### "Great MFA and SSO authentication solutions"

I am very satisfied with WatchGuard AuthPoint. I find setup and management of the AuthPoint solution fairly easy and well documented. Watchguard support is excellent for the solution. Diagnosing issue with logins is easy thanks to the audit logs.

Pros

Easy and secure access to management through Watchguard Cloud. Documentation for integration with products is available on Watchguard website. The AuthPoint app for the mobile device (Android and Mac) is secure and easy to use. The SSO portal for applications is easy to configure and very convenient for end-users.

Cons

The rare outages of the service which delays or prevents logins. AuthPoint app will not allow me to sort tokens or filter / search for tokens which is a burden when users have dozens on tokens.

Out of all of the MFA apps Authpoint is the best and easiest. Being able to log on with a QR Code when machine is offline is a huge plus.

Pros

The ease to add the tokens to the app and labeling them. Also, being able to back up to the cloud is extremely convenient.

Cons

The lag when getting a token to prompt. Another con is that not all token can be added to the same app.

It started out OK, but now it does not work.

Pros

Not much. It worked for a while but suddenly stopped allowing me to have access and returns to the login screeen

Cons

It stopped working for no reason and I can no longer access our VPN

It's good enough while using in the data security platform. I have been using the Auth point for 5 years and it's good to use. It would better if there are any AI features involved in the watchguard cloud portal

Pros

Strong MFA activities, Fully Cloud management and quick support available from watchguard

Cons

Only depend on mobile device instead of email security, AI tools to configure & troubleshooting, Complicate while configure the authpoint

Push notification is slightly inconsistent. The other mfa mediums are consistent.

Mfa solution that can fit different products usage

Cons

At times, the notification doesn’t appear. Have to press the check for notification in the app for the prompt. Migration from phone to phone requires assistance by MSP

In the past I had Cisco ASA appliances but for my needs the watchguard is much more easier to manage.

Pros

Easy to install and to manage. It works as expected.

Cons

My wish is to integrate this functionality into the appliance. The appliance is reachable from external network and it should be possible to manage it without the cloud interaction.

Very good quality and service provided. Setup can be a little complicated but there are step by step guides available on the Watchguard website.

Pros

Provides secure VPN access using a MFA token. Can be centrally managed via the Watchguard online portal.

Cons

No ability for an end user to reset their Token if they lock themselves out. Must use Watchguard AuthPoint App, cannot be used via MS or Google MFA apps

Pros

Authpoint is easy to setup and use. The users really easy uses it with their smartphones because the authpoint app is really good.

Cons

Right now we dont have any Cons. Maybe they will come later. The system has only been down one time in three years.

Overall it has been very good, few pain points at all and it has helped us strengthen our security posture.

Pros

There was a lot of available documentation related to the set up process that made it so easy to get set up, when I had any questions, support was very easy to reach out to and solve my problems.

Cons

It can be confusing for some users to use, if they are not familiar with MFA, and the app permissions on android can cause problems that I have seen for a select user, otherwise it's very robust.

Ease of setup and user interface make it a easy setup.

Not for us directly, but you need (I believe) to have a WG firebox in order to use the product.,

It is very easy to setup and works consistent. It is easy to manage even for the end-user with the captive portal and generates another layer of security.

Cons

Sometimes the portal is really slow when it comes to loading the customer-sites and opening the configuration page.

Cons

Initially, upon setting up the app, some end users are confused by the moving line but once explained it is no problem.

When Covid hit we moved all out staff to remote work. We were able to set up MFA in under 1 day to increase security of connections to office network resources in a short time and feel almost as secure as we were when staff worked in -office. Watchguard MFA was an integral part of a comprehensive security approach

Pros

Very simple management, and the mobile app was simple use for our staff. The mobile app was compatible with almost all 2FA /MFA supporting websites as staff were able to extend security to unrelated sites used by the company that they visited.

Cons

Deeper integration with 3rd part tools. I would like to use for MFA for desktop logins

Less costly and easily integrated to our VPN product.

I've deployed AuthPoint for WatchGuard mobile VPN client, as well as for OpenVPN to a pfSense firewall, and have used it to secure Windows Login. When configuring for the pfSense, there were issues that involved digging through several logs for all the services involved in getting it to work (AuthPoint Cloud, AuthPoint Gateway, Microsoft Network Policy Server, Active Directory and pfSense)

Pros

\- support for a wide array of products, including MFA for Windows Login- Cloud based management- Different policies for geolocation (geofencing and geokinetics), network location, time scheduling

Cons

\- per-user cost involved to use and if only using for mobile VPN, may not be worthwhile as there are "free" solutions available (ie. Microsoft Authenticator)- when using for 3rd party services, there can be a lot of troubleshooting involved amongst many services

Support has been amazing great help with the first setup and any problems in the future were immediately supported.

Pros

Very easy to use and securing it along side Watchguard Firewall. Connects well to onsite and cloud users

Cons

The initial setup takes about an hour but that is it it's really great to use. The only change I would like is the logs to be on the same page as the Authpoint instead of having to change to the admin then logs

Already has the Watchguard Firewalls and AuthPoint complimented it perfectly

Pros

I really like it. Though getting it complete is a bit of a challenge

Pros

I like the look of the App. I really like the way a push notification can be asked for. I have the control to revoke or re authenticate tokens. If I need to block a user device, it is just a couple of clicks and done. Two of our users do not have cellphones and it was good to know that I can use security fobs to implement watchguard 2FA for them

Cons

Setup was really tricky and convoluted. I had to ask another co-worker that had previously implemented it at another site for help. User setup was not intuitive.
