It allows us to keep tabs on where our vehicles are and where they have traveled. And the price is much more affordable than other GPS/fleet products. Pros One Step GPS is highly functional with an affordable price. Users can customize key settings, and the product is easy to use. The historical playback is awesome! A lot of information available with the new One Step GPS version. Cons Maybe put settings in a separate section than on the left bottom so it is easier to spot and access? Other than that, I like how customizable it is! Pros We have been using One Step GPS for over 3 years. As the person who monitors the GPS for the company, I can tell you that I have rarely had any issues with the units. When I did have a few minor issues, or needed information, it was easily found within the help section or I simply do a message chat with One Step. They are helpful, knowledgeable, thorough, and polite. I could not recommend them enough! Cons Reloading several times a day is the only issue I have. Reason for choosing One Step GPS Price and features and ease of use. Also mobile capabilities so the owner of our company could check the vans periodically. We have set up several users, our dispatchers have apps on their phones so they can determine when the tech is ready for their next call, how long until their next arrival time, how long they have been somewhere (helps with billing). January 24, 2025 5.0 Having One step GPS has changed the way I track my drivers and has helped hold them accountable for their time spent on the road. I used to use Geo Tab and that service was not great at all, One step has certainly been a huge improvement. Pros Real time tracking is great, I love being able to see my drivers at all time as well as their speed. I love being able to see if they break hard or take a corner to hard. being able to see how long they stop and where is a great feature for me. Cons Theres not too many cons to One step. All the features work good and are very helpful to me. The physical devises would frequently stop working and need to be reset, this would often happen while I had a driver on the road, and I would no longer be able to see their location. They are attentive and have aided in everything we have been doing. Pros I think they have a great staff and pay a great deal of attention to their customers. All the updates they have had on their system are helpful to the customer and how a fleet should run. Cons I think the system edit details are a little clunky. While not impossible, I would like to see the edit details for my fleet as a sidebar option, not a complete menu change. The only time I have every had to contact customer support is when setting up new systems. They have always been very easy to get a hold of and very friendly and professional. Pros Highly Accurate and easy to use. The onine interface is also great. I love how it helps me keep track of all my maintenance needs. Cons Honestly nothing. Great Service! " February 17, 2025 5.0 10/10 stars! The customer service is fantastic, and the camera systems have been great for training and insurance purposes. But 100% the ease of installation and use is amazing. And the price is great! Im thinking of getting these for my personal vehicles too. Pros All of the features! This is a fantastic service for the price. It takes the majority of worry off my plate. I always know where my fleet vehicles are, as well as how long they are there, and if my drivers are "ahem" doing what they are supposed to be doing! I know my equipment is safe, and I dont have to remember when we had oil changes last. Plus I love the fact that I can send my teams short msgs. Cons The phone app. I basically just use it to see where my guys are, but the software is so much easier to use on a computer. We have only recently begun to use the maintenance tracking system within this program Cons The only con I feel so far is that the tracking devices can fall out or be unplugged pretty easily. It is not just about checking on where my staff are at around town. Because sometimes I need talk with one of them and I know exactly where they are so I can go to them. Pros Great program. I can track where all of my staff are at any time, as well as, know how long they have been there. While we have not had to use the feature there is valuable information available if someone is in an accident. Everything is all at my fingertips anytime I need it. They track with great accuracy and they the way the connect to the vehicles computer had made tracking maintenance on our vehicles a breeze. When we have had any small issue with a unit, the technical support staff have been fast and helpful. Pros The ease of setting up and building the reports that meat our needs. Cons Honestly, I haven't found a downside. In the beginning we had a few units that stopped working and had to be replaced, but since that time they have been perfectly with no issues. The video of the theft was of no use to the police. So, when I purchased a replacement trailer I installed a solar powered One Step GPS on the roof. Now I am given a notice if the trailer moves and it tracks its location. I can track the thieves down!!! Pros One Step GPS gives me peace of mind. I installed the solar powered unit on the roof of my trailer and easily connected it to the application on my phone. Being able to see their history from site to site helps keep track of proper job costing/labor charges. Pros The accuracy of locations and the weather overlay are invaluable to our company. Cons Not company-specific, but areas where GPS signal is weak or interrupted are problematic. In a State with mountain ranges and plenty of trees, sometime acquiring signal can be challenging.
