but the AI help or the staff themselves have helped me through it all. Pros Easy Board is user friendly and the single sign on capabilities has made the utilization stronger from our board members. It has been an accessible "hub" for board members to access board materials and announcements. The way admin can send announcements or messages directly from the platform and have notifications be sent to user emails is really helpful. Cons We have not utilized the library feature as much as we'd like to due to the format and organization of it. It would be a very useful area for Easy Board to improve. Not really a software issue, but people are stubborn about Tech sometimes. Because of the design, our Board adopted the platform without much trouble at all. I have recommended to other nonprofits seeking a simple, effective solution. If your primary goal is to make running Board Meetings and distributing Board documentation easier, this is the product for you. It does not include documentation authoring tools, but why would you need them to be included when Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and all the other such tools are readily available and excel at what they are there for? While Easy Board is clearly targeted at nonprofits (since we don't typically have the funds available to implement the larger, costlier Board products on the market), I would easily recommend this to for-profit organizations as well if the goal is to simply simplify your Board Meeting management without a lot of muss and fuss. The learning curve is unbelievably short, and this product is approachable to even the most technologically challenged individuals. Furthermore, the implementation and administration efforts are equally simple. Availability of staff for setup and issue resolution is top-notch. Easy Board is a full-featured product that does EXACTLY what it promises to do: make managing Board Meetings Easy. Pros It lives up to its name and doesn't promise anything it can't deliver. It truly is the easiest Board Meeting Management software I have worked with, and I have worked with many across the cost/feature spectrum. The company didn't promise anything it couldn't deliver. Cons I wouldn't call this a con per se, but if I had to identify one feature that would add the most value, it would be the availability of a mobile app for those Board Members accessing from a tablet. The website is full-featured, so we're not losing anything, but I think that would be the most value-added feature they could add right now. It make our Board meetings easier to manage. Thumbs up from BookSpring. Pros Our Board of Directors found it really easy to access and navigate. It's super simple so that even if you're not in there everyday, you can remember how to get around and find things. I like that it sets up roles by committees and groups. The even feeds down like a social media platform, most current at top. At first that was confusing but we got used to it fast. The sharing to calendars, Google Docs, and Zoom link integrations work well. Log in is intutive and forgiving. Cons Our only issue is that after a few years, our document library is getting a little cluttered. It would be helpful to have some kind of archiving or sub folder option, but basically, we put our archives in our official cloud accounts. This tool is best for managing muliple working groups in real time, not as a document repository. I love the tool and it is very helpful in staying organized. I am still looking for ways to encourage folks to use it more. Pros It is easy to use and saves me a lot of time sending reminders. It is a wonderful repository for Board documents and I love that it is improving regularly with helpful updates! I am excited to see what comes next. Cons I wish that Easy Board would send out Outlook calendar invites directly. Even though folks can subscribe to their calendars based on the groups they are in, I still need to send Outlook invites directly to make sure folks show up! Even though they have the tools, I still need to 'babysit' them a little bit. It would save me time if Easy Board could send an outlook invite that they can accept and physically have on their calendar. Also, for some reason, folks have a tendency to ignore emails that request that they respond to scheduling polls. I am not sure if this is a user issue - but I wonder if there is a way to make the emails more clear when we want feedback from folks. Or if it could say from "my name" on behalf of Easy Board Notifications to make sure it isn't ignored. Just some thoughts. Administrative Services Manager Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Members Who Serve on Multiple Boards and Committees Have Meeting Access in One Convenient Location" October 20, 2021 5.0 Many of our Board members serve in multiple roles within our organization (other boards, committees, sub-groups, etc.) Easy Board allows us to tag each user with the specific groups that they need to be able to access within a one-stop shop and has eliminated the need for so many different emails out to our Board and Committee members for various meetings. Pros We love the "magic link" that allows our Board and Committee members to have one-click access to a meeting and all the associated materials. I like that meetings can have virtual meeting software (Zoom, etc.) links embedded right into the meeting. Having a location to store board-wide organizational documents such as bylaws, etc. is also great to have. It provides easy access to our Board volunteers to those documents. Cons I would like to see a function to organize files uploaded into a meeting into sections. I do not like that all the files are just jumbled together. It makes it so the file names have to be very specific for users to determine what they are and where they fit in within a meeting agenda. Being able to order the files in a way that correlates to a meeting agenda would be a great feature. We would also like if in the future, Easy Board might consider adding an electronic voting feature or a way to record votes for a specific action. It was difficult to manage and keep secure. Easy Board really is simple to use and keep up to date. We also appreciate the very reasonable price and price transparency. It's made communicating with our board and keeping them up to date on meeting times much easier. Pros It's easy to set up and use. Our board members are not all tech-savvy, but they don't have to be. Pros Easy Board is simple to use and does the job of organizing board business all in one place that is accessible to members. It is very easy to schedule meetings, present members with documents related to the meetings, as well as keep archives of minutes and important board documents. Cons There was a glitch that disabled the meeting notifications that caused problems because members were used to getting reminders. It was eventually fixed and has been working well since. The cost was low when we began using it and has been increased now to where it is somewhat less affordable for a small non-profit. Pros With staff and board member transitions, Easy Board makes it easy for the board to get the information they need, and allows the staff and administrator to locate and update as necessary in a place and a way that makes sense. Cons We are having issues with changing the names of existing members. Some things that should be straightforward are not. We have only used it for a few of our meetings, but I continue to ask them what they think about it at every meeting. So far, the response has been favorable. Pros This product helps keep our board and staff organized and free from lost emails and materials. I can make changes to board packets "easily" without resending notices to the entire board. Cons I struggle with getting the meeting alerts on people's calendars. There is an option to add the meeting invite to calendars, but it is one more step, and I worry our board members might skip that and miss meetings. I think this might be operator error, but it is a problem that I've encountered. It is intuitive and captures exactly what we need for board management and document access. It did not have any of the extra noise, unnecessary hurdles or cost of many other platforms we looked at. We did not have a training session for members, but Easy Board did come in and provide an overview of the platform’s features at one of our board meetings, and we have offered the option of additional training if needed. We do have a handful of members that still prefer to be contacted via email/mail, etc., but the vast majority have adjusted quickly and find the platform to be a vast improvement to prior operations. It’s also very easy for administrators to do most of the work needed beforehand so board members aren’t required to have much involvement. Pros I certainly feel Easy Board has met our organization’s expectations. We were involved in the early stages of the product’s development, so we were able to provide input on many of the features, etc. from the beginning, but since implementing and using the product on a regular basis, we definitely feel it has improved our day-to-day operations in more ways than even initially anticipated. Two functions we use most often are the meeting scheduling feature, as well as the people/directory feature. Cons Since we have been working with the product since it was in development, we did work through a number of glitches in the early stages, but the team has remedied them all and more since, and in several months, we have had no issues or complaints.
