Out of all of the MFA apps Authpoint is the best and easiest. Being able to log on with a QR Code when machine is offline is a huge plus.

Pros

The ease to add the tokens to the app and labeling them. Also, being able to back up to the cloud is extremely convenient.

Cons

The lag when getting a token to prompt. Another con is that not all token can be added to the same app.

Very good quality and service provided. Setup can be a little complicated but there are step by step guides available on the Watchguard website.

Pros

Provides secure VPN access using a MFA token. Can be centrally managed via the Watchguard online portal.

Cons

No ability for an end user to reset their Token if they lock themselves out. Must use Watchguard AuthPoint App, cannot be used via MS or Google MFA apps

I am very satisfied with WatchGuard AuthPoint. I find setup and management of the AuthPoint solution fairly easy and well documented. Watchguard support is excellent for the solution. Diagnosing issue with logins is easy thanks to the audit logs.

Pros

Easy and secure access to management through Watchguard Cloud. Documentation for integration with products is available on Watchguard website. The AuthPoint app for the mobile device (Android and Mac) is secure and easy to use. The SSO portal for applications is easy to configure and very convenient for end-users.

Cons

The rare outages of the service which delays or prevents logins. AuthPoint app will not allow me to sort tokens or filter / search for tokens which is a burden when users have dozens on tokens.

Very satisfied, piece of mind (as I am the administrator) I would like to see a way to support a user who forgot his mobile device, using my mobile device and not need to login through my computer (in the case I am not in front of a PC)

Simple, straight forward use, secure, immediate response, alternative auth when there's no connection

Cons

Nothing to think about. Everything meets our expectations You should not oblige us to write something if there's nothing to write about!

I am overall extremely satisfied with both watchguard and authpoint app, it is simple to use and protects the network!

Pros

I like the fact that authpoint allows me to securely access my VPN without issues. We can keep our clients secure

Cons

Setup and install was abit cumbersome but with the great support from watchguard we were able to get through!

Overall it has been very good, few pain points at all and it has helped us strengthen our security posture.

Pros

There was a lot of available documentation related to the set up process that made it so easy to get set up, when I had any questions, support was very easy to reach out to and solve my problems.

Cons

It can be confusing for some users to use, if they are not familiar with MFA, and the app permissions on android can cause problems that I have seen for a select user, otherwise it's very robust.

Pros

AuthPoint stands out for its seamless AD and cloud app integration, efficient push-based MFA, and intuitive mobile app. Centralized access management enhances security and user adoption is quick.

Cons

Limited customization in user portal and occasional delays in push notifications. Integration with some third-party apps can require manual configuration.

Easy to setup and use with our clients. The clients feel safer with mfa sign ins. And of course it works perfect with a watchguard Firewall.

Pros

Authpoint is easy to setup and use. The users really easy uses it with their smartphones because the authpoint app is really good.

Cons

Right now we dont have any Cons. Maybe they will come later. The system has only been down one time in three years.
