My experience has been exceptional. is extremely beginner friendly and once again the customer services really attests to how your experience is and how well you are with NOVI AMS.

Pros

I truly love the ease of this software and also, the customer service.

Cons

I think an app would be great and helpful for on the go. Especially during high travel season.

Pros

We make great used of the group and reports features within the system. The ability to customize in each category is awesome, as our association's needs are every evolving, as is the NOVI team's continual updates to the system.

Cons

Though my team as a whole has many uses for the reports and groups functions, I am grateful for my members who has grasp the concepts and use them often. I am not quite there yet, LOL!

### "My New Employee"

Accounting is much easier and we are getting payments faster and BEFORE events not after the event. Love that you can print up a sign-in sheet and name tags through the online registration.

Pros

is like hiring another employee! We actually talk about Novi as if "she" is a member of the team. The ease of the program, two-way sync with QuickBooks and Mail Chimp has eliminated multiple steps and entries to complete a task.

Cons

The back feature does not take you to the screen you were just on...

I use Novi all day every day for multiple functions including note-taking for members' needs and preferences.

Pros

I inherited Novi when I started with the association and had limited experience with association software. I have found it to be easy to learn and instinctive. Novi's support is stellar, always replying promptly, patiently and efficiently.

Cons

I have no background in accounting and have found the integration with QuickBooks online to be my biggest challenge.

Ever person at NOVI has been a real joy to work with. It is obvious that they care deeply about the software, my association, and me and my team as people too.

Pros

NOVI is very obviously a customer focused and forward looking company. The base functionality is very intuitive and should meet the needs of any small to medium sized association. I've been impressed by the continual rolling updates that add more tools and features on at least a monthly basis

Cons

The one way API seems necessary due to the tight integration with Quickbooks but it does limit the types of integrations that you can utilize and may require some parallel data systems for certain association practices.

Overall, I love and would recommend every association invest in it to manage the finances, events, members and more.

Pros

What I like most about this software is it is easy to use and navigate. Learning to use this platform has been very clear and understandable. I love the project management aspect of it and how organized the member information and events are. It's wonderful!

Cons

I personally haven't found any cons yet. I am still learning more each day and the notes that Novi offers really helps with anything I may not understand. No complaints thus far.

Reason for choosing Novi AMS

Novi just stood out and offered more than other competitors. In the long run, it was a better investment that will and has set our association up for success.

Novi is user-friendly and clean. We don't have to come up with tricks and workarounds for problems - they solve it for us.

Pros

Novi is the most intuitive AMS we've used. It is so easy to onboard new employees with the system.

Cons

The eCommerce has been difficult for us to work with, but our needs are out of the norm. However, Novi has been working with us to increase functionality and be able to launch our eCommerce this year.

The responsiveness of the tech team is amazing, when something doesn't function as you think it should they help to get you on the right page, explain how you can get where you want to go, and are willing to accumulate functionality items for future upgrades / updates.

Pros

The ease of use - my second software for membership - Novi is way easier to use!

Cons

I get excited for new functionality, that sometimes is further out than I like

### "Excellent Customer Service "

Pros

The customer service is amazing! Whenever I have a question they're great at getting back to me and helping me through it. Also, the product is very easy to navigate. When I started at my assocation they had only been using Novi for a few months. Even though they haven't been using it for very long, Novi is simple enough that I could figure anything questions out on my own.

Cons

At this moment, there are not any cons that I can think of.

Pros

The team have the troubleshooting aspect of software figured out. They respond to issues/requests in a timely manner with easy to understand directions. There are also some pre-written articles that can help the user navigate while they wait on a response. Can't say enough about the customer support!

Cons

I would prefer a more mobile friendly back end version of the software.

Pros

Novi is a great tool for event creation and member management. The two work hand in hand so you are able to manage individual's attendance, membership status and dues!

Cons

The novi guest profile features do not reset/include information once connected to an account.

The team is friendly and accommodating. I like that they listen to our concerns and make changes relatively quickly.

Pros

It is very easy to use and they are constantly updating the software to make it better. It's very easy to update the front-end of the website.

Cons

Anytime you change systems it is frustrating. They have less features than our previous AMS, but sometimes less is more.

Great on boarding process with people who really knew how to help us get things done, wonderful intuitive process for setting up the website and migrating data, and knowledgeable professionals.

Pros

Everything. QuickBooks integration, user experience, functionality, and professionalism.

Cons

Nothing, I was a little unhappy about leaving our previous website, but the integration in Novi made this a no brainer.

I am so happy to finally be able to provide our members with a professional AMS that is feature fill and beneficial to every aspect of our association. I can't wait to see what Novi has in store for the future.

Pros

This AMS is far superior to any other I have ever used in managing our membership database. The application is easy to learn, polished and user friendly, filled with fantastic features with more added regularly, and boasts a responsive and efficient support system.

Cons

That I didn't find it sooner for one. I do not see any issues with the software to date. If there are issues Novi is quick to help and make things right.

### "Novi AMS Offers Flexibilty"

We switched to from a custom built website and database. Like most associations, we had many little nuances that made the thought of using an existing AMS daunting. Novi has enough flexibility that we were able to transition our information over fairly easily and it has been working well so far. Switching to a new system was not easy but the staff and support has been great and very helpful along the way.

Still have a lot to learn, but the ease of use. Easy to find information and the members are able to log in and sign up for events and review and pay invoices. Tremendous time saver.

Pros

The ease of use and not having to enter the same information in multiple screens.

Cons

Not able to see how a payment was made in Novi for instance (check, cash or credit card).
