Pros

I like that many parts of my job have been automated making it easier.

Cons

Buildops does not allow for many mistakes. Editing mistakes is very difficult especially when first implementing the program. The integration with Quickbooks took 6 months with multiple issues. The planned maintenance agreement needs a lot more work to ease the use of it. I wish there was a way to indicate to dispatch when one was ready to schedule for the month.

Very positive experience with BuildOps. I am still learning and the BuildOps support team is incredible. Our BuildOps Account Manager is extremely responsive and helpful whenever we need him. And he understands our business model which allows him to make recommendations on how we can enhance our utilization of the tool.

Pros

Utilization for new project quotes, visibility for managing our proposal pipeline, customization of data for downloading into Excel, and specific reporting for our Accounting needs.

Cons

No cons or negatives that I can think of.

Pros

Everybody is on the same page and we are able to communicate with customers efficiently when someone is out of the office

Cons

When new updates to the platform come out the engineering mistakes can interrupt our operations

Overall, we love BuildOps . There are a few little quirks and kinks that we are still trying to work around/figure out, but as a whole, this software has made our day to day much easier!!

Pros

We love the project management side of BuildOps! It really puts all of the information that you need into one central location. Finding PO's and AIA documents is much easier than before! We also love the ease of use of the software to generate pay applications.

Cons

The time tracking feature is one that we have not used at all. It is very complicated, and I don't feel as if we had enough "Onboarding" to fully appreciate this feature. We have also had a few issues with incorrect amounts being generated on Pay Applications; however, the engineering team is currently trying to determine the root of that issue.

My overall experience has been great. Anytime there has been a problem the customer service has been quick to help fix the problem. Training videos have help us to train new employees. If would like for additional reporting that fits our business they will make us that report. Just great a business to work with.

Pros

Its All-In-One Management software for our company. The data it provides is crucial to our business. Few clicks of a button and I can have the information I need to know to make decisions for our business. Software is easy to work out of. Not very difficult at all to use.

Cons

I don't really have anything I don't like about the BuildOps. Its exactly what our business needs.

It seems that the software needs a few more years of development to be branded as a premium software, there are many bugs and the software's function and work flow is not congruent throughout.

Pros

Having the schedule connect directly to jobs works well, seeing visit information for the techs in the field.

Cons

There is a lot of information however it is not always easy to find or view in a useful manner. It seems like there are many ways to customize the software however few of the customizations are ways that we need it to be.

Pros

Outstanding customer service and user-friendly system. The ability to include accounting and operation on the same platform is a plus.

Cons

Service agreements need improvement on tasking and assets. Project needs improvement on gatt chart Reporting does not show all the data we expect such as the total cost of the contract.

The experience has been great overall, and continues to be a valuable asset for our company.

Pros

The seamless transition from starting a job -> purchasing parts -> assigning a technician - > completing the job -> and billing, has saved us hours of busy work in the office and the technicians are really enjoying the ability to see what's up and coming in their week. The purchasing department has found the attachment of PO's to Jobs very refreshing for tracking down job costs.

Cons

Monthly calendar for upcoming service (annual inspections) would be a huge asset for both scheduling, and reaching out to clients in advance vs the current excel spreadsheet.The forms are very limited in functionality with no integrated logic.

When I first started with the company , there were so many mistakes and trial and error due to previous administrative problems. \[sensitive content hidden\] has spent a lot of time helping me get things straightened out. Dispatching and billing are extremely user friendly.

Cons

The lack of accessibility in certain areas. Once a tech completes a visit, I get locked out of the visit to adjust the things they neglected to enter pr adjust their time correctly.

Preventative maintenance agreements, evaluations, and monitoring - makes it easier to know where we are at any given time rather than having to look in several places. It's also improved by having excellent integrations with our accounting program.

Pros

BuildOps has helped us grow in a variety of ways. We were initially drawn in by the reporting and automation features. We've gained a lot of insight into our business, which has helped us enhance our dispatching, agreements, and tracking to become a better run company. Above all, the customer assistance and training are excellent.

Cons

Our sales process doesn't quite map to the software out of the box. This might be unique to us but we've found workarounds.

It managed Dispatching very well. I like how easy it is to create a job and schedule. Being able to move jobs around on week view is my favorite.

I can't say too much for other functions because I do not use them too much. I like BuildOps overall.

Pros

The amount of information it houses. THe ability to run a report on almost anything. This wild be a huge benefit in the future one the implementation is complete.

Cons

Figuring out how to maneuver around the reports. There is so much information it takes awhile to create the views needed.

It allows to create quotes very quickly. Can track jobs well, one easy place to keep job related documents.

Cons

Phone version and computer version are very different and loss of information between the two. No drag and drop feature for files.

BuildOps helps coordinate our maintenance schedule, provide quick quotes, and keep jobs organized from start to finish. They also have a fantastic team that helps with any questions or issues you have. It is also very customizable to what your company needs.

Buildops is still developing to best meet our company's needs so some issues arise but they are resolved or addressed by the service team in a very timely manner.

I think the integration to this software is difficult, especially for employees who are not used to using project management software. There are lot of functions and things dependent on other inputs.

I liked the buckets until the latest update. It was easier to keep track of what jobs needed to be billed out. The new update doesn't keep track as well as the buckets did.

Cons

The only issue I have with BuildOps is after 50 visits the system will start to load slower. Has some kinks but don't they all!!
