If you're a technical SEO, this is a must-have tool. The free version is adequate for getting started. In fact, if your website has less than 500 pages, you're good to go with the free version. If you want advanced functionality and own websites with thousands of pages, you should get the paid version, which is an excellent value for the price. Cons No complaints. When I deliver a new website, I use this software for URL rewrite. For SEO, it's very important to have a good structure. When I deliver a new website, I'll often change the URL structures. With this tool, I can easily crawl the website and don't forget any URL in order to redirect them ! Pros The software is quite hard to crawl a website and will get you every informations you need ! SEMRush Site Audit is pretty good, but is littered with red herrings - everything Screaming Frog displays is always accurate. Pros The crawl-ability that Screaming Frog features is second to none. For finding 404s, and other errors, I would always go with Screaming Frog. It has some really nice visuals to understand the hierarchy of a website, to help with SEO. July 22, 2021 5.0 I like how everything is organized inside the Screaming Frog app including each of the tabbed areas. Pros I love the many features that Screaming Frog offers but I especially like the Tree Graphs under Visualisations where I can quickly show my supervisor a snapshot of all interlinked webpages. Cons I can connect accounts such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, PageSpeed insights and Google Search Console but when I close the app, then reopen it, I have a reconnect those accounts. Not a big deal and it's easy to reconnect but would love to see those accounts stay connected. Reason for choosing Screaming Frog SEO Spider I've heard great things about Screaming Frog and wanted to try it and glad I made the move which has been a huge time-savor for me.
