### "Dialpad: Extra Effort Required"

My company is using Dialpad to save on costs.

Pros

It does work; I can make and receive phone calls.

Cons

I found the desktop computer interface difficult to use. I just couldn't get used to all the steps involved with answering the phone in the time before it went to voicemail. My co-worker has the optional desk phone, which I think would be a better solution for me. I don't use the phone often in my work (3-4 calls per week), so it's not necessary for me to have the earpiece on all day. This means that when the phone starts to ring, I have to find the earpiece, turn it on, put it in my ear, then take the cursor off whatever I'm currently doing on the computer, find the icon on the computer screen and click on it to answer the call. If I happen to be in the middle of editing a cell in an Excel spreadsheet, this clicking away leads to making errors or not being able to figure out where I was or what I was doing. I'm sure younger folks are used to such interruptions, but I find it annoying to not be able to just pick up the phone and talk. Similarly, it takes two buttons pressed to make a call, and I can't be sure that the phone number I'm calling is correct, since the number on the Dialpad display is some random number that has nothing to do with the call I am trying to make. It also incurs a bit of delay when connecting which is just long enough to be annoying. Another thing is that the person I'm calling doesn't know it's me, since the phone number that they see is not even from the same island I am on. Calls to Guam do not go through on Dialpad.

### "Dialpad is a great office assistant"

Being able to answer each call live has helped serve our customers better. Many of our customers appreciate being able to reach someone each time they call. Overall, Dialpad has helped us with our professional image and given us peace of mind that we do not have to worry about the app not working.

Pros

Dialpad helps us to always be in a position to live answer every call. The way we can have calls be routed to multiple people is a huge asset. If one of us is busy someone else in the office can answer the call. Another item we enjoy about the app is there are multiple features that will allow you to customize the app to your needs.

Cons

The main downside for us is occasionally our internet will be spotty and render the application unusable. That being said the "Failover" feature will route calls to my cell phone in that kind of event.

### "Great software but not the best CS"

The overall experience is not that good, but not because of the software but because of the CS and Accounts Receivable team. We have reduced our sales team and they have been completely inflexible with the terms of the contract, even if we suggested exchanging the call center licenses for the local presence feature which would cost even more, but they didn't allow us to make the change. Not a very good way to treat the clients, we will not renew the contract.

Pros

It is very easy to use and if you have good internet connection you can hear clearly and there is no delay. You can export all the data you need, but you have to treat it in Excel.

Cons

Would be nice to have better reporting features.

Overall, I love the product. The ability to create dept's to assist in monitoring other employees has been exceptionally useful. Whether during vacation times or transitioning of new employees, being able to see, field and maintain calls that may have otherwise sat in voicemail helps to keep us up to date with all of our clients.

Pros

While our needs our basically simple, reliable phone service, the ability to text, the ability to review and save phone transcripts, uberconference have all proven to be very useful to us. Dialpad everywhere is excellent. It is great to have access across all my devices.

Cons

Hard to say least about any of it. Adaptability with Amazon Alexa has proven difficult, but not overly important to us at this time. I still am not certain of the benefit of integrating MS Teams as opposed to running it separate and independent.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

Cost had a big impact as we were starting something new. The available features also helped in the decision. We have stayed because of overall reliability, excellent customer service and continuous updates and expansion of features

Overall, I'm highly satisfied that even if I am not in the country, I can receive and make calls using a reliable phone number created by dialpad for my clients.

Pros

I love that they have a web app too. I can use it with my other tasks instead of being on separate devices to use dialpad for calling

Cons

Nothing in particular! The web app has a weird UX where I find it hard to locate the calling button. Else, everything is great

### "My favorite choice for office telephones"

Needed a phone system that easily worked well remotely without any phone system in the office - needed it to be entirely cloud based. This fit the bill. I have followed the team at Dialpad since they were at Grand Central and have been very impressed with the way the think about telephony.

Pros

\- Very good pricing - All the features one can reasonably look for - Great ability to work from anywhere - Interesting set of new features being added - Nice ability to also use a real deskphone (Obihai) if a user cares about that - Very responsive to feedback (they added a button on the main phone screen based on my recommendation)

Cons

\- Still confusing for non-technical people to swap between headsets, mics, etc.

Fantastic. We've tested countless other phone systems and this one is so easy to use and manage, and it's reliable.

Pros

It's easy to use, sounds GREAT, easy to admin, great product for the money, until you start adding additional features. Most businesses can use the standard version and be perfectly happy.

Cons

We run a call center, that package starts getting pricey. There are a few features that I wish were included in the base package, but the standard package should work fine for most small businesses.

Overall good experience. Sometimes unreliable. Ended up switching to google voice due to the cheaper price and the reliability issues we had.

Pros

Easy to use with a desk phone and cellphone. Call routing easy to change and update. Many features for call routing during business hours and non business hours. Liked that I could set a different voicemail for different times of the day and for vacation or out of office time.

Cons

Sometimes unreliable where it would ring on the desktop only and not the desk phone, and vice versa. Sometimes calls did not go to my cellphone and it would come in as a voicemail. Happened about 10% of the time so it was often enough to be an issue.

Pros

The cross-platform compatibility and ease of use. If I've missed a call and/or have a voice mail from my wired connection I can review and listen from any mobile device using the Dialpad app. Also the voice-to-text feature is convenient for those times that you don't have the option to listen to a voice mail.

Cons

I am happy with this product. If I could change only one thing it would be the voice-to-text feature regarding voice mail messages. The accuracy could be improved some, but this feature on most voice-to-text services are about the same for accuracy.

### "High Quality and Feature Rich VOIP Phone System"

A complete, enterprise featured phone system at an affordable price for small business.

Pros

The most important thing is the quality of the calls. I rarely have any choppiness or dropped calls. The desktop app is great with the ability to turn on do not disturb and the ability to switch seamlessly from a desktop call to a mobile call is great.

Cons

I wish it was possible to create voicemail only users either for free or at a lower cost without having to purchase all users a full seat.

Pros

I like the voice recording which is super clear, the conference option is seamless, integrations with emails and drive is a plus, sharing screen without being in a conference is super useful!

Cons

Navigating between phone numbers is sometimes confusing on phone.

It is nice to be able to provide a dedicated number to clients without having to use your personal cell phone number.

Pros

Easy to use anywhere you are in the world and on the go, whether in your office or on the road. It is great to have one central number for business that is totally mobile.

Cons

I have two numbers and sometimes find the call logs confusing. Also, when an incoming call is received you are not made aware which number the person has called.

It was a huge upgrade from Google Voice and I've been happy overall.

Pros

I really like the sound quality of the phone call. The department and contacts are easy to access too. I really like that a text can be marked unread, and that calls and voicemails are transcribed as well as recorded. Images are easy to send as well. The round robin call rotation is great.

Cons

It's difficult to mark a voicemail unread. Often there is a delay when a call begins. I can't drag text into the message to copy, or highlight and drag phone numbers and text out of Dialpad to copy to accounts. Video is very small when sent through Dialpad.

too many complications with how to answer, phone would ring in your ear while speaking to a customer, line wouldn't ring for everyone, no uniformity in communication either. The SMS, voicemail, and call history were all separate when you tried to search for one contact.

I already have recommended it to others because it's really convenient and helps me keep all work related texts in one place.

Pros

I really like that there is an app for my iPhone so I can make calls from it and text clients when I'm on the go. I also like that I can be at my computer and text people.

Cons

The text on the app is really small so it's a bit hard to read. I haven't figured out if that is an iPhone setting or Dialpad setting.

Relatively easy to set up and manage. Call quality seems to be good for the most part.

Cons

Customer support is not responsive and our Account Manager and the \[sensitive content hidden\] , have been less than helpful. Call center functionality is not good. Texting back and forth to customers from shared lines is very difficult.

We are a forestry company, and most of our workforce is mobile, out in the woods caring for the trees. That we can have one number that will reach them no matter where they are is HUGE for us. The fact that their techs can troubleshoot call issues and fix them (or tell us what we need to do) is also great. Dialpad also can be administered by anyone with a half hour of training or less, so we don't need a dedicated phone tech anymore.

Pros

The flexibility and features are night-and-day better than the phone system we replaced. Ability to have phone calls to the office phone ring on our mobiles when not in the office is a favorite, as is ability to block calls from unwanted numbers. We love being able to start a call on one device and in one click move it to another -- like taking a conference call on the desk phone, and when it runs over schedule, move it to my cell phone so I can walk away but stay on the call.

Cons

Porting numbers from out old phone system was the only trouble we had, and that's not really Dialpad's issue.

Pros

Everything from the desktop software, the mobile app and the integration with a desk phone works absolutely seamlessly. The ability to quickly create contacts prior to calling makes it easy to see who's calling you back at any time. I used texting on a daily basis as a way of reaching prospects as well. FANTASTIC!

Cons

None come to mind - fair pricing and did everything I needed it to and more.

Dialpad talk gives us calls and texting in one platform. Before we would have to use two different solutions and now we can do it all in the same place.

Pros

I like how easy it is to set up a call center, make edits, and create agents. Teams can manage their own call centers etc without the need to wait for someone else's help. Coaching Center is also a great tool for the sales training teams to use to help the sales agents

Cons

I wish there was a little more indepth integration with CRM's (salesforce for example) to do data dips into the database and route calls based on how that information is found. It would also be helpful if their voice intelligence solution had a way to block out sensitive information in calls (credit card numbers for example).

Awesome! Tried to switch and the other provider has been around much longer but doesn't have near the technology and capabilities and reporting of Dialpad. If you want the most advanced phone service from a tech and artificial intelligence standpoint there is nothing I've found that rivals Dialpad.

Pros

Ease of use and the integrated functions or text and picture messaging.

Cons

Sometimes the call quality isnt great but a quick reset or update generally fixes it and Dialpad is always improving!

It could be ideal for certain businesses or teams with all iPhone users, but for our small team it was not ideal.

Pros

Dialpad's web application made it fairly easy to set up the account, customize ringback tones, and view settings.

Cons

I was constantly having issues on my Android and there was no way to "ask first" or transfer a call back to myself if my team member couldn't answer.
