I could also not locate a way to save the progress to check on another day, meaning I have to start from scratch every time. It crawls sites really quickly and being able to export the data makes it easy to put together audits and client reports. Pros My favorite thing about Screaming Frog is that it's free up to a certain number of pages. Working with non-enterprise level sites myself, I get an incredible crawler for free. The thing I like most are probably Screaming Frog's internal linking and site crawl visualizations. So refreshing after living in spreadsheets for most of the day. Cons I think the design and UI could probably be better and more intuitive. It's not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement. Cons Some data fields could have include a better description of what they are pulling for values. A simple question-mark adjacent to the field would help, rather than having to hunt down documentation on their site. The user-interface hasn't been updated in ... well, ever. After downloading the software, you simply have to install it and get started. Running the tool is easy as you only have to enter your URL and the software will take it from there. If you are looking to find orphan pages, your directory tree, 301s, 404s, and canonical pages, then this is your go-to software. It also makes it easier to find your inlinks and outbound links. Each month, I run all my websites on Screaming Frog to fix any linking errors that I might have missed. It's a breeze! Cons So far, everything works perfectly and I have no complaints.
