Overall, Oberlo was a fantastic tool for getting started with dropshipping. Still useful in 2026 but has it's place

Pros

What I like most about Oberlo was how easy and fast it made dropshipping & product sourcing. Automatic order fulfillment and clean Shopify integration saves hours every week

Cons

The biggest downside of Oberlo is its heavy reliance on AliExpress. We do not use Ali Express. Also -product quality and shipping times were often inconsistent and slow

Oberlo is a solid choice for new Shopify dropshippers looking for simplicity and automation, but serious growth now requires alternative solutions.

Pros

Oberlo makes dropshipping on Shopify seamless, offering easy product import, automated order fulfillment, and simple inventory management. Great for beginners starting an online store.

Cons

Since Oberlo has been sunset, features are limited, supplier options are fewer, and scaling a store requires additional tools or platforms. Support can also be slow.

My overall experience has been fantastic. It’s easy to set up and get running and requires very little previous knowledge to have a good experience.

Pros

I really enjoy the customer support ease of use and inventory management provided by Oberlo. The built-in email platform is also fantastic.

Cons

There are limited functions throughout the software, especially when it comes to segments, but if you are not utilizing the email platform, then it really isn’t a big deal

Overall my storefront had great navigation and was able to easily be customized. I also liked the SREO app

I liked the different website templates that could be used and how a website template could be customized to fit my storefront needs

Cons

When trying to connect to Pinterest and other apps it took multiple times to connect and errors would occur.

I used Oberlo to import products into my Shopify store. Sometimes updating product inventory is glitchy and sometimes it doesn’t accurately import all the product information.

Pros

I like the Value for the money and the ease of adding products to Shopify. It’s pretty easy to get the hang of with the tutorials.

Cons

Sometimes it can be difficult to get help when needed and sometimes difficult to sync product inventory.

My experience with Oberlo has been very positive overall. Oberlo makes drop shipping easy for Shopify users like myself, and it helps us to start an e-commerce business without managing our own inventory. Although there are limitations with the shipping times and reliance on suppliers, Oberlo is still a good tool for beginners. I always recommend it to new dropshippers.

Pros

Oberlo makes it very easy to import products and automate order fulfillment for Shopify stores. I like to use it with AliExpress with my drop shipping store.

Cons

Shipping times can be a bit long due to reliance on overseas suppliers from AliExpress. I sometimes take extra time to cypher through products for shorter shipping times.
