Pros

I love that I can interact and encourage coworkers, even ones I do not see every day! It also encourages me when others are able to recognize my efforts.

Cons

At times, navigating can be a bit confusing. Trying to navigate what is where can be challenging. There was a bit of a learning curve.

Our previous employee reward/recognition program accumulated points that the employee could only redeem for products that the program offered. The selection was not great and many employees sat on large amounts of unredeemed points because there was nothing they wanted from the selection the program had available. With Guusto the employee has a much wider range of vendors and therefore products to choose from, and even if their reward was not enough to outright purchase an item from one of those vendors, they can partially subsidize the purchase if they so choose with their Guusto redemption.

Pros

It is straightforward to use as an employer, has good selection of vendors the recipient can use, and is easy to use for the recipient.

Cons

So far I am quite pleased with it, so no complaints as yet. It is easy to use with good selection for the recipient to choose from.

I like that Guusto allows me to recognize the members of my team doing a great job. Organizations and higher-ups don't always have the best visibility on the day-to-day operations of a company, but those day-to-day operations are a huge determining factor in the success of the business. Guusto allows me to recognize my team members and ensure that they know that they are valued and appreciated.

Cons

I think the merchant selection could be improved. Having more options is always a good thing, and will allow for a more widespread appreciation of recognition. If the gift being received can only be redeemed at merchants that someone isn't very interested in, they might not appreciate the gift as much as if it were available to be redeemed somewhere they really enjoy.

By far, the customer service and support is what I like most about Guusto. I have always been the type of person to recognize when customer service representatives go above and beyond - having worked in customer service centric roles before. So when I was contacted by Camille, a Guusto associate who works within the Operations department, I was pleasantly surprised. She had wanted to touch base with me, answer any questions I had about the software, and encouraged me to reach out. Her commitment to ensuring I was having a good time with the platform solidified me decision to invest in Guusto.

There are not many things I dislike about Guusto, however I do wish that users could customize the design of the gift card on the free tier.

You can send shout outs to co workers and also gift them. So you can receive gifts from multiple sources and not just a certain selective group of individuals who may not see your work or help.

it would be great if you could set annual reminders for birthdays and special occasions. That way you can set it and forget it.

No access to a live voice to address issues. It was difficult to find assistance googling Guusto until I realized I was misspelling it. Was spelling it with one "u".
