The change to their system was seamless. I highly recommend Campground Commander. Pros Excellent communication and support. Other options were too expensive or too limited Cons Tent campers are not allowed to book in a travel trailer campsite. We may be unusual in that we do allow that. Pros Campground Commander and their support team of website designers and software development and staff are excellent to work with. You can ALLWAYS reach them via phone. They helped us with a customized website and integration of the website into our unique RV Campground. They keep in touch with us weekly with a newsletter about the industry changes. I would highly recommend Campground Commander over the large corporate software firms. The individuals that work there are top notch! Cons Nothing so far the expierience is great, we look forward to working with them in years to come! They work hard to answer any technical questions I have. If they can't fix the problem they can usually provide a work around. I love that they are a family owned business. They genuinely care about their customers and it shows in their service. Pros I love the map of our camp ground and how the site is red if not available and green if available. Most customers book online and that saves us a good amount of office hours. Customer service is out standing. There is always someone available to help me with a problem. There have been some new releases that allow you to pin a picture of each campsite and that has been very nice. Cons The reports as far as site performance, weekly performance, monthly performance is lacking. There are few reports and I don't find them very useful in campground performance. I find my self having to download reports and taking that data and making my own reports. Very time consuming. Customers can reserve one site at a time. It would be nice if it were possible to reserve all the sites they want at one time. Reason for choosing Campground Commander They were the most personal. We were a brand new campground and \[sensitive content hidden\] took her time helping me understand the ins and outs and trained me on the functionality. Now they offer to train ALL of our team members Cons Any change I wanted to see, to help me use the program more efficiently was communicated and usually worked into the lrogram. " March 27, 2024 5.0 Pros Campground commander is so so easy to use. I have hardly had any issues at all using the software in the 6 months that we have been using it. When I do have questions, the customer service is phenomenal. It’s unlike any other company I’ve worked with before. They truly care about how our business is doing and they are always checking in to see if they can improve in any areas. Cons I can’t think of a single thing I dislike about campground commander! Cons They do not have maintenance scheduling for the maintenance department. Because we market to family owned campgrounds the majority of them are family owned/managed and do all of the maintenance themselves so would not use maintenance scheduling software. We build our software to the needs and specifications of our customers and do not at this time see adding maintenance scheduling capabilities. They are great people to work with and will take the time to listen to you Pros Campground Commander Reservations were so easy to learn and they are always available to answer any questions or fix anything that might need fixing. They keep adding more features and gladly take recommendations if you want something added. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] can't wait to add something new!! They are very easy to work with unlike corporations where you can't talk to a live person. Cons I can't say there is anything I didn't like. Maybe a few minor changes have been made. We purchased an existing campground with paper and pen reservation system that was not going to work for us. We’ve had great support from Campground Commander from Day 1. My guests love the ease of making a reservation. Pros The customer service is top-notch! You won’t find the quality of their training and help anywhere else. Pros Having an online reservation system has been a great improvement to our occupancy numbers. Our reservations have vastly improved by having an online reservation system for our campground. Cons It's a really good system, the only drawback is that at times to do something you need to text for help but I think that would be true for every online system. the good thing is that the staff are very quick to respond back and help you easily. I was easy to set everything as campground commander did it all for us. Pros It eliminated 90 percent of the phone calls we used to receive. Detailed reports are available, including the ability to double check our tax computations. Cons I believe the ability to show pictures of individual campsites is in the process of being implimented.
