Easy to use and very well organized. Great for keep track of all your pay periods, all your tax information and easy to use for uploading expenses to your company.

Cons

Pros

It is simple enough to navigate TriNets time off request system for all approvals and tracking data.

Cons

The insurance portion of Trinet could be easier to navigate. It is tough to find doctors in network and saving searches is a timely process.

With Tri-Net Expense out Consultants on the road can easily track their expenses on the go using the mobile app, keep receipts electronically and sync expenses from their credit cards. They submit their expenses online for review and approval removing the reliance on the postal system and shorting the turnaround time for reimbursing the employee.

We went through every possible worst case scenario with this product. First of all, its not intuitive or easy to use. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is customizable in the tool. We had so many complaints from our employees about not being to understand how to fill out their reviews that we had to go through the extra labor of creating a user manual for them. Second, we were on the phone with customer support every other day while setting up the review. We were given false information various times and had to check in with multiple sources before someone could confirm. The product also malfunctioned a few times; sending out random review reminders to the whole company during a period where we were not doing reviews at all. For your own sanity, please go with another tool. Do not use TriNet Perform. You will regret it.

Overall, this is a fantastic application. I set it up completely for my small business in about 30 minutes and the integration with Quickbooks is fantastic. Incredibly easy to manage and maintain. Integration with my credit card account is a snap and the ability to move that right into a report is amazing. I really love the mobile application as well. Taking a picture of a receipt and loading it directly to my account is pure genius. This saves me about 1 hour per expense report easily.

Pros of using Trinet: They have all of your HR, Payroll, and 401K integration all in one place! They save your team a lot of time. That's nice. Cons: It's kind of has corporate vibes for on boarding employees/it makes the process feel very robotic, and less human especially when you need to understand your health, etc. benefits. It's also about $900 a month for our team, which is on the high side for us.

Currently Trinet does not allow you to upload supporting documents onto a feedback/review. Also formatting the review is horrible. No matter how you space out sections everything ends up crammed together. Example if I copy and paste data from excel into a review, no matter how nice it looks, when I hit complete it just becomes one giant paragraph that is unreadable.

Overall, my experience with Trinet so far has been great!

Pros

I just recently started using Trinet for our benefits and payroll provider. As an employee, it's a very easy process to get started adding direct deposit, declaring benefits, documents, etc. It made for an easy transition from our old software!

Cons

What I like least about Trinet so far...Probably the popup notifications upon login. Even after I declared my benefits every time I logged in, without fail, the popup to declare benefits still always came up..

Kathleen, We're sorry to hear that message is bothering you! Our customer companies setup the expense policies for their company. An example of an expense policy would be, if an expense exceeds the amount $75 a receipt must be attached. Once an expense policy has been violated within a report, a violation message shows asking the user to fix their report before submitting it. Overall the system is great. What I would like to see is the ability to add Jpeg or PDF's to reviews. Also the formatting for the reviews tends to squish all of the information together into one paragraph. For example my original review would be spaced out into different lines and bullet points but when it is loaded it all runs together.

### "Service misses the mark"

Overall, not great. I didn't like the platform that much. While customer service was responsive, I often didn't feel heard. I was given stock responses rather than a thought partner. They failed to deliver on specific requests multiple times. I had to ask to change my payroll service agent because he did not know the law or the platform well

Pros

There wasn't anything I particularly liked about the product.

Cons

It was clunky. Not easy to navigate. Not very intuitive. Reporting left a lot to be desired.

I've only used TriNet Expense twice so far, but haven't had any real issues with using it (aside from forgetting my password). It's been pretty intuitive for me to use but I've only submitted expenses through it and am not really sure what else it's used for. Incidentally, while I understand locking people out after multiple failed login attempts, I think that the lockout should reset after a certain period of time (maybe an hour or a day?). Just my two cents.

I love that I can personalize job ads on Trinet hire to each job. This software is super organized and allows you to save emails, steps and file submissions.

Cons

I wish trinet hire had an mobile application to use. I cannot think of any other cons, I like this software.

Its been a while since we used a decent software to track our expenses. We gave TriNet expense a go and we are truly impressed with how user friendly and the simplicity of the platform. We were able to use it on our iOS and Android devices which is a plus and saved us big money as we didn't nee to upgrade any hardware. We were also able to import the expense reports to quickbooks with no hassle. If you haven't tried it, give it a go and you wont regret it

### "Terrible - Don't Bother"

I have now used this product to roll out two semi-annual Performance Reviews and can honestly say that I would rather use paper and pencil than this product. It is not intuitive at all. Formatting feedback is terrible, functionality poor, and customer service is the worst. Our employees and managers found it very difficult to find their own reviews, to find 360 reviews and team reviews. Don't waste your time.

I really like how quick it is to take a picture of a receipt and upload it into a expense report. You can also take pictures of multiple receipts and then finish the rest of your expense report at a later date.
