My experience with AlohaABA has been nothing short of phenomenal! The customer support truly sets it apart from all other billing platforms I've used, including WebABA, CentralReach, Kareo, Medisoft, and ClinicSource. None of them come close to the level of respect, attentiveness, and dedication that the AlohaABA team provides. The value of their support alone makes a huge difference in the overall experience, elevating the software far beyond its competitors.

Pros

The outstanding customer support! The people behind the product truly make all the difference. The fact that the team who built the product is still actively involved and deeply understands customer needs is impressive. Their responsiveness is exceptional—I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours for a reply from their support team. It shows their commitment to both the product and their customers.

Cons

While there have been a few minor glitches and occasional unexplained errors, the exceptional customer support more than makes up for it. The team is incredibly responsive, quickly addressing any issues and even jumping on a call to fully understand the impact on your organization. Their dedication to resolving problems is truly unmatched.

### "Great Support for Startups"

As a startup, AlohaABA has been fantastic. They were upfront with me about the best time to start with AlohaABA and the customized onboarding experience was wonderful. As someone who was terrified of billing, the support and ease of use through the system was seamless and I now have a confidence that I did not expect to have this early on in the game. The report features are also very helpful for viewing things I didn’t even realize I would want to reference. I wished I learned about this years ago but am so glad I checked them out when starting my own company.

Pros

The billing and integration features as well as the customized support for onboarding.

Cons

It’s a small thing, but when a new tab opens up each time to look at the scheduling page.

It was fine. We had a free trial to see how it would work for us and it didn't work out. It was lacking too much for the cost at the time.

Pros

The mental health facility I had worked at, was potentially looking at adding on ABA therapy and we look into this software specifically for that purpose. It was an easy to use interface, pretty to look at, okay reporting, and had billing/payroll integrated.

Cons

No app for patients/users, some of the reporting features was lacking, and the scheduling calendar at the time needed improvement.

We could not be happier with the platform and the customer service. Love it.

Pros

Ease of use and incredible customer service.

Cons

Many bugs worked out as we go. We have not been impacted but many have. I do think that many of the reported problems are due to users misunderstanding procedures. LOVE that customer service responds quickly to facebook group.

Overall I have had a great experience and Meg was amazing!

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. Like how simple it is to add in authorizations and sessions.

Cons

Be able to make a session for a client without assigning a technician. Maybe have an area for 'open shifts' or 'floating sessions'. This way if a technician is out we can simply remove them while looking for coverage. Would love an app to get onto Aloha, like a shortcut.

Overall, it has been helpful for my organization. Speaking as a practitioner first and a business person second, it is overwhelming trying to learn about submitting claims and setting up all the things needed to get the ball rolling. However, since I have someone to whom I can ask questions, it makes the process much easier.

Pros

Cons

Some of the features of the interface are not 100% intuitive

I have nothing at all negative to say; all of our exchanges and the software itself has been nothing but stellar to this point.

Pros

We have loved all of the support we have been given throughout our implementation process (\[sensitive content hidden\] have helped us, specifically). Throughout the process, both have answered our questions and addressed our concerns very professionally, quickly, and fully. Much of our anxiety regarding transitioning from another platform to AlohaABA has been thoroughly alleviated.

Cons

Getting acclimated to some varying features has been my least favorite part of our migration process, but this is to be expected and is not a con at all; we simply need to get used to a better product--there are worse fates!

AlohaABA has much more fleshed out Billing and Payroll features, both of which are critical to our business.

Pros

The set up for Aloha was easy with the support of their team and implementing it with my team was simple. It is not difficult to train others on use of this platform. One of the biggest upsides is the link with HiRasmus, makes life so much easier!

Cons

I wish the reporting was more fleshed out and scheduling had some more user-friendliness features but overall this platform is great.

Amazing! The customer support team were so helpful. Meetings were productive and included all members needed to get the job done. Scheduled and assisted with inviting all members of team. Provided feedback notes after zoom sessions to review what was trained.

Excellent customer service and user friendly.

Pros

The software is very user friendly. Each clinical staff takes about 30-45 minute to learn the appointment and scheduling features during orientation training. Our biller took two initial training sessions with Aloha staff to run the basic billing process. Customer service has been the best in town, everyone is responsive and helpful, including those in the management positions and higher ups.

Cons

I would love to see Aloha to offer most customizable reporting features for executives to run analysis of the business.

All of the features are well thought about and very specific to the needs of my field. The customer service is top-notch and uncomparable to other similar organizations. I appreciate the very prompt and individualized support.

Cons

I really enjoy and appreciate that Aloha integrates with other data collection platforms but it would be great if they had their own and everything was just in one platform. It would be great if the system was a little faster. It can be slow to save information.

I interviewed and viewed demos with over 10 companies. Aloha was my top choice due to their comprehensive features and customer service. I also appreciate the personal attention I received and the "feel" of a small business where I know who to contact and did not have to be sent to a switchboard or call center when I need help.

Overall, we love our billing support specialist - \[sensitive content hidden\] is knowledgable, punctual and has gone above and beyond to get our questions answered.

Pros

The customer service department at Aloha is amazing. We've had issues with time zones, and suggestions for appointment features and we are always getting very speedy responses. We've had the customer support team escalate things to web developers and they usually move quickly.

Cons

We hear that we're the first ones to ask about features quite often. Which is nice to know they are listening, but I would love for these features to already be in place.

Overall, AlohaABA has been excellent to work with.

Pros

Our company, Acuity Behavior Solutions (\[sensitive content hidden\]), provides individualized ABA Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with autism, and other developmental disabilities. AlohaABA has been amazing to work with for scheduling sessions, entering authorizations, tracking appointments, payroll, and sending billing out to insurance companies electronically. The system is easy to use, looks clean and professional, has lots of great reports, billing is easy to push out, and the staff there is responsive and helpful. Their email support team responds quickly, and every staff member I have interacted with has been wonderful. The billing services are run by a very knowledgeable team who has made my life so much easier. Their implementation startup team is readily available for questions. I have personally had a great experience and this is my opinion as the owner of a growing quality focused ABA agency. Overall, a great experience!

I recommend Aloha to everyone. I can't say enough how helpful they were during our transition. They are super responsive to requests for help or errors that may occur. I can see them striving to improve the product to make it even better.

Pros

Practice management is critical in multiple ways to the success of an ABA agency. As a small business owner, we've used 2 other companies long term and trialed a few others. None compared to Aloha. The transition to a new system is a HUGE feat and Aloha walked me through it the entire way. The success of our transition would not have been possible without the support.

Cons

I'm not super techy so some things took me a bit to catch onto but with Aloha assisting me all along the way it was only a small issue.

Aloha presented a great platform and showed from day one they would provide the needed support. That is invaluable.

I absolutely love the platform. It is super user-friendly. The customer service is exceptional. We have not had one negative experience since switching over to Aloha. We were previously using a platform that constantly had glitches. We have not had this problem with Aloha. I highly recommend this platform to anyone who is looking for a practice management system.
