I do not feel that I need to hire someone to do this for me, whereas before using this product, I felt that my creations just weren't at the level I wanted them to be at. It has definitely raised the quality of our posting, and therefore raised the perception of our business to match what the quality of our business product is. Pros The ease with which I can create anything - in a variety of sizes - is incredible. It no longer needs to be a 'forever project'. It's quick and with the templates provided, there are always ideas there to spur on the imagination. Cons I would love to be able to change the size of a creation and have all the pieces of it be proportional. I often need to do a social media post, a website page, a poster and a flyer that I would like to be nearly the same. But, when it's resized, not all the parts resize, and so everything has to be manually moved around and resized. However, the recent update has significantly altered the user experience, leaving me both frustrated and disappointed. The new layout, while presumably aimed at improving the platform, has made navigation and usability considerably more difficult for me. The changes have not only impacted my efficiency but have also detracted from the seamless experience I had come to associate with Poster My Wall. As someone who relies on the platform for its ease of use, this shift has been disheartening. While I understand the need for progress and innovation, the transition has been challenging without adequate resources or guidance to adapt to the new interface. My attempt to embrace the update has been met with confusion, significantly affecting my productivity and overall satisfaction. In this light, I find myself in a predicament. I am left longing for the old version of the site or, at the very least, some form of user support to help navigate the updated platform. Tutorials, guides, or the option to revert to the previous interface would be invaluable aids in this transition period. I hope my feedback can be a constructive part of Poster My Wall’s ongoing development, ensuring that future updates enhance user experience without compromising on usability. For potential users, while Poster My Wall remains a platform with much to offer, it’s important to be mindful of the learning curve introduced by the latest update. Pros It used to be easy to use until they did an update jan/feb 2024. I did my last complete and downloaded design on jan 31 with the old site which is easy to use with no learning curve. The customer service is awesome. They responded quickly which is wonderful but i need the old site back. Cons The new update done feb 2024. Its horrible and difficult to navigate and it has no center points horizontally nor vertically and a lot of other downfalls in the upgrade. It was fine how it was. Im not happy. October 26, 2023 5.0 I work on a church staff, and have created everything from conference and memorial service brochures, to event flyers, announcement slides, Facebook ad images, social media banners and images, business card designs, and images for large 3'x8' banners! PosterMyWall is AMAZING, I recommend it to all of my friends in the "church world", and cannot recommend it enough as a quality, inexpensive option! Pros Besides the fact it's only $10 a month, whenever I search for a template to use for something specific, a ton of options and designs pop up! As a I choose a template, I look beyond what I'm staring at on screen to see how I can make it my own -- which is SO EASY to do! You can change project size, colors, fonts, pull in your own images, and completely manipulate each template until it is a design you are happy with. Cons There is nothing I do not like about PosterMyWall... I did have some issues months ago with not being able to click on things to manipulate them (had to keep re-loading the site), but that got fixed, so I've had no issues since. Which helped our business to get a better revenue than it ever had. Pros The best thing about the postermywall is that it provides real-time editing which helps the users to drag and drop different types of content or elements and put them on the posters as per their needs. The platform has a huge amount of free templates which will help the user to design any kind of poster and animation work. Cons The software is great and gives good results but I will say that the Mobile version of the postermywall is not user-friendly at all. It is full of bugs and needs lots of optimization. It is very difficult to work on the app version of the platform. I have also felt that it lacks a few premium elements which can be introduced by the developers for better results. It keeps it simple, so if I want to create something simple and quick, I don't get held up by complicated programs. I like being able to quickly plug images in and out. Once you make something, it's easy to re-use it quickly. The price is also good-- probably the cheapest service we use among all of those we use in the real estate sphere. Pros As someone who also uses free image editing software, I prefer to use PosterMyWall to get things done quickly and simply, without the clutter of a million features I don't use. Being able to see all my drafts in one place without digging through a company shared file is useful in churning out brochures and flyers for listings. It's also very helpful to avoid the cost of type-setting/artwork for sign-printing, as I can quickly do the typesetting myself in PosterMyWall and save a high resolution draft to send to printers. Cons I dislike the inability to edit text in different ways in the same text box. For example, if I want to have half the text bold, you can only bold the entire text box. I can professional looking pieces in minutes and then publish in an email campaign that I can measure results. The templates offered by PosterMyWall have made this very easy. Using this software has made the process much less tedious. Pros PosterMyWall is very simple and easy to use. There are many templates to choose from and they cover a very wide number of themes and events. The labels are accurate and the fonts are quite lovely. I especially love the features that allow users to search for and insert any clip art desired. It has been very useful and really adds to the functionality of the application. It was also very thoughtful of the developers to allow users to change the size of the canvas based on what the graphic will be used for (eg. flyer, poster, business cards etc). PosterMyWall really makes graphic designing much easier. Cons When searching for templates under a specific theme, it is sometimes difficult to find a suitable one. This is because many other templates pop up that aren't related to what you initially searched for. In the event that one wishes to create their own poster, flyer etc using a blank template, this would be much easier if photoshop was a feature of PosterMyWall. This way, it would be much easier to create that flyer, poster etc because all the editing would be done in one software. However, this isn't too much of an issue. It has been 4 months since I'm using this app for online editing and poster creation and I make around 20 to 30k(inr) per month with the creatives I made through PMW. Major pros. \* They have several layouts and posters, which will accommodate almost all businesses, when compared to Canva this tool provide perfection close to adobe tools( Canva is bit linear ) \*Minimal system requirements when compared to others, economical and easy to implement. Adobe tools has an array of features, some of which can be overwhelming to beginners. So if you are a fresher in Graphics designing I suggest PMW. \*You can work from anywhere from any system since no software installation is needed. \*Multiple image resizing options( masking), Background removal with in seconds and output quality also awe-inspiring Cons \* Many functionalities are limiting if you are on a small device.It is easier on more significant devices. \* They don't have a proper text editing integrated, no spell check, no cap to small letter change etc. \* Manual masking is lil tricky. Pros The templates and user interface make it easy to create great designs quickly. Cons The product does not allow Copy & Paste between multiple designs when in edit mode. Copy & Paste is the most basic functionality of an authoring & publishing tool. I understand that this is difficult given browser functionality when moving things between browser tabs. But, there is a very simple solution that could be implemented with about 10 days (80 hours) of development time. Contact me if you are interested in the requirements for a Copy & Paste feature. Working for a religious non-profit organization limits a lot of commercial options, but PMW has a TON of templates that have been uploaded to the site!!! Pros The ability to use templates, customize designs, and add premium graphics all from one site. The ease of use makes even the most BASIC user look like a PRO!!! Cons Would like more options to customize photos and graphics (re-color, customize sizing, etc). These are very minor compared to the great benefits and value of the software. I always have a really nice looking flyer for every season or event. Pros It is user friendly, I am always able to go back in & edit when I need to. It is easy to find or create your own template. Cons Being able to download our own pictures, sometimes it gives me trouble. I will have to adjust the picture to fit what I am doing in a different screen then upload.
