Our subscription was automatically renewed in January, but we have not used the service since the renewal and no longer need it. Despite this, AppTweak has outright refused to prorate the remaining 10 months or offer any refund, which is completely unacceptable. We expected a fair resolution based on our usage, yet customer support was unhelpful, merely citing company policy without any willingness to find a reasonable solution. This lack of flexibility and disregard for customer concerns is frustrating and unprofessional. Holding on to a significant amount of upfront payment for a service we are not using feels unfair and exploitative. We are extremely disappointed with AppTweak’s approach and would caution others to consider this before subscribing. While it was immensely useful for performing keyword research and competitive analysis, we found that a lot of the functionality was always locked against extra paywalls and the keyword research for languages other than English was limited. At the same time, AppTweak is an intuitive tool that can be useful for ASO optimisation with its optimisation scores and suggestions, so it was still very helpful despite those shortcomings. Pros The interface is quite intuitive and easy to get around. The stats for the Android and iOS apps are displayed separately. AppTweak is also great for ASO optimisation thanks to the recommendations and optimisation scores it offers, as well as the extensive keyword research functionality both through keyword search and through analysing competitors. Cons This tool is on the pricier side, especially for a startup like us. Another problem we faced is that the keyword research for stats in languages other than English doesn't yield results that are as fruitful as in the case of English keywords. It's understandable that the search volume is lower than with English, but we think that in that case other languages should have a different benchmark instead of displaying minimal volume, etc. across the board. They don't care about their customers, all they care about is extracting as much money from you as they can and will downgrade your plan limits anytime. Pros I was Subscribed to AppTweak since Feb 2020 and really enjoyed the ASO features but most recently they have downgraded all the previous subscribers to a lower plan with less features. This is a classic bait and switch and not sure how people are letting them get away with this. Cons The Support is pathetic and won't respond to you for days. My query remain unanswered for days and AppTweak team kept on trying to avoid my questions when i asked them why my current plan suddenly has changed limits. It's as if i was downgraded while paying the same amount of money as before. AppTweak treat their customers really bad and I would never in a million years recommend them to any App company.
