I ended up deciding not to use the software at all and the company would not offer any level of refund even though I paid for a full year.

Pros

The onboard team was nice and easy to work with. In theory if it worked as it was supposed to it would have made communication with guest easier.

Cons

It didn't really function with my software in the way it was supposed to. It was to hard to make changes myself, I had to rely on support to make any changes.

Overall pretty good. It's offered our customers an alternative way to keep in touch.

Pros

The interface is relatively straight forward and easy to use.

Cons

The automated batch communications are pretty flawless but the automated responses often have errors so you need to watch them.

We had originally used Breezeway messaging but we found the feature to be very limited. With AKIA we are able to keep records of all chats, send broadcast messages, send photos and videos to guests, and send waivers automatically to guests.

Pros

The UI of AKIA is incredibly easy and visually pleasant to use. I can train my staff to use this regardless of level of experience with apps and software. I appreciate that it's extremely mobile friendly as sometimes the team is on the go. We also have the ability to forward guest conversations to various team members based on the issue or content that needs to be addressed. I also love that you can disable AKIA from automation for certain guests.

Cons

I currently have no cons with this software!

Reasons for choosing Akia

We met AKIA team members at a conference in San Antonio, had 1 meeting with them, and we hadn't seen a messaging product with as much customization as AKIA.

We are happy with the system - it gives us the ability to communicate with guests while they are on premise and for emergency broadcasts such as weather - etc.

Pros

We use Akia for remote check in and communicating with guests when they are on site.

Cons

A little cumbersome when using from smart phone

Pros

Fexibility, conditions and customisation options for the user. It’s amazing.
