I use the product on a daily basis to track the share price. Pros You can view the changes in the employees's share price on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. Cons So far I have not really found a negative though I would like to see the date the monthly contibutions are loaded. Mixing up my data and unable to correct this mistake for 3+ months. Sidenote: maybe that's why they removed the term "computer" from their brand. Pros Ease of use user interface. Phone support is reachable and speaks native and understands my non-native business English. At least we can communicate. Cons Computershare upgraded their SW to EquatePlus. During the migration my first name was mixed up with my last name. I'm required to submit a new (prefilled) tax form, which is prefilled wrongly with my first/last name mixed. I'm unable to correct this read only data on the form and consequently unable to submit. I have been unable to the fill in the new IRS tax form for the last 3+ months, although I have opened several tickets via phone support. They keep telling me, it will be fixed within 48 hours. Therefore I'm also unable to sell my shares and have been losing money for the last 3+ months. Pros It helps me access my hard earned Shares and make changes, issue instructions, access data for tax purposes. Cons The tool is really hard to use, for example, if I want to withdraw from my company's share program, I have to manually contact someone, defeating the point of the entire platform. This almost seems intentional to ensure I keep contributing to them even though I don't want to. It's also really cheeky how they monetise tax time and ask you to pay more money for a basic excel report of your tax info, which is autogenerated. Review Source GV Gerhard V. Past transactions of purchases are just not there. Pros Really? Absolutely nothing! Computershare was good, This is garbage Cons It does not work. Terrible. No pending transactions anymore. I loose money every year due restrictions they have. Pros Nothing. I have RSU only here and I never seen such bad last-century interface with only a few options. Cons \- Unfriendly interface. It takes time to understand what you really have and with what schedule to execute. - Inconvenient RSU processing: - You can not change Type of selling (sell-to-cover or sell) once you finish "Task" - Your RSU can be sold after market price if they have cents. Counterintuitive if you say sell by Market price. Cost me $1000 - You shall wait your RSU and money for a way. Why? Review Source BS Brian S. Horrible! Cons hey have horrible since joining with ComputerShare. Horrible! Where to start...customer service - never, ever a call back, follow-up and makes excuses EVERY SINGLE time of why your money is in limbo between EquatePlus and your financial institution. I've been waiting 3 months for 31K and it is one excuse after another. Since this is a employer selected company, I don't have a choice but to use them. In addition, they have no area on their website where you can send in a concern or complaint, it lies in LIMBO. " July 29, 2018 1.0 Pros Any pros have been outweighed by the fact that they lost all of my money. Ease of use does not matter if they are just going to throw your money away. They claim there was a bug with my transaction 5 months ago and it is treated with the highest priority (5 months!!!!) . If you don’t contact them they don’t follow up. They don’t want to escalate to a manager. Average time waiting for an agent to answer above 10 minutes but they are not trained to listen not solve your problem. Stay away Pros None given that if any bug it cannot be solved within acceptable lead time and proper follow up Cons No proper online chat support with less than 10+min waiting time. A month ago they told me to email tax reporting@computershare.co.uk which I did twice with no response and today I sent my 3rd email only to receive a respond saying to go back to Equateplus again. I am afraid this company is going out of business. No one can be this poorly managed. Stay away from this company at all cost... just google all the reviews... out of 5 stars they are rating 1.5 lol... Yes they are that bad!
