Pros Saves my front desk team time trying to verify coverage for our patients. Cons No dislikes so far.....we have only been using it for a month. " April 11, 2023 5.0 Our overall experience with Zuub is very positive. They are such an innovative company, and consistently improving and making changes. So excited to see what the future holds for them and our relationship with them! Pros We love that Zuub is not only insanely user friendly on the patient end, but their customer service is truly outstanding in terms of providing support to providers. They will go above and beyond to make sure that we not only are getting the most use out of the software but they also add features for us when needed. And most importantly, we are able to send incredibly detailed invoices that we were previously having a hard time sending through our PMS. These have been a godsend for our billing dept. Cons We really dont have many complaints! The only thing I can think of us the sync time to our PMS. You do have to sit and wait a moment for things to update, but it's really not a painful wait. The complete Write back to Open Dental is the only real limitation/ Pros we love the instant verification and the automated use. Eliminates the Human write back errors Cons There is not write back, completely, into Open Dental at this time. Cause some extra work for staff. We know they are working on it. December 22, 2023 5.0 We have loved it from day one - our patients are doing more treatment the same day because we know in real time - what the benefits are and what remains in their dental maximums! We also show more confidence with presenting treatment because of Zuub. Pros The onboarding was extremely personable - detailed yet easy to navigate. Increasing our daily production was the biggest surprise! Cons It’s a stretch to find something that we didn’t like yet - my only request so far was to have personal contact with on boarding vs using the online tutorial. Reason for choosing Zuub The demo sold me in day one - it did take us a year to switch - which in hindsight we lost a year of uncapped revenue. We should not have waited. We set out looking for a better, more time-effective solution for insurance verification and found it with Zuub. Pros Zuub was very easy to use and provided the information our office needed in a clear, concise format. Cons Zuub is not compatible with cloud-based practice management software. Switched from [Eaglesoft](https://www.capterra.com/p/60064/EagleSoft-13-00/) We were using Patterson Dental Eaglesoft Real-Time Eligibility previously and found Zuub to be more informative in a clearer format. Anytime I had a question, a new password, or one of my payors stopped working, all I had to do was send one email, and I got a quick response and almost immediate fix to the issue. I really have no complaints; it's been a fantastic experience for me. Pros When our office finally decided to use a software program to verify insurance eligibility, I looked at at least 5 different platforms. I kept coming back to Zuub. They had eligibility with almost all of our major payors, the interface was simple and easy to navigate, you could look at your schedule day by day, and once you zoom in (LOL), you can see a lot of great information on their eligibility document saved in the patient chart. I don't want to be without this platform, it has saved many a patient from getting services they weren't covered by. Cons Probably the extra small print on the eligibility document. I have to Zoom in. I understand it's a lot of information to take in, so I don't mind. It saves me from having to log in to an insurance site and search for it manually. I used to spend 5 to 6 hours a day completing insurance verifications for patients. We have been using Zuub for 6 months and it was a seamless transition. I spend about 5 minutes a day on insurance verifications now! Pros The time we save in our office is night and day difference. Everyone at Zuub is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Pros Insurance breakdowns provided in the same format across different insurances. No more hunting through breakdowns for specific procedure information or limitations. Our eyes know where to go! Also, excellent customer service. Same day/lightning fast response time to requests for further customization of breakdowns by my customer success manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] My insurance coordinator said \[sensitive content hidden\] has handled everything I threw at her and was able to find a fix for any discrepancies I found!’ Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\] Cons If an insurance’s website has the information on their portal, Zuub will find a way to get that info into their breakdown. Unfortunately that means if the insurance’s website does not provide info on their site it won’t be included in your zuub. Thats not a zuub issue though and only applies to the few smaller insurance companies we have to call in for anyway. Pros Easy write backs to our practice software, always adding new carriers, \[sensitive content hidden\] is our Customer Service Manager and she has always been incredibly helpful and timely about addressing questions. She has reached out to me several times to let us know about new carriers we can add to the system, making my job much easier. The system can be tailored to our needs by changing the settings, which helped our productivity. If there are problems with not all the info coming through, the tech team is working on it right away and keeping us updated. Cons Sometimes it seems to take a while to run a manual verification on an individual, but I think that is more the carrier website than Zuub. Also, after letting Zuub know we were considering switching, they let us use both products simultaneously and Zuub was free. We went back after the trial period because Zuub was so much better for us. And honestly, it was refreshing to have a company work with us to keep us as customers in such a friendly way. It’s helped us focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks, which is so important in a pediatric setting. Cons When other insurance portals are having technical difficulties, Zuub is unable to relay that information. Ofterntimes Zuub will say that the insurance is inactive - but we have found that it can be due to insurance websites being down/not working. Unsure of how to fix this. Cons It doesn't work for perfectly for every insurance and does add a lot of extra documentation to the patients smart doc, which needs to be cleaned up after some time so there isn't too much information in the chart from past verifications. It has been a great asset to our overall production and collections numbers and it's very comprehensive and easy to use. Pros Zuub has allowed us to streamline both sides of our patient experience. The set up of Zuub allows for patients to be presented with a comprehensive treatment plan with explanations of services as well as allowing us to send detailed invoices. Cons Honestly, the most difficult thing about Zuub was that the staff needed to change the way they input treatment into Eaglesoft in order for it to sync. After a little while it was smooth sailing and our patients felt much more informed about their treatment.
