Pros Veed has allowed us to create videos and pre-recorded presentations, with features like adding audio/voiceovers into videos, Text to speech and subtitles. Cons The Elements are limited, and projects cannot be split into parts. For eg a course of five modules, the project cannot be split into these modules. Five separate projects must be created. It bridges the gap between using canva and using premier pro / after effects. Pros The ease of use and web based platform make it easy to access from any computer. If we need to do quick edits then this is what we use. Cons Becuase it is web based however there can be performance issue. Would love to see a system version of it that uses the power of your hardware. February 28, 2026 5.0 Visual communication is effective with the guests as a Customer Service Lead. I am using it to make quick property tours and frequently asked video clips. It is very friendly to the novice, but usage of large files is buggy. Pros The convenience in creation of videos is amazing and the user-friendly nature of the product enables our hospitality department to create interesting tours of our properties within a very short time without any prior knowledge. Cons Video editing at a more advanced level has an unexpectedly steep learning curve, and the customer service is entirely uncooperative when the system inevitably crashes in the process of a lengthy save and export. There are so many bugs and errors in their software, you'll spend most of your time pulling your hair out! VEED is probably one of the worst editing softwares I've ever used, and way over priced for what they offer. Any time I had issues with the platform, I'd reach out to support and their answer was always the same; "We checked with the developer and there's nothing they can do about it." Well then why are you charging people money to use your crappy platform?!? The AI parts of VEED are awful, the eye correct changes your eye colour and makes you look like some sort of mutant. The "remove background" tool is a joke. Nothing more to say about that. And one of the most frustrating parts of using their platform, was that the system would change things that you've finished and revert them back to previous versions without warning or the ability to recover your lost work. So, you'll waste ridiculous amounts of time replicating work you've already done. It was absolutely maddening! I've moved over to CapCut, which I wish I had been using all along. They're system is far more intuitive, compatible with my projects, and is about 1/3 the cost of VEED. Pros There really aren't any good things to say about this platform. Leaving pricing aside, the tool is average at best. You can get many more features from competitors, which also offer ease of use and have AI features that are actually intelligent and are available at half the cost. Pros It's clean audio feature is good and UI is easy to understand. Overall the tool is intuitive and good for users looking for a simple video editing tool. Cons AI features are garbage, and it's video editing features are not clean enough. The tool will give you some initial kick but overall you will always feel like your videos are either coming in poor quality. VEED deceptively offers limited access to these features on lower-tier plans, making you believe they’re included—only to upsell you later. Their pricing strategy feels intentionally misleading, and the lack of a real refund policy means you’re stuck if you’re not satisfied. It’s a bait-and-switch setup. Cons Do not waste your time, no support or cusomer service, they do noit answer questions and basically ignor any problems you have. I was satisified with the program until I ran into an issue and there AI responses are a mess and noi help. After 5 frustrating days of trying to get help, I canceled. Forget calling the numvber on the billing, it is busy 24/7. The worst part is I have reached out to support several times and nothing has ever been resolved. They won't even give me a refund even though I am not able to use the software. Pros Nothing as I have not been able to create a video with this platform for the past 4 months due to the number of glitches. Social Media Manager Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Got Fooled by Veed.io" October 25, 2022 1.0 Veed.io organized a referral campaign claiming that they will reward users 1 month PRO plan for every new user they invite to the platform. I'm working in a video production company and I invited more than 10 people and spent hours onboarding my colleagues one by one. I made them disable ad-blockers before clicking my referral link, made them upload a footage, edit it and then export. I was literally like a on-field support team for Veed the whole day. However, Veed returned the favour by not rewarding my well-deserved PRO plan of one year claiming that they can not track how many people registered through my referral link. I even contacted their customer service and told them I could give a list of people who registered through my referral link but they chose not to help. So Veed used people like me for free marketing. And they succeeded. Pros Video editing, live stream recording, subtitling. Cons Veed's customer service is not really helpful when you need it. Yeah no. I can't do that. Pros It was easy in the beginning, and it made my life easier. Cons Everything crashes, and it lags like crazy. I pay almost $80 per month for this to not work as it should. May 22, 2020 5.0 Can't imagine working without it anymore! <3 Also, the service is fantastic, they even got on a Skype call with me to find a solution for my oversized files. Pros It saves me SO much time and is extremely easy to use! I create loads of study material for Youtube, Instagram and TikTok to teach German as a foreign language. All my content has subtitles and it is a huge effort to enter it manually, especially because our language has capital nouns. It is the only software I found that can transcribe capitals automatically. I LOVE IT! Cons At first, I couldn't transcribe my Youtube videos of about 15-20 minutes because the file was too big. But I just render the video down to the lowest quality and Veed can transcribe it easily. It lets you download the transcript to upload it on Youtube. Review Source JA Jorge A. But I would recommend just sticking with Adobe since it is cheaper and way more accurate. Pros It did speech to text just fine. Now that Adobe has this feature in Premiere, for $10 less a month, this product is obsolete. Cons Pricing, more expensive than Adobe Premiere, which is the video editing standard. It was also a pain to cancel. Be prepared to take a screenshot of your cancelation page when the account does not get canceled. The captions were also not accurate timeline-wise. Contacted customer service and it took weeks to hear anything back and when I did it was just about their poor policies. Learn from my mistake! Far better options out there! I love how simple and easy it is to edit videos. I tested a lot of other programs but found veed was the most intuitive program to use. At times, it's completely unusable because of the delays. Editing becomes frustrating and extremely time consuming instead of seamless. If the performance issues were fixed, it could be a great tool, but as it stands, I don’t recommend it. Canva Pro is much more user friendly and now with it's AI tools you can also add the subtitles, filters, audio etc. and it works without any buffering issues! Pros Veed has some good video editing features (although you need the top level for most features) particularly their AI subtitle tool. Cons The constant buffering and lag issues. If it was more stable I honestly couldn't fault it. Pros I like that I can film, edit and subtitle all in one program instead of the multiple programs I was using previously. You have the ability to clean your audio, add transitions, additional media, stickers, etc so it has alot of options for editing purposes. When the software is working well without bugs its a great asset. Cons It feels buggy at times. I film a video and it just never uploads even if you leave it overnight and its only 60 seconds long. If it does upload sometimes when you search for it in the future it just no longer exists which results in needing to film again. Subtitles are buggy, can take hours to upload subtitles for a short video (if it actually works) but other videos of the same length is almost instant.
