So I quickly reached out the Houzz- upon hearing from colleagues in my field- and they wouldn’t refund my money. In order to make up for the lost funds, we will have to complete a job that is outside of our business set: Building a deck/patio rather than culinary raised bed gardens. Pros It has a lot of functionality. Would work well for a landscaper/contractor in general business models Cons It doesn’t market to my specific niche. I also like the opportunity to have tools like the online payments the 3-D floorplans and the scan on the rooms that it’s easy to use and gives your client more credibility on your business Pros I think what I like the most is the customer service and support . Finding where some pieces are located is not intuitive, nor is locating where to ask for the right department for help. Pros I appreciated that the proposal through invoicing process was virtually the same so that I could keep moving forward with my business. However, since I joined in early June and I am still waiting for my onboarding appointment with my dedicated account rep and I have LOTS of questions. Cons There is a lot of feedback requested and very few intuitive places to respond with few "call to action" buttons and no "reply buttons" on emails. I also answered a call while driving and it was not an actual person, but a recording that sounded exactly like a prerecorded voice mail. The recording said that he wanted to learn all about my business and talked way too fast. But there was no way to respond and no way to write anything down since I was driving. Reason for choosing Houzz Pro I liked the idea of having one place where my accounting and marketing could be together. I was drawn to that level of functionality. The ability to scan a room with my Ipad, get accurate measurements and a floorplan in a matter of minutes, and use that floorplan to create an estimate via takeoffs is a game changer. Cons The only thing there was not to like about Houzz Pro was the cost, but all the features make it worth it for anyone serious in the construction business. Après deux ans d'abonnement sans résultats significatifs, dès la première année j'avais décidé d'annuler mon contrat. J'ai suivi les instructions claires affichées sur le site internet de Houzz pour annuler le renouvellement automatique de mon abonnement bien avant les 30 jours requis. J'ai même reçu un mail automatique confirmant que ma demande avait été prise en compte. Ci-dessous: "Nous avons reçu votre demande de résiliation Que se passe-t-il après ? Votre abonnement Houzz Pro ne sera pas renouvelé automatiquement. Notre équipe vous contactera rapidement pour répondre à vos questions et vous en poser quelques-unes. Vous continuerez à avoir accès à Houzz Pro jusqu'à la date de la résiliation." Malgré cela, ils ont automatiquement renouvelé mon abonnement sans fournir de justification valable, m'engageant ainsi à payer pour encore 12 mois. C'est en totale contradiction avec les instructions affichées et c'est très malhonnête. Je n'ai aucune envie de continuer cette expérience avec Houzz. Il semble que d'autres personnes soient également confrontées à cette situation. Faites très attention ! I believe the simplicity of the accounting part of the software with its integration to Quickbooks makes it well-worth the money. Pros The reason I switched to Houzz Pro is because of their integration with Quickbooks. It makes bookkeeping so much easier. I very much enjoyed working with Ivy Designer when Houzz had that software and hoped that Houzz Pro would be similar and it is. Houzz Pro has a lot to offer, maybe too much for my liking but I can ignore the parts I don't need to use. All in all, I enjoy the software a lot. Cons I'm not fond of the user interface for Houzz Pro as much as I liked the simplicity of the Ivy Designer interface. A lot is going on and sometimes I wish I could hide some features I do not use. If i have a question it is easly to chat with them. I still like to talk directly to a human when I have issues Pros I was working on the Ivy platform and made the switch to Houzz Pro when they Acquired Ivy. I love the 3D scanner as it is fairly accurate in measurements as well as square footage for flooring and wall materials. I love the fact that you can merge invoices together. The time clock is fabulous and allows for exact time you work on a project. I like that when you get to a clients you are alerted to see if you need to clock in. Houzz pro makes paying sales tax each month easy. The reports are great! Cons I would like to have a direct contact & speak to a live person as opposed to chatting with a robot. When you email support, they have called back a day or 2 later which is well after the time I need. Reason for choosing Houzz Pro I really did not look at any of the other companies. I was happy with Ivy and Houzz made it an easy switch allowing me to havae all the information from past projects pretty much in the same place.
