October 19, 2022 5.0 Pros This is the most flexible platform to receive money if you are involved in the online freelancing business.Payoneer connects with many local banks in many countries making money transfer stress free.Their transactions are faster than the stipulated time frames,I usually recieve my money within an hour of initiating a transaction.They also have a digital mastercard which is widely accepted everywhere which is refreshing and the application process was fairly easy. Cons However they have refused to lift the $50 minimum limit they set for withdrawal.They also have that same $50 minimum when sending money between two payoneer accounts which discourages their users from sending money between each other.Right now I only use it to receive money that is above $50. I hate it when sometimes when I have to wait for my money to reach $50 when I need to use my money immediately. Sometimes I 'm forced to buy online using the digital mastercard because I can't reach the withdrawal limit.They also charge $32 a year for the mastercard which is an unreasonably high amount to pay for a card. The company O work for is in other country, and with Payoneer I receive their payments. And I can use the money with my Payoneer card. Being a freelancer and remote worker is possible with Payoneer. I don't know another software that works this way and does it so well. Pros \- I can receive payments in several currencies via bank transfer, with very low commissions. If someone is going to pay me in one of the currencies that Payoneer does not have, I can send them an invoice, so they can pay that way with their credit or debit card. - The withdrawal fees are acceptable. The technical support is fabulous. It responds very quickly and to all questions I have had. - The Payoneer card is great, It is accepted by all merchants I have used it at. It also allows me to buy cryptocurrencies, which is great! Cons \- To unlock all the features, users have to pass verifications levels that depend on the amounts they receive in their Payoneer account. This problem makes the experience a bit frustrating at first. - The interface is confusing; the website took me some getting used to. The dashboard of Payoneer is really easy to understand and use. Even Payoneer mobile application dashboard and the interface are really nice. So I am really satisfied with this great online Payment system. Pros You can receive your freelance website payments through Payoneer. Payoneer is really a great online payment platform. You can easily withdraw your earnings to your bank account or even you can use Payoneer card to withdraw money from ATM. You can also get bank account numbers of different countries and currencies. So easily you can also use these international receiving accounts for your online store like for your store at Amazon. Cons I do a lot of transactions in Payoneer. Payoneer approved request: no added information requested. Despite being called a “customer” by Payoneer, my only relationship is with (omitted)—Payoneer is used as a payment processor. On 2-21-2024, I was notified by (omitted) and Payoneer by email I was due a payment. From 2-28-2024, I contacted Payoneer MANY times to get the payment: Payoneer’s site stated it should have been issued to me without further action. Payoneer failed to remedy the issue OR issue payment, and then demanded my Personally Protected Information, which I refused to provide. On 3-15-2024, I contacted the Better Business Bureau: I reported Payoneer’s bad and unlawful conduct, I demanded Payoneer send payment owed to me, as well as $208.33 for my time and labor spent resolving the matter. Only after the public BBB complaint did Payoneer send payment ($208.33 was not included): Payoneer employee “ \[sensitive content hidden\]” was unprofessional, rude, and continued to make materially misleading and false misrepresentations…Payoneer claimed I was to blame for Payoneer’s failures; they alleged falsely I failed to use the correct email address. Payoneer cannot balance its budget and increase profits by wrongly withholding funds it is obligated to pay. This is what Payoneer did between Black History Month and Women's History Month in 2024. Payoneer is a company that should be quickly and swiftly investigated for flouting U.S. laws and requiring users to publicly shame Payoneer before Payoneer will engage meaningfully and resume talks to resolve payment issues. If they need to "Review" something or "Verify" something, get ready for a bureaucratic hell. Pros I don't get why it exists at all. I can't like anything since it's only an extra unnecessary layer of bureaucracy. If the companies I work with could simply pay directly to my bank... Payoneer is like that company that seems to exist to get profit and not for any other purpose. I would be even ready to pay a few bucks extra for bank fees if I could avoid using their services. Cons Customer support. I have had an issue for over 2 months and they can't do the simplest tasks. Every time I call and text them we start from the beginning. I know I'm talking to people and they are obliged to do everything according to the list of actions prescribed to them but sometimes seems like GPT is smarter. For 2 months they have been working on my case (Which is super simple), they send me emails every second day and they are still on the very first step of "reviewing" the issue with a relevant team and "verifying" so that it will take 24-48 hours, please get back to us then so we can start the whole process from the beginning. April 27, 2023 5.0 Pros What I like most about payoneer is that it allows me to get paid from international companies as though I was working locally. That means it takes away the headache when it comes toi being paid for jobs you do for international clients. In essence it bridges the gap when it comes to recieving international payments Cons The only con that I have experience was the two weeks waiting period to recieve my card. It was a convenient way for me, but I don't like the lack of transparency and sometimes high fees. Payoneer has some catching up to do if it wants to compete with more modern payment solutions. That being said, Payoneer has been around for a long time, is secure and reliable, so definitely worth exploring if you're looking to add more ways to pay & get paid in your business. Pros What I like the most about Payoneer is that this is an easy way to bill clients and get paid right inside my account. This is especiallyl usefull in the freelancing business and in digital businesses. It's easy to request money and the withdrawal time is reasonable. I usually got my money in my bank account after a couple of days (sometimes up to 5-7 days depending on whether there's a weekend/holiday included). Payoneer isn't my main payment platform, but I'm glad to have it available in case I or my client need it. Cons I didn't like that there are certain minimum requirements depending on the currency you're using. I wanted to send smaller amounts but wasn't able to do this as there were higher minimums required. The fees are also higher than with other tools and you can get charged fees if your account is inactive for a longer time. This is not a modern practice anymore, I think Payoneer needs to modernize it's entire system and rules. Payoneer is also not as advanced as other platforms, so what you can do with it is rather limited in my experience, unless you're a programmer and use the API. Review Source Edin U. Cons There is a long set up process involved once you just start using Payoneer. There are a lot of requirements, settings, documentation to be provided, which is time consuming. The customer support is very patient in helping fixing problem of my account and very understanding in the process. Pros Receiving a funds from different currency all over the world is doable with Payoneer. There are some charges included, but not too high like other payment processor platform. I can order a debit card from this service, and withdrawing the funds from my account easily without having to place a withdrawal request that may takes time 1-2 weeks for the funds landing to my local bank. Cons The thing that i dislike with Payoneer is, it can't be used to receive payment or fund from individual account and only processing a payment from business account. I have to change and using other payment processor like PayPal to receive payment from personal account. Other thing is the platform layout is pretty buggy, as it won't shown the the website layout in horizontal display, and only display in device with vertical screen. I did not get any reason or deadline for the return of my funds from customer support. I also did not violate any laws or rules and conducted my business activity following all necessary procedures and rules. Nevertheless, Payoneer blocked me, basically took my funds and refuses to tell me when they will return my money or what I should provide to speed up the process. Payoneer is the worst, most stressful experience I have ever had, and I sincerely hope that the SEC will prosecute this fraudulent company.
