Our experience has been outstanding. We transitioned from Booker/Mindbody earlier this year, and the difference has been night and day. Mangomint has improved every aspect of our workflow, from appointment management to payment processing, and their call and chat support has been there every step of the way. The system is reliable, secure, and easy for both our team and our clients to use. We’ve experienced very minimal downtime (if any), and on the rare occasions there are updates or issues, they communicate transparently and resolve things quickly with no impact on our business.

Pros

Mangomint excels across the board, but what stands out most is their customer support, both chat and call support are responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The user interface is clean, modern, and incredibly intuitive, making day-to-day appointment management seamless. Payment processing is smooth and reliable, and we’ve had zero issues with transactions or client checkouts. Overall, the value for money is excellent given the features, support, and reliability.

Cons

There’s very little to complain about. The only minor downside was the initial learning curve when transitioning from Booker/Mindbody, but even that was made easier by Mangomint’s excellent onboarding and support team. Some advanced features may require a bit of training, but the support team is always there to help.

It has been pretty fun to start working with Mangomint. For the most part it is easy. We are still getting to know the system bit by bit.

Pros

I love everything about Mangomint! It is very easy to navigate and schedule or modify appointment. The app is just as powerful as the full browser version and customer service is superior to all others. It has so many functions that make the work day so much smoother like internal messaging with clients and support for a great price.

Cons

It is really difficult to think of anything that I do not like. I have asked for several things in my text support chats and they have said they submitted a request to add those features. Right now I have an appointment scheduled for 1.27 at 12pm to learning how to make changes to an appointment that was scheduled online. We are having trouble with this. Also, how to charge a no show client in full using the card that they used to place the deposit. Sending the self checkout link will never work for a client that does not value our time. They will not willingly pay. We need to be able to charge the card they used for the deposit.

I've had an incredibly positive experience with Mangomint. I can't speak enough about their customer service and how helpful they are in answering any and all questions you have.

Pros

Mangomint is incredibly user friendly, and if you run into any issues their chat support is quick to reply. They have an extensive FAQ that walks you through every single feature and process. Online booking is easily integrated into your website with intuitive scheduling management. For example, it will ensure appointments are booked without a weird gap in a service provider's schedule. There are options to ensure one provider isn't favored over another when it comes to online bookings. Security has always been top notch on both the client and staff side. Card information is safely stored and only shows staff members the last 4 digits, never the full number. You have to walk through multiple steps to charge a client's card so they should never be accidentally charged. Client information is also secure with their personal information being able to be withheld from certain staff members. I could go on and on about each feature, because there are so many detailed and helpful ones from day to day business operations to appointment bookings. Easily the most comprehensive booking system out there.

Cons

We had tried their payroll processing system for a month but it wasn't built out enough for us to justify swapping over from our current platform. It's a more expensive option with fewer features.

Terribel. As soon as you are done onboarding there is no customer service. They will tell you that they aren’t available dor phone callsz once i tried to cancrl i learned my entire account will be deleted and ill never have access to any of those files. I have used many scheduling systems and this is not the case. Mangomint also nickel and dimes you for add ons and becomes very expensive quickly

It is simple. Clients did not complain about online booking

Cons

There was no way to have a deposit go to a clients account if they has already prepurchased a package. Almost making prepurchasing more inconvenient to clients

Switching to Mangomint has been such a great decision for our salon. The transition from our previous system was incredibly easy—exporting all of our information was smooth, and the Mangomint team has been beyond helpful. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and truly supportive every step of the way. We’ve only been live for about a week, and our clients are already loving it. The online booking is clean, easy to use, and visually appealing. Clients especially enjoy being able to upload inspiration photos directly when booking their appointments, which has been a game changer for consultations. The client communication and texting features alone have been a lifesaver. With our previous software, we couldn’t see message history or conversations, which made things confusing and inconsistent. Mangomint keeps everything organized and visible, eliminating the guesswork entirely. We’re also very excited to run payroll for the first time next week. Having direct deposit and not needing to manually handle employee taxes or send everything to our accountant will save so much time and stress. We can’t wait to continue exploring everything Mangomint offers and see how much more efficient it can help us become—for both our team and our clients.

Things we dislike at the time Cannot charge a surcharge on credit card and am ECO fee with being a Green Circle Salon Not being able to Intergrate Vish Color system Top production report for all The stylist teeth for a certain date range. Showing all on one paper. Having total clients, service $ per hour, retail to service %, retail $, prebooking%, client retention. So we Don’t have to have a report for each one and back. When a sale is closed and done. The screen doesn’t close or give you a button to click On to be done and not keep a screen up for what was rang up. Having to click appointment book then it wants On make an app and then you have to close that out just to clear Sales Screen after someone pays. Have option or a box to pop up when ringing out client to remind the person ringing them up to ask client to prebook.

It's been a decent experience. When I've had set up issues, I've been able to use their chat support and even schedule phone support.

Pros

Intuitive to set up and use. Clean user interface. Decent value for the money. Customer support is good.

Cons

Somewhat limited - especially if not a hair salon. It's near to impossible to have every feature that everyone wants - and not end up with a complicated mess. But, there are still some features I wish the product had - like true unlimited membership.

I really enjoy Mangomint. When all of our systems seem outdated, it's nice to have a modern, colorful, and efficient way to schedule our patients.

Pros

I like having an easy way to see our schedule, as well as being able to direct message patients. I also like that there is a way to jump to 4,6,8 weeks from a certain date for scheduling purposes.

Cons

I think there should be a way to auto-select rooms instead of immediately going to all staff when changing locations.

After using multiple scheduling platforms and having frustrations with all of them, I have been more than happy with Mangomint. Not only does it have every feature I need in my business, the system is very reliable and hardly ever glitches if at all which was a constant problem with other platforms I've used. Overall I'm extremely happy with Mangomint and I hope they continue to improve the user experience and features to keep it top notch!

Pros

I love the clean and easy to use platform. It's not only easy for my team to use, but also for the client to use. I love that clients don't need a login to book online, and the process to book online is very simple and straight forward. There is almost every single feature you could ask for in a booking site, and they continue to add more! Any time I need assistance, I get a real person to help me and they're always friendly and able to help me out.

Cons

I wish there were a few more features like a longer checkout period with the self checkout link which expires quickly, and better gap prevention on the online scheduling. The cancel/reschedule link could also be more visible on the the confirmation messages. The card readers are also finicky but I've had that issue with every card reader from every other booking platform/pos system I've used

Overall, I love the app. I have used many online systems and this one has been the best. They are responsive and patient. I’m pain in ass when I am uncertain of technical things and they’re always listening. They’re always improving so I am sure the few issues I have will eventually improve. I am still a very happy customer

Pros

I have been a user of Mangomint for at least five years. The app is easy to use. Running reports and tracking inventory, sales, etc. is extremely easy. I was able to customize how we book appointments so that my staff has more flexibility. They book the chair and time they need without the pressure of working only at one station. We are able to text message clients and do a pre-consultation. This includes being able to send images as well. It’s a cool function.

Cons

I was not a huge fan of the payroll system. It was easy to use but there were a lot of clerical issues. Emails are little tricky to draft and I’d like to see that be more of a drag and drop function. The waitlist functionality is great except for the fact that it doesn’t require a card to be put on file when someone new adds themselves to the waitlist. We’ve lost a few appointments and had a handful of no-shows because of that.

Mangomint is fantastic at listening to its users. When we’ve made suggestions, the team genuinely takes them into consideration and often works to implement them. The platform is also very reliable and constantly evolving to meet the needs of growing businesses, which we really appreciate.

Cons

The price point is quite high compared to other CRMs, which can be a barrier—especially for smaller businesses. Basic customization options, like editing reminder emails, require additional marketing credits. It would be nice if more core features were included without extra fees. Paying extra for the Shopify integration just to sync inventory feels frustrating, especially since we’re already paying premium pricing for the software itself.

The transition from our last system was easy. Everyone was super helpful from the start and respected how many questions we had in the beginning until it became our new normal. Customers had no issues with the change for online booking and love that they don't need a password to sign in. We also love the fun merch we got and proudly wear our stuff all the time to support! Consistent updates and improvements show us Mangomint is one to stick with and continue to grow our business as they grow theirs.

Pros

We love so many things about Mangomint! First off, customer service is stellar. They are positive, helpful, and quick. We love using both the desktop and mobile app together for scheduling and customer texting. Customers love online booking as well!

Cons

We would like to have the option of seeing a full week view on the desktop calendar screen. We would like to see the actual add-ons listed in the calendar appointment block so none are overlooked. We would love to see the suggested tip percentages be based on the original service cost, not after discounts are applied. Also would like the option for the customer to be able to add a tip on the client facing ipad if their total is $0 due to a prepayment.

I am so glad I chose to work with Mangomint for my salon. Every time I’ve had to reach out to customer support with questions, no matter how silly the questions seems, they are always so helpful and kind

Pros

I love that Mangomint feels like a small company, but they have the most affordable options, and really great features, it is very user friendly, and customer support is easy to connect with.

Cons

I’d love to be able to access the express booking feature for a small fee vs. having to upgrade to the next tier level.

Easy peasy! Running a small business is chaotic enough, Mangomint streamlined everything and I felt supported through the entire process.

Pros

Vv user-friendly: for small business owners and clients alike. Simple process to navigate, customize, and customer support top-notch! Mangomint’s built in Flow templates streamline client communication and retention. The calendar and appointment management is beautiful while keeping our clients data secure/ HIPPA compliant. Website integration was seamless and scheduling process is low-barrier for potential clients. Switched to Mangomint from a free platform but am already seeing more appointments booked as a result— definite value for cost!

Cons

The marketing credits cost extra, however, Mangomint includes a bunch when you sign up. More templates geared toward Medical practices would be helpful.

Pros

Ive used 5 different salon softwares and this onboarding was the absolute easiest I've ever experienced. The customer service is topnotch, and the software is esthetically pleasing for us and our clients, and super easy to use.

Cons

So far nothing. The things that I would like are slated to come through at the end of this quarter!!

Awesome POS for massage therapists and like minded providers. Love their quick customer service (get response within 5min) and mobil friendly. I can do everything from my phone except send mass emails

I love how quick mangomint customer support is and how mobil friendly the software is including able to send mobil friendly client intake forms and create custom forms like soap notes

Cons

Wish could book group services with 2 clients and 2 therapists like couples but they are working on this already. Also wish could set up more payroll and service reports specifically to the providers who did the service without giving them access to all reports

We love Mangomint and are confident we made the right choice going with them. Our clients and staff have been very happy with it.

Pros

It is VERY user friendly with very attentive customer support if needed. We love having payroll right in the software.

Cons

This is me being picky to answer this question, but I wish it was a tad more customizable for one or two things.

Mangomint offers great customer service and quick answers to any questions. Also lets us know when the system is having problems.

Pros

Flexibility in accessing transactions and ability to edit after the transaction date. Ability to print out stylist's daily schedules.

Cons

Price is higher than other salon softwares but it's the only system that meets our needs of printing daily schedules and printing clients future appointments.

I have used a lot of different booking software for massage, this one is by far my favorite, from the simple layout and ease of booking different appointment types, to the analytics, it has everything you need.

Pros

It has a simple layout that makes it easy to book clients, fill out their soap notes and add files. I also enjoy the analytical side. They update almost instantly and make’s it easy to track daily and weekly totals!

Cons

Can assign different colors to each practitioner to visually keep appointments organized by practitioner.

We’ve used a few other systems but MangoMint is the best we’ve ever used. They have thought of pretty much everything.

Pros

It makes running a salon (especially payroll time) much quicker and easier, clients love it and any questions or concerns we have are always replied to and solved very quickly.

Cons

It’s minor but to make each provider more customizable instead of certain features being all or none.

positive, prefer it to other softwares i have worked with :) Love how easy it was to learn and navigate!

Pros

Works great! Super user friendly and love the support chat, they are always prompt and straightforward!

Cons

no major gripes. i do wish there were some specific features that would be helpful, like automatically saving client history in different categories and more options on filtering sales/products.
