Nel complesso, la mia esperienza con TeamViewer è stata positiva, soprattutto per la gestione continuativa di più dispositivi. Ho trovato molto utile la possibilità di salvare alcune macchine tra i dispositivi gestiti e accedervi rapidamente quando serve. Apprezzo anche la possibilità di regolare i parametri della qualità video, registrare automaticamente le sessioni e utilizzare il WebViewer dal browser senza dover installare ogni volta il client. Tra gli aspetti meno convincenti ci sono l’interfaccia grafica, che a mio parere risulta piuttosto pesante e non sempre intuitiva, e il sistema di accesso occasionale tramite ID e password, che può risultare poco pratico, specialmente quando le credenziali cambiano spesso.

Pros

Possibilità di aggiungere determinate macchine ai pc in gestione, per poterci accedere in qualsiasi istante. Possibilità di scegliere i parametri relativi alla qualità video dello streaming. Possibilità di registrare automaticamente ogni sessione all'avvio. WebViewer per connettersi ai dispositivi tramite finestra del browser senza dover necessariamente installare il client.

Cons

Pesantezza e poca intuitività dell'interfaccia grafica. Per l'accesso remoto occasionale non pratica la presenza del condice dispositivo associato ad una password che talvolta spesso scade frequentemente.

I love the product and the support staff has been quite accommodating until as of lately. It is quite useful when clients are either away or unable to have me come personally to their homes/businesses

Pros

Excellent Resource for myself and my clients. I like the options and so do my clients of being able to access the computers remotely.

Cons

I have heard that the service is due to be discontinued as the online portion is being dismantled and I own my copy. If that is going to be discontinued where you are going to force me to pay a monthly charge for a product I bought already I will go somewhere else.

It is simple to navigate, easy to learn and use, and provides many opportunities for our business partners to collaborate with our company. This not only teaches our customers different strategies for problem-solving, but also develops excellent opportunities for building great relationships with our customers.

Pros

Teamviewer is an absolute essential for me. It is the most helpful business solution we have and our customer service depends on it.

Cons

There has only been one instance where I did not have what I needed within Teamviewer. It is a big inconvenience and pain-point, but not a deal-breaker. There is no way to export a list of End Point computers. In the forums, this was a frequently-discussed frustration by multiple customers, and one that could be addressed without too much development time/hours.

### "Great Solution for Quick Support Response and for Saving Resources"

I currently use TeamViewer to manage in store PC Based Television Customer Infomation Boards (Videos & Stills); specialised Music, Announcements and Hourly Clock Chime PC conected to store PA systems; and also to remotely provide IT support close family and friends. TeamViewer has simplified support of this immensly.

Pros

TeamViewer is simple and easy to use, customer support is available, file sharing is quite easy using the built in file transfer feature and removes the need of USB stick file transfers on site. In fact, the remote file transfer feature is one of the best I've ever used and quite fast. TeamViewer is usually stable, but can sometimes stop running in the background on remote linux PCs (Zorin 18 OS specifically) when the local network is unstable. Excluding the bug reported herein, TeamViewer actually saves me a heap of time; decreases the need for carrying equipment and; also many emergency site visits. To enhance the overall effectiveness of using TeamViewer I also have TAPO P100 plugs attached to my remote PC's for remote power down hard reboots as a backup. TeamViewer is great value for money based on the savings of in person transport and consequently the time that would otherwise be lost.

Cons

The deamon or background service dropping occaisionally on Zorin 18 Linux PCs. Zorin 18 is a relatively new release and that might have introduced some unforseen issues, possibly also related to an unstable WiFi netwrok yet to be replaced soon. I expect that these issues may disappear as the Linux community streamlines the new release further or when the network is upgraded.

Despite a few drawbacks, TeamViewer has been a dependable and efficient tool for us. It saves a lot of time, makes remote support simple, and consistently performs well. We’re overall very satisfied and plan to keep using it.

Very easy to use — even non-technical users can follow the connection steps. Stable and fast remote sessions — works smoothly even on average internet connections. Cross-platform support — Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile apps — everything connects seamlessly. Great for remote troubleshooting — screen sharing, file transfer, and session recording are extremely helpful. Strong security — two-factor authentication and session logs provide good peace of mind

Cons

Occasionally the remote session freezes or lags, especially during large file transfers or when switching displays, and sometimes the connection drops unexpectedly, requiring a full reconnect to continue working smoothly.

I support clients across Australia and mostly using Teamviewer. On-site visits can be kept to a minimum meaning better value for the client and the ability for me to do more in the one day.

Pros

Have been using Teamviewer for many years and unlike other similar products it remains consistent. Very easy to use, small footprint on the client machine, and simple to activate a new connection.

Cons

The latest "new" layout does not seem as friendly as the old version when using a computer as the master. I don't use TV on a mobile phone and it seems the newer layout is designed more for phone use.

### "Ease of Access"

My overall experience with Teamviewer has be favorable. I like the mobile capabilities. It has saved me many times while on the road

What I like most about Teamviewer is Ease of Access. I have been using Teamviewer for about 13 years and found it to be very reliable.

Cons

What I don't like about is sometimes it may not connect. There have been several occassions where I could not access remote hst and had to use a different remote access software.

To be honest, as long as my end users have internet access I have nothing to dislike about TeamViewer.

Experience has been very good especially having worked IT support in northern Montana where driving 75 miles to help a client was just out of the question. Working with the client with my TV was phenomenal

Pros

The full administrative rights (capability) to manage hosts completely. Connectivity with even slower host internet connections has been great. Customer support with a client's host hundreds of miles away made my job a lot easier. TV's capabilities

Cons

For me as a small IT person supporting a small number of hosts, the cost having to go to v15.x from my 12 was a bit overwhelming, even with the 2-for-1 rate. A feature that may be impossible I could have used several times is the capability to access a hosts BIOS. Ended having to go to the client's home to resolve issues that required BIOS access.

I find Teamviewer still the best software for remote support the user, especially dealing with those user no knowledge how to install to allow remote access

Pros

Centralize access control by policy is very easy to use and prevent unauthorize access and easy to deploy

Cons

Too costly but we have no choice to use as it easy to deploy without much end user efforts. Another issue on auto terminated application when too many tab opened.

### "Still love it..."

I've been with TV from their beginning and i loved it. Until they started to pack in it as many features as they could think about. It was a sleek, reliable tool, sitting in the corner somewhere and let me to connect with any resource just by double click on the name. IF (And it is a very big IF) I needed any details, i could call them up through 'Properties' Now it is a huge monster half-screen size with tons of unneeded information, icons and whatnot. To connect with something you need to go through the whole series of clicks and manipulations. I'm not even talking about totally unfamiliar look which you really need to learn. It seems all companies compete in changing their interfaces and poor users have to waste their time for learning a new interfaces of this program and that program instead of simply continue to work. And attempts to pack in a 1000 of features into one program is disastrous. Giving you a free idea - make a 'Light' version, just for remote control, as the initial version was - it will be sold by a landslide, I'll be the first in line. Not that I expect you to do that :)

Pros

There are many good things to be said about TV. I am with TV since their very first versions and it says something about its quality, given it never has been on cheap side. I don't have to think about what to install - i always install a full client. This allows me to log in to ANY computer with full client and work as from your own computer, all resources available, familiar workspace. Means I can go to any location, find spare machine, log in and access any server or workstation/laptop. Gives me an unmatched freedom and makes my life as an IT manager and life of my admins so much easier. Also, Teamviewer is extremely reliable and connects through any firewalls with ease.

Cons

Interface. The very first interface was slim, simple, logical and easy to use. Took a little from screen space, could be moved somewhere in the corner. Double click connected you to any machine. Now it is heavy and huge monster with no logic whatsoever. Hard to navigate. Tons of unneeded details. To do a simple thing requires to navigate to it through a pile of totally nonsensical icons and even after that you need to specifically choose what to do instead of simple double click on the name of the resource. Chat window, taking a quarter of the screen? Seriously? I need chat only to ask a few quick questions; it is not my main area where my work is. I seriously consider looking for alternative, especially having in mind that TV is very heavy priced, it is becoming a burden for our midsize business.

I rely on TeamViewer everyday and it has never let me down. It’s more than just remote connection software and they evolving into many different areas. Working in manufacturing the new software and hardware solutions are amazing. We are currently testing some of their new software solutions which allows our engineers support engineers in a different plant and country.

Pros

After trying many different remote connection software solutions over the last decade I can honestly say thatTeamViewer is my favourite. It’s easy to use, reliable and more importantly secure.

Cons

I didn’t like there new dashboard upgrade at first, but now I’m used to it I really like it.like everything it’s different and most people don’t like change.

### "My Business depends on Teamviewer"

I started using Teamviewer to be able to access my business server from home to be able to do work in the evening. I later found it really useful when traveling to be able to work from a hotel room and catch up on what was happening at my retail store. But I have never needed it more nor appreciated it more than I do now. In 2024 I moved back to Canada even though my business continued to operate with my staff in place in North Carolina. I live in a very remote location with no access except via a one mile boat trip. I am fortunate to have a good internet connection there and Teamviewer now allows me to manage and operate my business 900 miles away from it. This would not be possible without my Teamviewer software.

Pros

Teamviewer was easy to set up initially and now is now almost automated on my computer. Since I use it almost daily, it has become a thought-free part of my day.

Cons

I honestly don't have a response for this question. I have not compared it with other similar products and have no desire. Teamviewer does everything I need it to do.

### "Disappointing Service"

I have been a teamviewer customer for a number of years and realised I was paying for the more expensive product which I haven't required for some time. When I asked to down grade to a more affordable option I was advised that I had to pay for the higher rate for 12 months before I could downgrade. I have decided not to use the product purely for this reason.

Pros

Very easy to use, file sharing is great no bugs or issues. This allows working remotely with clients and contractors.

Cons

Expensive for an individual, do not consider this product value for money. There are many free options available now.

### "The by-default choice for remote login"

The overall experience is good from all points of view: my way of using it as Admin and as well as the customer usage who do not have to do much. It is very good to work with, in a team, and provides a time saving opportunity. File sharing and bug recognision is also a good thing, that helps debugging the cases that we have with our customers / colleagues.

Pros

I believe that in the last five years or more, TeamViewer is for me the first choice to use in order to remotely connect to other PC and provide assistance, both in personal use mode (my mom, my dad...) as well as at work for customer support inside the company. It is easy and intuitive.

Cons

The last version is quite complicated to use and you need a lot of time to install it in host mode on the PC. Also you have to do some tests to be sure that all works fine. The value for money is great especially in the free version, even if it is limited to 3 accounts / email address.

If it wasnt the price parameter it would definitly hold the first place. Considering pricing TeamViewer is between my 2 top options for remote support tool.

Pros

Ease of use, File sharing & transferring, Team collaboration, Support during working days (9-5), Security

Cons

The price is not very competitive to other remote support tools. Support cant be reached after 5pm. Compatibility with older OSs like Win7 (on the installable version) can be tricky sometimes

I love TeamViewer and recommend it constantly to those who experience issues of connectivity while working remotely; many coworkers complain that other services are unreliable, so I always tell them about TeamViewer.

Pros

TeamViewer is the best service to keep all my devices connected while I process tasks for both my job and for my volunteer work. It's a lifesaver when I'm forced to work from home as well.

Cons

When I have contacted TeamViewer in the past for service assistance, the instructions have been convoluted with unnecessary steps involved or steps provided out of order with excess information that was not pertinent to the task as hand. They need to work on making that process more concise, and just follow a simple chronological order without embellishments to get customers up and running as quickly as possible.

We have found TeamViewer to be a multinational, multilingual platform that enables seamless file and data transfer. The ease of use and near 100% uptime make this our preferred platform.

Pros

Ease of use. We use TeamViewer to access files on a corporate server based in another country. This software enables seamless file transfer regardless of locale.

Cons

The number of concurrent users is limited unless you subscribe to an enterprise-level subscription. We have five users who could access the software simultaneously, but we are limited to 3. This ends up requiring resource rationing.

stable connection most of time, Working even with Internet not good, cycber security compliance support is great

Cons

New software interface is aweful! Anti-human software ui and configuration setting page is very confusing

During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, TeamViewer made a significant difference in enabling work to be done. Now, it is essential for my team to provide quality support to our users.

Pros

I appreciate how easily this application allows me to access clients' computers for support. It's been a game-changer, far superior to other products I’ve used.

Cons

The price tag and inflexibility of the contract. My office needed to extend or modify the contract timeframe, but account management was unable to provide the necessary changes.

J'aime bien depuis le temps que je connais. Parfois certains bogues font que cela ne fonctionne pas bien mais dans l'ensemble je suis satisfait.

Pros

J’aimerais un jour avoir des clients qui sont envoyés par Teamviewer pour faire plus d’argent. Ça serait pratique que l'entreprise puisse envoyer des clients vers son "load case".

Cons

Le prix... parfois... pour ce que cela rapporte! Le service... anglais | français parfois, c'est compliqué!

I liked using TeamViewer, and had no issues with the product. It was easy to use and very convenient.

Pros

TeamViewer is easy to use and works well. I didn't experience any delays when remotely connected to a client PC. TeamViewer is a great tool for remote support.

Cons

The yearly license fee for TeamViewer for a small operation like my own business was more expensive than other solutions like DualMon. I switched to DualMon to save some money, but DualMon sometimes disconnects from the client during a session whereas this wasn't an issue with TeamViewer.

Very good. The new interface does not add up any value for us. It is a real nuisance. The web interface is not clear enough and there are too many options available on the screen that are useless.

Pros

What I like most of Teamviewer is its ease of use. It is very easy to a new client to download and provide them for immediate support.

Cons

Many pseudo improvements are only cumbersone We use it for remote training and little support. The "new" interface is no better than the original. File transfer is every day slower.
