### "Asana Review"

June 14, 2025

4.0

Really great overall experience! I've enjoyed having several staff members on board with this software to organize our planning and execution of projects.

Pros

Being able to organize multiple projects in one place, coordinating with different parties involved.

Cons

It seems notifications are either all or none when reminding me about deadlines for projects. It could be that I need to train myself to check progress daily instead of relying on email notifications.

### "Asana has helped our team get organized!"

June 25, 2025

5.0

Utilizing Asana has been overall an extremely helpful application to organize multiple projects and workflows within our organization.

Pros

Asana has allowed our cross-functional teams to communicate specific tasks and workflows required for running our business. Asana has a clean, easy-to-use interface that has allowed us to integrate our needs smoothly.

Cons

It would be helpful if Asana was able to communicate with and between outside applications, thus helping us link the many applications our organization utilizes.

### "Good but not great"

July 23, 2025

4.0

Overall experience was pretty good but I personally wouldn't pay for a plan that's outside of the basic free plan.

Pros

I like that teams can have different boards for separate projects and can see who is completing what and when and that there are different views for timelines etc.

Cons

I think it's not the most aesthetically pleasing software which is not a big deal per se, but it did make me use it slightly less in comparison to other task softwares like monday.com. Additionally, I didn't love the options for integration and notifications.

### "My experience using Asana "

March 22, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Asana was intriguing, and I highly recommend especially to new users as it is user friendly

Pros

I am so in love with Asana as I can create, assign tasks, set deadlines, track progress across multiple projects for team communication, and I can also enable me to communicate with members ,mention, and share files.

Cons

I Can say with everything in me that Asana has the most user friendly interface. When I was assigned task from a client to use Asana, it didn't take me unto 5 minuets to get use to the interface. That was the first time working Using Asana. And since then I have always loved using Asana to manage my projects and easily communicate with my clients for task submission.

### "Great PM Tool for a Range of Business Budgets"

January 25, 2025

5.0

Overall, very pleased with the simple free limited plan. While there are some neat features available in the paid plan, the free limited plan does offer some level of customization. Team members can customize project fields to fit specific needs. It also offers positive reinforcement in the form of fun animations when getting started. It's also nice to be able to utilize the list form, the board form, and the calendar. It's a great tool for organizations of all sizes, but super helpful for those with tight budgets. It allows teams with limited budgets to get started with a solid tool and upgrade when resources in place without having to switch to a different tool altogether.

Pros

Love the ease of creating and assigning tasks for various projects. My team and I can easily track our work, collaborate, update notes, change status, and more.

Cons

I would like to see a bit more flexibility in changing color layout on the free version.

### "An easy and effective project management tool"

February 2, 2025

5.0

Overall Asana makes my life so much easier, and is a great way to keep track of collaborative projects. The entry price point might be more expensive than competitors but I think you get a lot more features than other starter options, making it worth the money to me.

Pros

Asana makes it so easy for me to manage multiple projects with different teams and varying deadlines. I can keep on track and have full visibility of all my tasks. The mobile app is a clean format and makes updating projects on the go super easy. I also really like the integration with Google Drive which allows me to share files with ease.

Cons

It took me a little while to figure out how to get the most out of Asana, and the UX is a bit cluttered, so it can sometimes be confusing as to whether I’m looking at my personal tasks or a Project task.

### "Asana is the Best in Task Management "

December 3, 2024

5.0

I have enjoyed using Asana both professionally and in my personal task management. It keeps me organized and ensures my team completes projects on time. We build full process maps that outlines exactly who is responsible for what at every stage of a project.

Pros

I love the ability to organize projects with tasks, sub-tasks, and even sub-sub-tasks. We can assign people to each task with specific due dates. My whole team is always on the same page because of this task management system.

Cons

The only con is that I would love to have more flexibility on how I organize the projects, because my company has quite a few and they can be cumbersome to locate at times.

Overall I am pleased with it as I’m using it as a student in a mentorship program, so it helps keep me on track with everything.

Pros

It’s a good tool for taking courses and having the teacher or mentor be able to assign tasks and keep track of one’s progress.

Cons

Sometimes it can be hard to navigate to pinned notes or tasks that have been assigned outside of the normal or original lesson plans.

### "Asana works well when you make it work for you"

November 26, 2024

4.0

I have a positive experience with Asana! I have yet to find the perfect software in general, so it of course is not without its minor flaws. I'd highly recommend this product.

Pros

If you know how to use Asana and all of its features, then it can work wonders for your team. Asana is helpful for tracking shared tasks on a team-level, such as a team that is planning an annual event with multiple tasks, deadlines, and departments (marketing and sponsorships, event logistics, registration management, etc.). Your team's Asana can consist of multiple "Projects", with sub-categories within each project for your individual tasks. Tasks can be assigned to as few or as many teammates as you'd prefer, and can be set to reoccurring or one-time only. Tasks can move between sub-categories and between projects. Our team also uses Asana for weekly team meetings, where we check off each task as an agenda item, and will sometimes turn an agenda item into a task on someone's to-do list, adding a due date and moving the task to a relevant project.

Cons

Sometimes, the functionality and innerworkings of Asana can be rather complex for a team's comprehension. With some training and sharing of best practices, teams can truly make Asana work for them. The cons of Asana lie more with the users, as everyone needs to be on the same page on using Asana and how the team specifically wants to manage tasks. Every team has their own preferences. Also, as someone who represents multiple non-profit organizations in my job and has multiple emails/aliases, it can also be challenging if you have already created an Asana account with one email. There is a way to merge all your Asana "teams" into one log-in, but it is difficult to do so if you have already created an Asana log-in.

We have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Asana. It is one of the most important tools to our organization. We are way more organized and efficient thanks to using Asana.

Pros

Our creative team uses Asana to keep track of all tasks and calendars. It is really important to the organization of our projects. Some users would be completely lost without it.

Cons

### "A reliable method of tracking projects and team responsibilities"

April 30, 2025

5.0

It’s smoothed out our programs by keeping everyone on deadlines and responsibilities, especially as we coordinate across countries.

Pros

We use Asana to plan our program tasks, event agendas and training days in a very simple format. I like how visual it is there are boards and timelines, and it’s easy to see what is on track and what needs more support.

Cons

But as projects grow and contain more and more sub-tasks, the dashboard can become a bit overwhelming. It also requires a bit of training for new team members not accustomed to working with task management apps.

Asana is super helpful and useful in a small or big group setting! It makes it easy to distribute daily, weekly and monthly tasks/ reminders.

Pros

Asana is great because you can have many users on there with specific tasks and is very easy for management to hold them accountable along with holding themselves accountable.

Cons

There are a lot of email notifications that get sent that are not necessary. The program itself I don’t have any cons with.

Pros

Smooth dashboard, multi-app integration, minimalistic UI. I have been using Asana for almost 3 years to manage my remote teams, and it never fails to gimme a seamless experience as compared to other apps like Click Ups

Cons

Not something major but sometimes the keyboard shortcuts might feel overwhelming to use. They could have also introduced some other advanced features that they offer in paid plans, yet the free plan works well for small teams

I have used Asana for myself and as part of a team. It encourages collaboration, streamlines communication, and assists in keeping everyone organized. I've tried several platforms like this, and Asana is my go-to for project organization and planning.

Pros

Asana is user friendly and keeps my team on-task through streamlined management and an easy-to-use interface.

Cons

I wish there was more flexibility with long-range planning. While the calendar function makes it easy to see upcoming dates, I would like to option to create more robust recurring tasks each year.

### "A powerful tool but might be too much for small teams/businesses"

December 5, 2024

5.0

Overall it's a great app, I think it's just not for me. But I can see why so many businesses use it. It's powerful and capable.

Pros

Asana has a sleek modern interface, is used by many companies, and offers a wide range of tools for task and project management.

Cons

For me personally, Asana always felt like too much to handle. With a lot of tasks on my plate as both an employee and manager using Asana on multiple different occasions, I always felt like the app offers way too much for me to comprehend with my busy schedule and limited resources.
