### "Finix helped us build the foundations of our product"

I reached out to Finix when CharityStack was just an idea. I didn’t have developers yet and I didn’t have a team. The technical documentation was on point and the implementation process seemed very easy to understand. This enabled me to hire a development team to move fast and get our company up and running. Had the enablement process been difficult in the slightest, CharityStack wouldn’t be here today.

Pros

The fact that I can connect with the Finix support side and get a solution to a question within a day is tangibly helpful. Especially when it comes to building relationships with our customers. Because with Stripe or another payment platform, I’m positive we wouldn’t get that same level of assistance.

Cons

The API docs could be more streamlined and use the formatting/platforms that other API-first companies use. Nothing super critical, but I'm on the Finix documentation pretty frequently and when compared to other companies, I think there's room for improvement.

Pros

Works exactly as advertised, there's no pointless upsells. Everyone working on the product knows what they're doing and what they can and can't do.

Cons

Doesn't work in EU yet, which means we need to find a Finix alternative in Europe for our US + Canadian businesses.

We didn't switch from PayPal, we switched from an unlisted PayFac-as-a-Service option on this platform. That party mis-advertised their capabilities and limitations and helped us figure out how to work through them and be successful.

### "Stay away at all costs"

Horrible. Constant issues with their payment stack, and internal onboarding processes. They don't seem to be worried about fixing issues, as they pass on all responsibility to the customer - read your contract carefully.

Pros

The UI of the dashboard, was easy to use. And the salesperson's ability to sell us the product quickly.

Cons

Underwriting approving fraudulent merchants, denying legitimate merchants, API security, and workflow issues. The support team is unable to admit any wrongdoing and passes the blame onto us, the customer.

Excellent. They were able to answer all our questions and get us onboarded very quickly.

Pros

Onboarding and the team they have to help you get to a fully working integration was a delightful experience compared to other solutions we have tried.

Cons

Documentation is great but could be fleshed out more in some details. And whatever javascript is on the documentation page occasionally locks up.

After shopping several credit card processing platforms, I chose Finix for its pricing and customer service. From the start, the team has been really fantastic. My team is \[sensitive content hidden\]. \[sensitive content hidden\] was my initial contact an was really great -explaining the company and structure clearly to help me understand billing/pricing. He has been quickly responsive to any email questions I have. \[sensitive content hidden\] took my director of administration and I through the program use. He was so fantastic -took his time explaining, stopped for questions and answered them clearly. He kept repeating that ‘there are no dumb questions’, which I so appreciated. He was just outstanding at keeping the pace fast enough but taking time to stop when we needed clarification. As a woman business owner with a director of administration who is a woman of color, it is not unusual for us to be in meetings with men where we are at best dismissed and at worst treated with derision. \[sensitive content hidden\]’s demeanor, intelligence and kindness were clear from the start. I know I can call \[sensitive content hidden\] with any question and that he’d do so with patience and humor. I can highly recommend Finix for both its platform and for the staff they hire. If you're looking for a new processing platform, make sure you talk with Finix. Phenomenal experience.

We started using Finix after having difficulties with a very large payment processor. We were able to get started relatively quickly and migrate our integration over to Finix. Working with Finix has been night-and-day better than the prior company. I wish we'd found Finix sooner!

Pros

Finix has a great solution and vastly better customer service than the big competitor we dealt with previously. Basically everything we wanted to do with the "other guys" works with Finix.

Cons

Finix documentation is slightly lacking at times. It remains good enough, but there's room to improve.

Pros

Finix allowed us to integrate and take control of payments within our product and swap out our current solution in weeks, not months. This boosted our revenue and controlled our customers' payment experience.

Nothing—Finix is a great product, and the team pushes out products and moves very quickly.
