I have gone ahead to even refer other online freelancers to use Payoneer. Pros First to mention is the fact that by successful signup with Payoneer, I automatically have accounts with 3 different foreign banks with their currencies and could apply to get 2 more, it comes with a real bank account details, it's so unique to Payoneer (as far as I know), and once I receive payments to these accounts, it shows in my Payoneer balance. Wow!!!, so bae. Another thing is my ability to withdraw straight to my bank account, especially here in Nigeria where Paypal has some restrictions. Nothing serves better. Another unique feature from Payoneer is the option to request for a Payoneer Master Card which can be used ANYWHERE!!!. Not to forget their easily navigateable website interface. Cons First to note off their excessive charges, if u don't use your account within 12-months you also get charged, absurd, they should review their charges. Pros It is a great company, we can have foreign currency accounts such as dollars or euros, and also gives us a debit card that they send anywhere in the world. We can also make payments in online stores or in stores wherever we are, we can also use the card to get money from the ATM, in addition to all this that is great, companies can also pay us to our payoneer account. Cons It is a good company, but the prices they have in terms of annual fees or to activate the card should lower them and they should also be able to offer more services available to everyone since few people can pay the payoneer fees. Pros I mainly use Payoneer when I freelance for Data Entry, and I find it very intuitive and easy to use, the way it processes payments is fast and secure, and you'll able to set up multiple payment portals. Cons I didn't like the difficultly of setting up a new bank account when I removed one, I wasn't able to add a new bank account without going through customer service, the waiting time took weeks, but it was worth it because the customer service rep was super friendly and helpful and helping me resolve my issue, and the issue was solved quickly after contact. Multiple +ve and -ve replies saying verified and not verified. By the time it was up and running I had setup paypal, stripe india and no longer needed payoneer. Also they wanted the customers to create a payoneer account to pay, instead of just a credit card to pay. And make it really difficult to cancel and close the account. They will ask you to contact support, and then email some lengthly forms as the next step and then threaten saying you will never be able to open again if you close this account etc. All bullshit reason to stay and keep paying their yearly fees. Pros FIRC - this document was needed by indian govt. Transferwise was making it hard to get. Payoneer was giving it by default. Cons how they charge an annual fee on top of transaction fee. Pros Opening an account is quick and easy and the verification procedure is not complicated. Payoneer sends the card to the door of the house. Payoneer gives great importance to security, so the activation of the card is only done after the user receives it and does it himself. Cons with payoneer you cannot receive money from anyone. only approved companies are accepted this limits the freedom of the user to transfer money from his local bank to payoneer for example. also when a card is blocked , the associated account can no longer receive money.
