it's the best choice for home offce and works great with large teams

Pros

this software is very easy to use and also allows the user to have access everywhere they are with their laptop or PC unlike other apps that can only be used in the office, so it was a great prek during the pandemic time with home office

Cons

download and the process to run the software was very slow, but the contcat ceter replied very fast and helped us make the transition easy

I need a phone that allows me to not only make calls for free in Canada/ US, but I prefer a phone that allows me to call from my laptop, so I don't have to hold a handheld device. I also use the Texting feature quite a bit.

Easy Calling, texting and AI functionality

Cons

I wish they had an Integration to Greenhouse (recruiting software/ATS), so I could make calls directly from Greenhouse to candidates that I am interviewing.

It just works. I have been using dialpad for over a year and have nod had any issues at all with them. The service woorks well and calls are clear. We are in a dead spot for coverage on cell phones So a landline from dialpad has been a life saver

I wasn't part of the process to launch DialPad but from Day 1 it seemed a little too disjointed for our mid-size business (50). I never found benefit in the need for it and thought it was a wasted expense.

Pros

Gave us a record of calls across the business to see all information to act on if needed and what activity was going on for individuals. A lot of integrations available - GSuite, Salesforce, etc

Cons

The set-up and configuration of the team accounts, plus the interface is pretty confusing. It got to the point where I was looking to simply use my regular process to field calls. Calls coming in were delayed quite often (no rings - straight to voicemail) so I'd miss a lot of calls.

It allows the forwarding of all information necessary to solve a customer's dire situation in a most expeditious manner.

Pros

We use this tool primarily for in office communication although our customers are encouraged to use it as well. It is quickest way to get the info needed to support a customer in an emergency.

Cons

We really do not have any negative feelings about this product. It has replaced one of our other tools and is the primary means of communicating with each other.

Overall, we are happy with using Dialpad. We used to be Talkdesk customers and switched due to Dialpad's greating pricing, and so far, we're getting most of the same features at more than half the cost. If they can add some more dynamic IVR features like I mentioned above, this will easily be one of the best VOIP business solutions.

Pros

The Dialpad desktop app is easy to use, and the overall infrastructure is easy to setup. The analytics are pretty good considering the price as well.

Cons

\- Sometimes call quality can be a bit dicey, even though we have excellent internet in our office. - The mobile app can be a bit laggy, even with full LTE/wifi service. - We would love to see more dynamic IVR options such as the ability to go back to previous menu options and having the recording repeat itself in a loop when it ends. - We're having a particular issue where we have main department line setup with an IVR, and one of the options is supposed to transfer to another department. We want it to simultaneously ring to everyone in that group, but it is going straight to voicemail instead. It may be setup incorrectly on our end, but remedying this hasn't been that intuitive. I've reached out to support, so I'm hoping to get a solution from them.

### "Onboarding/Migrating"

Onboarding was smooth. We transitioned from Mitel with 60 lines. Because the porting was so smooth, I was thanked for how well it went. We are so thankful to be out of Mitel services and into one system.

Pros

Mobile/Desk/Web-app allows me to switch between device seamlessly without the caller knowing. The call transcriptions and recording is great to review calls. I really like the Google integration as well.

Cons

I would like the API to provide call transcripts with Zapier. This will allow me to create a webhook I can then pass to my CRM to create a case if needed. Sometimes my mobile app on Android when my screen is locked and the device rings through Dialpad the app hides. I have to unlock the phone and by then the caller hangs up.

Overall, there are some quirks that you need to get used to or have a bit of a workaround for. Overall, it has been a good experience and call quality has been good. There was an initial lag when I first started using the system, but it has gotten much better.

Pros

It is easy to operate across multiple devices. With texting now being so prominent, it is great to be able to use it on the computer like instant messenger and also have those messages available on your phone as well.

Cons

Some issues in coordination between apps on the phone such as dialing into conference calls from calendar invites. Sometimes it won't accept the calls through dialpad, or it won't transfer the dial-in code to be used in dialpad. The other issue is with the main line that gets forwarded to operators. It does not show the caller id for the caller, just the number for the main line. Finally, it can be a little confusing on the phone because it connects through the carrier and shows a completely different outgoing number on the screen for New York of Florida most of the the time.

Very happy and impressed with my Dialpad number as a front-line, first-contact experience of my company. I trust the flow of inquiries, business opportunities, and overall impression to Dialpad.

Pros

The virtual phone number allows me to move the flow of phone calls away from my cell phone and exclusively through the business number. The recordings, transcripts, and routing features are top notch. Love making and receiving phone calls right from my computer since I am there most work days, or from my phone app when I am on the road.

Cons

There are more features than I can or will use, but I do see them valuable as my staff grows. It took me a while to figure out why I have two phone numbers, but I've found ways to make them both work for me until the organization grows.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

We are a new business and I made the decision to invest in a long-term, professional solution to handle voice calls and texts. There are definitely cheaper solutions out there - and more expensive ones - but Dialpad hits the sweet spot of feature rich, trustworthy service priced at a good value. The cheaper solutions would have put me in an awkward spot sooner or later.

Pros

Dialpad has been a great fit for our company. Although the bulk of our employees are in our corporate office, we have several out in the field all across Texas. Dialpad helps us connect customer calls to our marketing team and other Admin when out of the office, as well as communicate quickly with our technologists. You can also download the app and have all calls connect to your cellphone.

Cons

My cellphone app often doesn't work properly. Possibly a user-error but I have worked on it several times and still can't seem to get it right.

Overall, its exactly NOT recommended by me after many issue i had encountered with it.

Pros

Dialpad offers advanced features such as call transcription and analytics. It has an user friendly interface. Mobile app is also great to make it work remotely tho.

Cons

One of the most significant drawbacks is its pricing structure. Its hard to understand the final price until made pay. Should have better reporting features. Also connectivity issues is so annoying. Customer service is absoluetly need improvement.

### "A great app for remote workers"

Pros

It has a very great and simple integration with gsuite making logging in a breeze. It is completely cloud managed so there is no need for extra hardware or server space allowing employees to use the app no matter where they are in the world. As long as you have an internet connection you can use dialpad. They also have very nice apps for both android and iOS. So you can pass a call from your pc to your phone with a simple click.

Cons

It is a bit pricey when you start adding on all the features and extensions the price can go up pretty quickly. Other than that I've had great luck with this software so far.

Great experience. We've never had any down time or major glitches. The value is great for what you pay. We appreciate the pricing as we are a smaller company.

Pros

Easy to set up. Established a business phone #, a conference call # and voicemail in a matter of minutes. I love that you can text from the web app. Dialpad has changed the way we communicate with customers.

Cons

We had a slight glitch when we set up the 2nd department's voicemail. We didn't even know that dept could have it's own voicemail so we are grateful for the feature.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

Ring Central seems so complex, they wanted to up sell us on everything and mentioned "hardware" why would I use hardware in 2020, ha!

The main advantage is that it doesn't need an actual phone, we can call to our team located on different parts of the world via our laptops itself. The main reason we love Dialpad is that it is simple and the call quality is way better compared to their competitors. Great job team

Pros

Lots of features, lots of updates, easily integrates into Windows, good user interface

Cons

The auto assist insist you spell out the first three letters of the person's name, an extension number would be easier. Also the ability to have people type a number for the fax number, or website or mailing address would be helpful and easily deployed. Also the UberConference feature is great to have but I am unsure whether it incorporates videoconferencing.

Pros

I use dialpad as a separate business number on my cell phone. It's awesome to have an app that lets me use just one phone for two numbers. The feature to use on my computer is super helpful as well, and I've been impressed that it does exactly what I need it to. Call quality is good.

Cons

It is utilitarian, and the interface is very basic. It's not the most pleasant user experience, but again, it gets the job done.

Dialpad has helped our office to minimize desk clutter once all those phones and lines were gone, plus it's helped us to broaden our communication methods through the desktop/app texting. It's saving us time and mental margin to keep all of our calls where we spend our time anyway - on computers or mobile devices. We're able to answer the phone and take care of guests sooner.

Pros

When our team migrated to Dialpad, it was so easy to retain our original direct phone numbers and we love the ability to make calls, take messages and text through the desktop and mobile applications. I also love how easy it is to transfer calls, set out-of-offices, and search through older conversations.

Cons

Initially, the call quality was not as good as it is now and it is still improving. But I am impressed with the quick feedback tool to "rate the quality of this call" after most conversations.
