Administration Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent Software, Hard Recommend" January 3, 2025 5.0 Overall, the experience has been excellent. The software is easy to learn and easy for both employees and customers to read and understand the invoices. Customer service has likewise always been quick and responsive to questions and needs. Pros I like that it is easy to identify artwork needed for a given order, as well as easy to email the invoice for approval and payment. I also like that multiple sizes can be on a single line entry (our previous software did not do that) and that the majority of invoices can be printed on a single page. Cons I wish there was a little more functionality in the area of accounting and payments. I understand this is not the point of the software, but it seems like a good area for future expansion. I would also make some changes to the way customer entries are structured -- nothing big, but the way contacts and the primary entry are set up don't align with the way a large number of our customers work (businesses, school and student organizations, etc.). It would also be useful to have some kind of tracking of credits; for example, if $100 was issued as a credit, it would be useful to be able to track where and when that credit is assigned. It would also be useful to be able to assign credits from one account to another (for example, School Team A coach has $50 credit but School Team B manager is placing an order and the credit is to be assigned to that order -- it would be nice to easily attach from the coach account to the manager account in-system and have tracking of that credit for accountability). October 14, 2020 5.0 They are the best. How many places can you call and talk to the developers, and not have to go through gatekeepers to even try and get an answer. We use other systems and software within this business and none of them have the availability and level of support as we get from Price It Software. I think many people in our industry think they have to pay mega bucks or the software isn't any good. We've looked at many, and I can tell you, this is worth every penny. It has streamlined our business and helped us to be consistent in our pricing, ordering, and all of our processes. Yes, we are very pleased! Pros We love that everything we need to know about processing an order is all in one place. Reorders are simple. Having the history of our customers in one spot, is a click away. (We got rid of 4 big file cabinets since we started using Price It.) Saves on paper and printing. We do a lot of contract work and the portal has saved us hours upon hours of inputing data, plus saves on order entry errors. They guys at Price It are ALWAYS available, and they listen to our ideas, and if it will benefit those in our industry, they go to work to make it happen. I truly could not be more pleased with our decision to use Price It Software. We continue to learn more little nuggets all the time that are in this software! Cons That's there not an "undo" button! With the artwork in the program, one can easily look up how many colors or stitches is in a design making training new employees to work the front much easier. Cons While nothing is ever perfect, the PriceIt team is constantly striving to improve the software. I especially like how it is integrated with Quickbooks. Cons There really isn't anything I don't like about this program. If I had to say something it would be the lack of written instruction to use the program effectively. It would be good to have videos available for training employees in its use. Pros Switching to PriceIt after decades of hand writing orders and using Quickbooks was a massive game changer in my business. First it was very easy to learn and the set up was mostly all done remotely by the great people at PriceIt. The next thing I noticed was how much time I saved in creating professional estimates that could easily be changed multiple times for fussy customers. We also saved a lot of money and time using the work order which very clearly spells everything out including artwork images and critical info. Mistakes in ordering and printing went way down!!! Re-0rders are very easy and a huge time saver compared to shuffling through old manila files and folders. Last thing and one of the most important as a business owner is we got a long overdue raise! By using their pricing system I was making money finally on all those short run orders I was losing money one. And the prices are just right to still give a discount to make non-profits and school groups happy and still make money on the job! Oh and the last last thing is I love working with the folks behind the scenes. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team do a fantastic job with customer service, no headaches or long wait times when you call. They answer the phone and go the extra mile to help. I have been using this program for about 10 years now and couldn't do business without it. Working on a desktop client makes it fast and responsive so you can work through tasks very quickly. Cloud storage means your data file is always backed up. The wholesaler data feeds are updated so you are always working with real time pricing. Customers have the option to pay, view invoices and art approvals online. Pros Price-it makes it easy to create quotes for multiple decoration methods and keep track of what's going on in the shop at a very high level as well as for each stage in a job's life cycle. Customer service is outstanding and the product is constantly updated and upgraded. The scheduling module contains production data which is something no other product had when we were shopping around. Cons There isnt much bad to say. Any issues or bugs are typically taken care of within minutes of reporting them.
