Overall, I’d give it a solid 10/10. The support team is always on top of things, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve made the process easy and stress-free.

Pros

I absolutely love their booking software! It’s smooth, intuitive, and makes scheduling effortless for both clients and staff. Such a great experience overall!

Cons

There’s nothing I really dislike. One area I think could be improved is adding an expiration date option for account balances or unused credits, so they can automatically roll off over time.

Absolutely poor quality. Customers didn’t even know how to streamline appointments, and the system forced clients to create accounts while capturing their emails, which could be used by other spas in the area. We ended up losing many regular clients because of this outdated software.

Easy for the clinic to schedule patients and online booking. Checking out a sale is also very easy!!

Not able to compare pictures side by side and show to the patients the before and after. We have to use another app for that.

Terribel. As soon as you are done onboarding there is no customer service. They will tell you that they aren’t available dor phone callsz once i tried to cancrl i learned my entire account will be deleted and ill never have access to any of those files. I have used many scheduling systems and this is not the case. Mangomint also nickel and dimes you for add ons and becomes very expensive quickly

It is simple. Clients did not complain about online booking

Cons

There was no way to have a deposit go to a clients account if they has already prepurchased a package. Almost making prepurchasing more inconvenient to clients

My overall experience has been great. They listen to my requests about what I need. They are prompt in helping when I have questions.

Pros

Our online booking is so much easier with Mangomint. Guests have commented repeatedly how easy it is to use, customer support is top notch!

Cons

There are some formatting issues in reports, and there are some reports I would like to have. I would also like a drop down menu that would allow more details about salon guests, such as shop guest, referral, repeat, request, new request

100% satisfaction with all phases of transfer. I am still learning about all the added benefits but I am most excited about being able to have the client check out while sitting in the chair

The amazing support team and contact person walked me through each step of the transfer. I would say I was very skeptical about changing after being with the same company for so many years, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. I like that we had a “check off” list to keep me on track.

Cons

The price I felt initially was a little more, but honestly I did not have any additional features with my previous software program. I am happy with the rate based on all that I am receiving

I love this platform. I've been using it for years. It makes booking online & manually extremely easy. Anytime I have ever had a problem they have always fixed it. The customer service is amazing. It's worth the money. I also love how they are always looking for ways to be better.

Pros

I like the aesthetic of the whole thing, I feel like I have seen other booking sites in the past and noticed how cluttered they look compared to mangomint’s more sleek look.

Cons

There is nothing I can think of that I like the least, there are some things that you just need to play around with in order to figure out which takes some time but there is no avoiding the learning period on how to use it!

Overall I like it and haven't had any major issues. Again, there can be improvement but it's not an end factor.

Pros

It is definitely user friendly, especially for those who are not tech savvy. Scheduling/appointment is both easy for staff and patients - just with a click of button! I also appreciate the help chat!

Cons

I wish there is a better way to chart injectables, like botox. For example, have a face for the provider to mark on the face. I also wish there was a way to compare photos for before and afters.

After using multiple scheduling platforms and having frustrations with all of them, I have been more than happy with Mangomint. Not only does it have every feature I need in my business, the system is very reliable and hardly ever glitches if at all which was a constant problem with other platforms I've used. Overall I'm extremely happy with Mangomint and I hope they continue to improve the user experience and features to keep it top notch!

Pros

I love the clean and easy to use platform. It's not only easy for my team to use, but also for the client to use. I love that clients don't need a login to book online, and the process to book online is very simple and straight forward. There is almost every single feature you could ask for in a booking site, and they continue to add more! Any time I need assistance, I get a real person to help me and they're always friendly and able to help me out.

Cons

I wish there were a few more features like a longer checkout period with the self checkout link which expires quickly, and better gap prevention on the online scheduling. The cancel/reschedule link could also be more visible on the the confirmation messages. The card readers are also finicky but I've had that issue with every card reader from every other booking platform/pos system I've used

Overall, Mangomint is my 3rd software in 9 months. I am obsessed with Mangomint and will utilize your platform for the foreseeable future. The user interface is top notch above other software demos I have endured. Although Mangomint is higher priced than other platforms, the additional features justify the price (the value for money).

Pros

Mangomint is fantastic for the customer experience with booking and adding additional services. I can easily add a custom items for extra profit building (customer support). The profit team was essential in assisting my small business with tips and tricks for improving customer retention. The payment processing is in line with the other salon platforms. Customers rave about the security of Mangomint while booking online. Their card information isn't saved unless they choose; and they like that they don't have to do a profile.

Cons

I would suggest that Mangomint utilize text campaigns more and work this into their platform. I used Gloss Genius and I noticed I had a better ROI with text messages versus email campaigns. The refund process is poor. I have had charge back requests. There should be a streamlined process for returning deposits. The scheduling system isn't conducive to teams. I have to go between 'work hours' for each person and the appointment schedule. I have to use my iPhone to look at one view and the laptop for another. In California our nail techs are W2--which means I do their schedules. I request an At A Glance scheduling upgrade.

The customer service from a customer who works for Mangomint. I had a poor tech the first demo. She prompted me to try again and I did. That tech was able to convert our software over in less than a week. We had instant feedback that this was an excellent choice (customers and staff).

Mangomint has helped Fix Studios get back to focusing on our clients instead of our platform. It is nice to partner with a company that values it's clients as much as we do. I cannot say enough how the surprise swag box impressed me. It made me feel like Mangomint values Fix Studios just like we value our clients.

Pros

Fix Studios switched to Mangomint after utilizing an overcomplicated, frustrating platform. Mangomint is a tremendous value for the money and their customer service is fantastic. When we made the switch to Mangomint it was so easy and the data import was done with impressive time. The user inertface is easy to use and customization features are great.

Cons

What I like least about Mangomint is that their customer support is so fast at answering their chats I don't have time for the ladies room.

The payroll center is very easy to use. I love that you can input the employees commission percentage and it calculates their pay. I also love that you can input the cost of products, it then calculates commission on the products minus the cost of product. Client messaging is also very useful. Check out options for zelle, credit card, cash, Apple Cash is very useful

Cons

I would like to see the following improvements: An option for a quick touch button or message to sent to clients letting them know your ready for service them. Being able to drag an appointment or stretch it without editing it Being able to change service type without deleting the entire service The system to be smart enough to avoid random gaps. Different stylists have different haircut time. Example, some stylist take 20 mins for a men’s haircut, some 30 mins, others 40 mins. I would like haircut options to be offered to clients at times that avoid random 10 or 20 min gaps. We can have to manually move the appointments by calling each client to fill in the gaps to create extra appointment spots

Overall, Mangomint was one of the cleanest, easiest-to-use salon software platforms we’ve worked with. The booking system was smooth, the interface was modern and intuitive, and our team picked it up quickly without much training. When we switched from our previous software, which we’d used for two years, our bookings increased by 20%. That alone made the transition worth it. While there were a few limitations around pricing customizations and texting privacy, it was a major upgrade in terms of user experience and daily operations.

Pros

It was super clean, easy to use, and way more modern than a lot of other salon software. The booking flow made intuitive sense, it was simple to manage multiple stylists and types of services, and we didn’t need hours of training to get the team up to speed. I also liked how customizable the settings were, which made it easier to work with our hourly, gratuity-free setup. Bonus points for outstanding customer support when we needed it.

Cons

We wish the timing and pricing customizations increased by a percentage instead of a flat dollar amount. With our hourly pricing model and each provider having their own rate, this feature didn’t work for us and made pricing adjustments a manual process. We also wish the two-way texting feature allowed conversations to be private between a provider and their client, instead of making every conversation visible to the entire salon team.

I appreciated that our first rep never once talked poorly about any other company or brand—felt honest and respectful. 2. The client-facing side of Mangomint is the easiest to use, with the least number of clicks to book an appointment. That smooth, simple experience matters a lot to us and our clients.

So far I feel so great about Mangomint. The onboarding process was so personalized which made it feel really special. I felt like they actually cared about us and our business as opposed to other software companies who treat data migration very different. You feel considered and taken care of. Between the user-friendliness, ease in online booking and amazing customer service, this software is a no-brainer for businesses.

Pros

So far, so good! The data migration process was almost seamless and very personal. \[sensitive content hidden\] was so helpful throughout the entire process. Although there were a few small issues post-migration, she immediately attended to our concerns and fixed everything - even on a weekend! So far this is the best software we have used. It is extremely intuitive, fast, reliable and totally user friendly. Their online booking integration allows clients to book straight from your website - making appointment booking easy and streamlined (getting you more appointments). I have been using it only for a week and I feel like a pro. It is truly so much better than any other software we have used in the past. Also the customer service is AMAZING! They respond so fast and will actually help you instead of giving you links to useless articles. They actually helped me implement the online booking integration to our website on a Sunday, no less!

Cons

So far I have no complaints. The only thing that MangoMint doesn't have is the ability to book packages with multiple providers (if a package requires multiple service providers, that is). However, there are very easy solutions to this issue. Also the reports are a bit lacking in terms of detail, but I am hoping that this is something they can update in the future!

Boulevard was way too expensive. It didn't really seem like it was worth the price given their high credit card processing fees and their lack of ability to segment themselves from other booking software that offer the same services. Seemed just like a fancy system that didn't really have anything new to offer.

Vagaro was less than desirable. Our consistent issues were ignored and the only offer to compensate was for us to call them. We lost so much revenue from glitches, clients ability to delete their payment method from their profile, preventing us from being able to charge a cancellation fee, clients are forced to create an account with Vagaro in order to book which turned away so many appointments, The credit card processing fees for card-not-present was exorbitant. We will never go back.

The transition from our last system was easy. Everyone was super helpful from the start and respected how many questions we had in the beginning until it became our new normal. Customers had no issues with the change for online booking and love that they don't need a password to sign in. We also love the fun merch we got and proudly wear our stuff all the time to support! Consistent updates and improvements show us Mangomint is one to stick with and continue to grow our business as they grow theirs.

Pros

We love so many things about Mangomint! First off, customer service is stellar. They are positive, helpful, and quick. We love using both the desktop and mobile app together for scheduling and customer texting. Customers love online booking as well!

Cons

We would like to have the option of seeing a full week view on the desktop calendar screen. We would like to see the actual add-ons listed in the calendar appointment block so none are overlooked. We would love to see the suggested tip percentages be based on the original service cost, not after discounts are applied. Also would like the option for the customer to be able to add a tip on the client facing ipad if their total is $0 due to a prepayment.

Pros

I love that Mangomint feels like a small company, but they have the most affordable options, and really great features, it is very user friendly, and customer support is easy to connect with.

Cons

I’d love to be able to access the express booking feature for a small fee vs. having to upgrade to the next tier level.

I worked at a salon software company in the past so I feel like I'm extremely picky when it comes to what I want my software to do. I did demos with a few places before going with Mangomint. I definitely think it's one of the best out there and their support team has been so hopeful for anything I can't figure out on my own.

Pros

Pros: Ease of use, aesthetic user interface, online booking is easy to setup and easy for our clients to use, works well for a rental salon

Cons

Cons: I wish there was more reporting. It has all the reporting you'd need to run the business but there's been a few times I've thought of things that there aren't reports for.

I didn't love online booking with DaySmart, Vagaro advertises other salons in our area, I believe Phorest or Meevo didn't have an app or it wasn't user friendly and Meevo's user interface seemed so outdated. Mangomint checked the boxes of all the things the others were lacking.

The software is Easy. The onboarding is Efficient. The subscription is Saving me money not only in its overall fees but by making it so I can eliminate additional softwares that I've used to run my business.

Pros

Ive used 5 different salon softwares and this onboarding was the absolute easiest I've ever experienced. The customer service is topnotch, and the software is esthetically pleasing for us and our clients, and super easy to use.

Cons

So far nothing. The things that I would like are slated to come through at the end of this quarter!!

I truly enjoy using Mangomint software. It not only makes appointment management and client booking easy, but also provides awesome business insights with many reporting features. Mangomint makes both daily operations and business growth manageable.

Pros

Very useful user interface with many customization options. Good value and awesome support. Makes daily operations a breeze.

Cons

Some features could use enhancements, but call and chat support is always taking feedback to help the software and customer experience improve.

My overall experience is a 10/10! I am beyond pleased with MangoMint and it seems that they are constantly working on improvements. I seriously applaud the support and responsiveness for everyone involved in making our go live successful!

Pros

Our onboarding specialist was incredible and always there to help no matter the time of day or how simple my question was. The chat support messaging built into MangoMint is very good and I was really blown away by how quickly the support messaged me back. I will also add that the chat support team is always very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they actually work for MangoMint and not a third party. The online learning center that MangoMint provides is top notch and had a ton of resources, videos, and photos. There were also many webinars with full walkthroughs with product managers. While there are some "quirks" that MangoMint has, most of its features and layout are very easy to use and everything is common sense on where things should be placed or how you would use it. Coming from Phorest, MangoMint is very elegant and easy to use. The mobile app is also the full software so pretty much everything you do at the front desk can be done on the phone.

Cons

I wish there was a full onboarding training session offered so the entire staff can be together and walk through the product and demo with the onboarding specialist. I think having the option to have a training session for the whole staff would remove nervousness about moving to a new platform and make the staff feel confidence in the move.

Phorest is clunky and ran slow on our devices. Phorest requires a full install for any device that needs to run it. Our spa outgrew the software and Phorest does not update features nearly as often as they need to for a modern client.

I have used a lot of different booking software for massage, this one is by far my favorite, from the simple layout and ease of booking different appointment types, to the analytics, it has everything you need.

Pros

It has a simple layout that makes it easy to book clients, fill out their soap notes and add files. I also enjoy the analytical side. They update almost instantly and make’s it easy to track daily and weekly totals!

Cons

Can assign different colors to each practitioner to visually keep appointments organized by practitioner.

We’ve had a great experience using this booking software. The team is consistently making updates based on our needs and even specific requests, which makes us feel heard and supported. Anytime we’ve had an issue or question, their response time has been quick and helpful. From the client side, the platform is very easy to navigate. It offers a wide range of features that allow us to stay in consistent communication with our clients, push out marketing, create specials, and manage bookings efficiently—all in one place. Overall, it’s been a great tool for both our staff and our guests, and we truly love using it.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this software is how responsive the team is to user feedback. Updates are frequently made based on real needs and specific requests, which makes the platform feel tailored rather than generic. The software is also very user-friendly for clients, making booking and communication simple and seamless. There are numerous built-in features that allow us to consistently message clients, share marketing content, build specials, and stay connected without needing multiple systems. Overall, it’s an efficient, well-rounded platform that supports both day-to-day operations and client engagement.

Cons

Because the software is always evolving (which is ultimately a good thing), there are frequent updates. The only minor downside is having to continuously update staff and occasionally remind clients about new features or changes. That said, it’s not a major con—just part of using a platform that’s actively improving.

Pros

Mangomint is incredibly easy to use and so clean. The interface is modern, fast, and honestly feels like it was made specifically for beauty professionals. Booking, clients, reminders, everything is smooth. It saves me time, keeps me organized, and gives my clients a luxury booking experience.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, and a couple features I wish were more customizable, but nothing major. Once you get used to it, it’s seamless.
