Overall, very satisfied. I have my data capturer using Zoho due to the fact that I have only one license for multiple connections. It works for her, so we are all happy.

Pros

The resolution on pc you are connecting to is much better than on ie Anydesk. File transfer is also very easy via Teamviewer. Much better value for money than any other for what you get. I use Teamviewer only.

Cons

I do not like the new interface at all. Still using the old one. The resolution has to be adjusted on connecting pc to work and that annoys the client.

I have used Teamviewer for 10 years on and off, and the product works the exact same as it always has: really well. While I have concerns about security and the lack of new features that could be added to this, it is a strong tool for businesses looking to get something up and running.

Pros

Teamviewer is a great entry level tool for unattended access to use with an RMM, or on it's own. It has consistently strong support and can be implemented for any type of customer.

Cons

Some security concerns exist for connection passwords and static Device IDs based on the system that could lead to a compromised device, but hardening methods have improved significantly. I still have fears about some tooling that remains to be addressed.

Other than devices randomly losing ability to be connected to and requiring hands on approach to get the remote client working again we have had good experiences with Teamviewer alongside Microsoft CCM as a backup

Pros

Easy to use and configure making it simple to transition to adding new users and groups to view and share remote connections between internal and external sources.

Cons

The functionality for the most part is pretty basic compared to other platforms out there, however it does everything required for day to day troubleshooting as long as the connection/services don't randomly break and need the remote management side reconfigured.

Excellent client for providing remote IT and technical support. Works well, and rarely have any connection issues.

Pros

The TeamViewer Quick Support software allows you to connect onto machines without installing anything or requiring administrator permissions

Cons

When the new interface was launched last year, we had multiple complaints from customers that it was difficult to use, and unclear of where the ID/passwords could be found.

Best tool to use for remote management and I used them all. Tech support had all the right answers when a configuration TeamViewer problem arose

Pros

The ability to immediately respond to my customers problems prevents minor problems from becoming major ones

Cons

The inability to manage multiple customers from one common TeamViewer management station as a result must use a second or third station to access a second or third customer

Best product to use and would recommend it. TeamViewer has made our company's network management easier, and allowed us an opportunity to give the best quality to our clients.

Pros

Reliability, user friendly, Value for money and makes remote management easy. I like that it makes managing multiple connections easier and quicker.

Cons

New platform doesn't show the down time. I prefer seeing that info as it makes it easier to know how long I have been down for. Makes the management of devices more effective.

Has worked very well for many years, including applying updates where they are required by the government and I have not connected in over a year or so.

Pros

I maintain software across Canada. I can send required updates easily, and adjust settings in the users system easily. And It can find an existing users connection point even when their network changes.

Cons

Annual license for me, mostly on one compute (and sometimes on my traveling laptop) is higher than I would like. Sometimes, on distant sites, it might take two or three tries to connect.

Overall I am satisfied. It's complicated and not always user friendly but your staff help bridge that gap.

Pros

Having tech support when needed. Ease of getting remote access when needed and excellent file transfer ability. That is my favorite feature. I was literally able to use a scoring app on one computer while testing someone from the other. Very versitile and makes me able to work from 2 locations at once.

Cons

At times it refuses Easy Access and demands the other machine's pw which is always changing. Then easy access later resumes and I'm able to use it.

Excellent as a user for 15 years. But the new version is more difficult to use. Sorting devices is not available in all views.

Pros

Reliability of connection to be access is always good. Connections are fast regardless of the internet connection speed.

Cons

Interface is not as simple as it used to be. It takes about 6 seconds connect to the main interface. Listing of devices needs to be more flexible.

file transfer. The chat feature is very useful too. I like the black screen feature that allows me to perform my work without the customer watching secret or confidential information.

Cons

Can't use in more computers, can only register 3 devices. If a device fails or gets replaced, need to register another and have a very limited quantity. This should be free

TeamViewer has always been great to work with. Overall I give them 2 thumbs up. So far they have fixed every problem I've had.

Pros

TeamViewer always helps me no matter the problem. They are fast and very knowledgeable. I love that they can get in to my computer and fix it.

Cons

I don't like that I have to call sometimes. There are times my team viewer won't hook up or stay hooked up.

Great tool for remote work, I’m very happy with speed and stability. I recommend TeamViewer to anyone.

Pros

Fast & stable connections, useful features and intuitive interface. Also they gave me a free year of subscription for being a TeamViewer 11 customer 🫶

Cons

Expensive but well worth the price. New interface was confusing at first but I’ve gotten used to it.

Grundsätzlich wie schon beschrieben, funktioniert Teamviewer sehr gut. Wir hatten Teamviewer auch schon mehrere Jahre im Einsatz, aber dann kam eine riesige Preissteigerung - weil eben der Funktionsumfang drastisch zugenommen hatte, ich aber die Funktionen nicht nutzte. Das ist ähnlich wie wenn man beim Autokauf einen Wohnanhänger dazubekommt - ob man will oder nicht, der ist dabei und man muß ihn auch bezahlen...

Pros

Funktioniert sehr gut, Teamviewer hat nur selten bis gar keine Funktionsstörungen

Cons

Kann zuviel, ist zu teuer. Der Funktionsumfang von Teamviewer nimmt immer weiter zu, dabei sind Dinge, die ich nicht von einem Fernwartungstool benötige. Ein halbes RMM gibt es im Preis dazu (man muss es leider mitkaufen).

La experiencia es positiva, es fácil de usar por las dos partes. Aunque he usado otros, son los propios usuarios asistidos lo que solicitan TeamViewer, por lo que su uso se vuelve prácticamente obligatorio.

Pros

La he usado muchas veces. La mayoría de usuarios con perfil medio bajo la conocen y confían, por lo que es fácil pedirles que la instalen.

Cons

La única pega es el factor precio para la pequeña empresa. Me gustaría un pago por conexión. Hay clientes que solo conecto una vez y no está pensado para esos casos de uso. No me dedico a las conexiones frecuentes, solo lo uso para principiantes con ordenador. Y es en este punto donde pierde usabilidad.

Overall it was easy to deploy, but I had some struggles with the MSI initially, and had to deploy it manually to most of my devices. This wasn't a huge issue but for larger orgs they wouldn't have this issue most likely as their software deployment solutions would be better suited.

Pros

The ability to remotely connect to the PCs within my organization has been a massive time save for myself and my team.

Cons

The patch management/deployment software solution is still quite new and therefore is not nearly as robust as some software. It doesn't allow me to schedule installs, or retry amounts, so I just have to resend the command and hope that it works.
